ગીતશાસ્ત્ર 121

1 ૧ ચઢવાનું ગીત. હું પર્વતો તરફ મારી આંખો ઊંચી કરીશ. મને ક્યાંથી સહાય મળે?

The song of greces. I reiside myn iyen to the hillis; fro whannus help schal come to me.

2 ૨ જે યહોવાહે આકાશ તથા પૃથ્વી ઉત્પન્ન કર્યાં છે, તેમની તરફથી મને સહાય મળે છે.

Myn help is of the Lord; that made heuene and erthe.

3 ૩ તે તારા પગને ડગવા દેશે નહિ; જે તારું રક્ષણ કરે છે તે ઊંઘશે નહિ.

The Lord yyue not thi foot in to mouyng; nether he nappe, that kepith thee.

4 ૪ જુઓ, ઇઝરાયલના જે રક્ષક છે તે કદી ઊંઘતા નથી અને નિદ્રાવશ થતા નથી.

Lo! he schal not nappe, nether slepe; that kepith Israel.

5 ૫ યહોવાહ તારા રક્ષક છે; યહોવાહ તારા જમણે હાથે તને છાયા કરશે.

The Lord kepith thee; the Lord is thi proteccioun aboue thi riythond.

6 ૬ દિવસે સૂર્ય કે રાત્રે ચંદ્ર તને નુકસાન પહોંચાડશે નહિ.

The sunne schal not brenne thee bi dai; nether the moone bi nyyt.

7 ૭ સર્વ દુઃખથી યહોવાહ તારું રક્ષણ કરશે; તે તારા આત્માની સંભાળ રાખશે.

The Lord kepe thee fro al yuel; the Lord kepe thi soule.

8 ૮ હમણાંથી તે સર્વકાળ માટે તારા સર્વ કાર્યોમાં યહોવાહ તારું રક્ષણ કરશે.

The Lord kepe thi goyng in and thi goyng out; fro this tyme now and in to the world.
