ગીતશાસ્ત્ર 144
1 ૧ દાઉદનું ગીત. યહોવાહ મારો ખડક છે, તેમની સ્તુતિ કરો, તે મારા હાથને અને મારી આંગળીઓને યુદ્ધમાં લડતાં શીખવે છે.

2 ૨ તમે મારા કૃપાનિધિ, મારો ગઢ, મારો ઊંચો કિલ્લો તથા મારા બચાવનાર છો, તમે મારી ઢાલ તથા જેમના પર મારો ભરોસો છે તે તમે જ છો, તમે દેશોને મારે તાબે કરો છો.
Covenant loyalty my and stronghold my refuge my and deliverer my to me shield my and in him I take refuge the [one who] subdues people my under me.
3 ૩ હે યહોવાહ, માણસ તે શા લેખામાં છે કે, તમે તેની કાળજી રાખો છો અથવા માણસનો દીકરો કોણ કે તેના વિષે તમે વિચારો છો?
O Yahweh what? [is] humankind and you have considered him a child of humankind and you have regarded him.
Humankind to breath he is like days his [are] like a shadow passing.
O Yahweh bend down heavens your so you may come down touch the mountains so they may smoke.
Flash lightning and you will scatter them send arrows your and you will rout them.

9 ૯ હે ઈશ્વર, હું તમારે માટે નવું ગીત ગાઈશ; દશ તારવાળાં વાજિંત્ર સાથે હું તમારી સમક્ષ નવું ગીત ગાઈશ.
O God a song new I will sing to you with a lyre of ten I will make music to you.

11 ૧૧ મને છોડાવો અને મને આ વિદેશીઓના હાથમાંથી મુક્ત કરો તેઓનું મુખ મિથ્યા બોલે છે તેઓના જમણા હાથો કપટના હાથો છે.

13 ૧૩ અમારી વખારો વિવિધ જાતનાં બધાં અનાજથી ભરપૂર થાઓ; અને અમારાં ઘેટાં અમારા વાડાઓમાં હજારો અને દશ હજારો બચ્ચાંને જન્મ આપનારાં થાઓ.

14 ૧૪ અમારા બળદો ખેતરોની પેદાશથી લાદેલા થાઓ; ગાબડું પાડનાર કોઈ પણ ન થાઓ; નાસી છૂટનાર કોઈ ન હો અને શેરીઓમાં કોઈ બૂમ ન પડો.
