ગીતશાસ્ત્ર 26

1 ૧ દાઉદનું (ગીત). હે યહોવાહ, મારો ન્યાય કરો, કેમ કે હું પ્રામાણિકપણે ચાલ્યો છું; મેં યહોવાહ પર ભરોસો રાખ્યો છે અને હું ડગ્યો નથી.

A Psalme of David. Judge me, O Lord, for I haue walked in mine innocency: my trust hath bene also in the Lord: therefore shall I not slide.

2 ૨ હે યહોવાહ, મારી કસોટી કરીને મારી પરીક્ષા કરો; મારા અંત: કરણની તથા મારા હૃદયની શુદ્ધતાની કસોટી કરો!

Proue me, O Lord, and trie mee: examine my reines, and mine heart.

3 ૩ કારણ કે તમારી કૃપા હું નજરે નિહાળું છું અને હું તમારા સત્ય માર્ગે ચાલતો આવ્યો છું.

For thy louing kindnesse is before mine eyes: therefore haue I walked in thy trueth.

4 ૪ મેં ક્યારેય દુરાચારીઓની સંગત કરી નથી હું ક્યારેય કપટીઓની સાથે જોડાયો નથી.

I haue not hanted with vaine persons, neither kept companie with the dissemblers.

5 ૫ હું દુષ્ટોની સંગતને ધિક્કારું છું અને હું તેઓની સાથે બેસીશ નહિ.

I haue hated the assemblie of the euill, and haue not companied with the wicked.

6 ૬ હું નિર્દોષપણામાં મારા હાથ ધોઈશ અને હે યહોવાહ, એ જ પ્રમાણે હું વેદીની પ્રદક્ષિણા કરીશ.

I will wash mine handes in innocencie, O Lord, and compasse thine altar,

7 ૭ જેથી હું આભારસ્તુતિનાં ગીત ગાઉં અને તમારાં સર્વ ચમત્કારી કામો પ્રગટ કરું.

That I may declare with the voyce of thankesgiuing, and set foorth all thy wonderous woorkes.

8 ૮ હે યહોવાહ, તમે જે ઘરમાં રહો છો તે અને તે જગ્યા કે જ્યાં તમારું ગૌરવ છે, તે મને પ્રિય છે.

O Lord, I haue loued the habitation of thine house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

9 ૯ પાપીઓની સાથે મારો સર્વનાશ કરશો નહિ ઘાતકી માણસોની સાથે મને મારી નાખશો નહિ.

Gather not my soule with the sinners, nor my life with the bloodie men:

10 ૧૦ તેઓને હાથે ઉપદ્રવ થાય છે અને તેઓના જમણા હાથ લાંચથી ભરેલા છે.

In whose handes is wickednes, and their right hand is full of bribes.

11 ૧૧ પણ હું તો પ્રામાણિકપણે વર્તીશ; મારા પર દયા કરીને મને છોડાવો.

But I will walke in mine innocencie: redeeme me therefore, and be mercifull vnto me.

12 ૧૨ મારો પગ મેં સપાટ જગ્યા પર મૂકેલો છે; જનસમૂહમાં હું યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરીશ.

My foote standeth in vprightnesse: I will praise thee, O Lord, in the Congregations.
