ગીતશાસ્ત્ર 22
1 ૧ મુખ્ય સંગીતકાર માટે; “હરણની લય “દાઉદનું એક ગીત હે મારા ઈશ્વર, મારા ઈશ્વર, તમે મને કેમ તજી દીધો છે? મને સહાય કરવાને તથા મારો વિલાપ સાંભળવાને તમે એટલે દૂર કેમ રહો છો?
To the chief Musician. Upon Aijeleth-Shahar. A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? [why art thou] far from my salvation, from the words of my groaning?
2 ૨ હે મારા ઈશ્વર, હું દિવસે પોકાર કરું છું, પણ તમે મને જવાબ આપતા નથી; અને રાત્રે પણ હું ચૂપ રહેતો નથી!
My God, I cry by day, and thou answerest not; and by night, and there is no rest for me:
And thou art holy, thou that dwellest amid the praises of Israel.
Our fathers confided in thee: they confided, and thou didst deliver them.
They cried unto thee, and were delivered; they confided in thee, and were not confounded.
But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and the despised of the people.
All they that see me laugh me to scorn; they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, [saying: ]
Commit it to Jehovah — let him rescue him; let him deliver him, because he delighteth in him!
9 ૯ તમે મને ઉદરમાંથી બહાર લાવનાર છો; જ્યારે હું મારી માતાનું દૂધ પીતો હતો, ત્યારે તમે મારામાં ભરોસો ઉપજાવ્યો.
But thou art he that took me out of the womb; thou didst make me trust, upon my mother's breasts.
I was cast upon thee from the womb; thou art my God from my mother's belly.
Be not far from me, for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
Many bulls have encompassed me; Bashan's strong ones have beset me round.
They gape upon me with their mouth, [as] a ravening and a roaring lion.
14 ૧૪ જેમ પાણી વહી જાય તેમ, મારી શક્તિ ચાલી ગઈ છે અને મારાં સર્વ હાડકાં ઢીલાં થઈ ગયાં છે. મારું હૃદય મીણના જેવું બની ગયું છે; તે મારાં આંતરડાંમાં પીગળી ગયું છે.
I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is become like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
15 ૧૫ મારું બળ વાસણના એક તૂટેલા ટુકડા જેવું સુકું થઈ ગયું છે; મારી જીભ મારા મુખના તાળવે ચોંટી જાય છે. તમે મને મરણની ધૂળમાં બેસાડી દીધો છે.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue cleaveth to my palate; and thou hast laid me in the dust of death.
16 ૧૬ કારણ કે મારી આસપાસ કૂતરા ફરી વળ્યા છે; મને દુષ્ટોની ટોળીએ ઘેરી લીધો છે તેઓએ મારા હાથપગ વીંધી નાખ્યા છે.
For dogs have encompassed me; an assembly of evil-doers have surrounded me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
I may count all my bones. They look, they stare upon me;
They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
But thou, Jehovah, be not far [from me]; O my strength, haste thee to help me.
Deliver my soul from the sword; my only one from the power of the dog;
Save me from the lion's mouth. Yea, from the horns of the buffaloes hast thou answered me.
I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
23 ૨૩ હે યહોવાહનો ભય રાખનારાઓ, તેમનાં ગુણગાન ગાઓ! તમે બધા યાકૂબના વંશજો, તેમને માન આપો! હે ઇઝરાયલના સર્વ વંશજો, તમે તેમનું ભય રાખો.
Ye that fear Jehovah, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and revere him, all ye the seed of Israel.
24 ૨૪ કેમ કે તેમણે દુઃખીઓના દુઃખને તુચ્છ ગણ્યું નથી અને તેનાથી કંટાળ્યા નથી; યહોવાહે તેનાથી પોતાનું મુખ ફેરવ્યું નથી; જ્યારે તેણે મદદને માટે અરજ કરી, ત્યારે તેમણે તેનું સાંભળ્યું.
For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him: but when he cried unto him, he heard.
25 ૨૫ હું તમારી કૃપાથી મોટી મંડળીમાં તમારી સ્તુતિ કરું છું; તેમનું ભય રાખનારાઓની આગળ હું મારી પ્રતિજ્ઞાઓ પૂરી કરીશ.
My praise is from thee, in the great congregation; I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
26 ૨૬ દરિદ્રીઓ ખાઈને તૃપ્ત થશે; જેઓ યહોવાહને શોધે છે, તેઓ તેમની સ્તુતિ કરશે. તેઓનો હૃદય સર્વકાળ જીવો.
The meek shall eat and be satisfied; they shall praise Jehovah that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
27 ૨૭ પૃથ્વીના સર્વ લોકો યહોવાહને સંભારીને તેમની તરફ ફરશે; વિદેશીઓનાં સર્વ કુટુંબો તેમની આગળ આવીને પ્રણામ કરશે.
All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn unto Jehovah, and all the families of the nations shall worship before thee:
For the kingdom is Jehovah's, and he ruleth among the nations.
29 ૨૯ પૃથ્વીના સર્વ મોટા લોકો પ્રણામ કરશે; જેઓ ધૂળમાં જનારા છે, એટલે જેઓ પોતાના જીવને બચાવી શકતા નથી, તેઓ સર્વ ઈશ્વરની આગળ નમશે.
All the fat ones of the earth shall eat and worship; all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him, and he that cannot keep alive his own soul.
30 ૩૦ તેઓના વંશજો પ્રભુ ઈશ્વરની સેવા કરશે; આવતી પેઢીની આગળ તેઓને તેનું ન્યાયીપણું પ્રગટ કરવામાં આવશે.
A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
31 ૩૧ તેઓ આવશે અને હવે પછી જન્મનારા લોકોને; તેઓનું ન્યાયીપણું પ્રગટ કરીને કહેશે કે, તેમણે તે કર્યું છે!
They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done [it].
