ગીતશાસ્ત્ર 15

1 ૧ દાઉદનું ગીત. હે યહોવાહ, તમારા પવિત્રમંડપમાં કોણ નિવાસ કરશે? તમારા પવિત્ર પર્વતમાં કોણ રહેશે?

A Psalm of David. LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

2 ૨ જે નિર્દોષતાથી ચાલે છે અને ન્યાયથી વર્તે છે અને જે પોતાના હૃદયમાં સત્ય બોલે છે, તે.

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

3 ૩ તે કદી પોતાની જીભે ચાડી કરતો નથી, બીજાનું ખરાબ કરતો નથી, પોતાના પડોશી પર તહોમત મૂકતો નથી.

[He that] backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbor, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor.

4 ૪ તેની દ્રષ્ટિમાં પાપી માણસ ધિક્કારપાત્ર છે પણ જેઓ યહોવાહથી ડરે છે તેને તે માન આપે છે. તે પોતાના હિત વિરુદ્ધ સોગન ખાઈને ફરી જતો નથી.

In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoreth them that fear the LORD. [He that] sweareth to [his own] hurt, and changeth not.

5 ૫ તે પોતાનાં નાણાં વ્યાજે આપતો નથી. જે નિરપરાધી વિરુદ્ધ લાંચ લેતો નથી. એવાં કામ કરનાર કદી ડગશે નહિ.

[He that] putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these [things] shall never be moved.
