ગીતશાસ્ત્ર 111

1 ૧ યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો. ન્યાયીઓની સભામાં અને મંડળીઓમાં હું ખરા હૃદયથી યહોવાહની આભારસ્તુતિ કરીશ.

Praise ye Yah! I will give thanks unto Yahweh, with a whole heart, in the circle of the upright and the assembly.

2 ૨ યહોવાહનાં કાર્યો મહાન છે, જે બાબતો તેઓ ઇચ્છે છે તેની તેઓ આતુરતાપૂર્વક રાહ જુએ છે.

Great are the works of Yahweh, sought out, by all who find pleasure therein.

3 ૩ તેમનાં કાર્યો તેજસ્વી અને મહિમાવંત છે અને તેમનું ન્યાયીપણું સદાકાળ ટકે છે.

Honourable and majestic, is his doing, and, his righteousness, standeth for aye.

4 ૪ તેમણે પોતાના ચમત્કારી કાર્યોથી પોતાને માટે સ્મારક કર્યું છે; યહોવાહ દયાળુ તથા કૃપાથી ભરપૂર છે.

A memorial, hath he made by his wonders, Gracious and compassionate, is Yahweh.

5 ૫ તે પોતાના અનુયાયીઓને ખોરાક પૂરો પાડે છે. તે પોતાના કરારનું હંમેશાં સ્મરણ રાખશે.

Food, hath he given to them who revere him, He will remember, age-abidingly, his covenant.

6 ૬ વિદેશીઓનો વારસો પોતાના લોકોને આપીને તેમણે તેઓને પોતાનાં અદ્દભુત કાર્યોનું પરાક્રમ બતાવ્યું છે.

The might of his works, hath he declared to his people, that he may give them the inheritance of the nations.

7 ૭ તેમના હાથનાં કામ સત્ય અને ન્યાયી છે; તેમની સર્વ આજ્ઞાઓ વિશ્વસનીય છે.

The works of his hands, are faithful and just, Firm are all his precepts;

8 ૮ તેઓ સદા સ્થિર રખાયેલી છે, અને સત્યતાથી તથા વિશ્વાસુપણાથી કરવામાં આવી છે.

Upheld to futurity, to times age-abiding, done in faithfulness and equity.

9 ૯ તેમણે પોતાના લોકોને વિજય આપ્યો છે; પોતાનો કરાર સદાકાળ માટે ફરમાવ્યો છે; તેમનું નામ પવિત્ર અને ભયાવહ છે.

Ransom, hath he sent to his people, He hath commanded, to times age-abiding, his covenant, Holy and reverend, is his Name.

10 ૧૦ યહોવાહને માન આપવું એ બુદ્ધિની શરૂઆત છે. જે લોકો તેમની સૂચનાઓનું પાલન કરે છે, તેઓ સમજદાર છે. તેમની સ્તુતિ સર્વકાળ થશે.

The beginning of wisdom, is the reverence of Yahweh, Good discretion, have all that do them, His praise, endureth for aye.
