ગીતશાસ્ત્ર 10
So then, why, O Lord, have you withdrawn far away? Why have you overlooked us in opportunity, in tribulation?
While the impious is arrogant, the poor is enflamed. They are held by the counsels that they devise.
3 ૩ કેમ કે દુષ્ટ લોકો પોતાના અંતઃકરણની ઇચ્છાની તૃપ્તિ થતાં અભિમાન કરે છે; લોભીઓ યહોવાહને ધિક્કારે છે અને તેમની નિંદા કરે છે.
For the sinner is praised by the desires of his soul, and the iniquitous is blessed.
4 ૪ દુષ્ટ પોતાના અહંકારી ચહેરાથી બતાવે છે કે, ઈશ્વર બદલો લેશે નહિ. તેના સર્વ વિચાર એવા છે કે, ઈશ્વર છે જ નહિ.
The sinner has provoked the Lord; according to the multitude of his wrath, he will not seek him.
5 ૫ તે બધા સમયે સુરક્ષિત રહે છે, પણ તમારો ન્યાય એટલો બધો ઊંચો છે કે તે તેના સમજવામાં આવતો નથી; તે પોતાના સર્વ શત્રુઓનો તિરસ્કાર કરે છે.
God is not before his sight. His ways are stained at all times. Your judgments are removed from his face. He will be master of all his enemies.
For he has said in his heart, “I will not be disturbed: from generation to generation without evil.”
His mouth is full of curses, and bitterness, and deceit. Under his tongue are hardship and sorrow.
8 ૮ તે ગામોની છૂપી જગ્યાઓમાં બેસે છે; તે સંતાઈને નિર્દોષનું ખૂન કરે છે; તેની આંખો નિરાધારને છાની રીતે તાકી રહે છે.
He sits in ambush, with resources in hidden places, so that he may execute the innocent.
9 ૯ જેમ સિંહ ગુફામાં છુપાઈ રહે છે; તેમ તે ગુપ્ત જગ્યામાં ભરાઈ રહે છે. તે ગરીબોને પકડવાને છુપાઈ રહે છે, તે ગરીબને પકડીને પોતાની જાળમાં ખેંચી લઈ જાય છે.
His eyes catch sight of the poor. He lies in ambush, in hiding like a lion in his den. He lies in ambush, so that he may seize the poor, to seize the poor as he draws him in.
With his snare, he will bring him down. He will crouch down and pounce, when he has power over the poor.
11 ૧૧ તે પોતાના હૃદયમાં કહે છે, “ઈશ્વર ભૂલી ગયા છે; તેમણે પોતાનું મુખ જોયું નથી, સંતાડી રાખ્યું છે અને તે કદી જોશે નહિ.”
For he has said in his heart, “God has forgotten, he has turned away his face, lest he see to the end.”
O Lord God, rise up. Let your hand be exalted. Do not forget the poor.
How has the impious one provoked God? For he has said in his heart, “He will not inquire.”
14 ૧૪ તમે જોયું છે; કેમ કે તમારા હાથમાં લેવાને માટે તમે ઉપદ્રવ કરનારા તથા ઈર્ષ્યાખોરોને નજરમાં રાખો છો. નિરાધાર પોતાને તમારા હવાલામાં સોંપે છે; તમે અનાથને બચાવો છો.
You do see, for you examine hardship and sorrow, so that you may deliver them into your hands. The poor one has been abandoned to you. You will be a helper to the orphan.
15 ૧૫ દુષ્ટ લોકોના હાથ તમે ભાંગી નાખો; તમે દુષ્ટ માણસની દુષ્ટતાને એટલે સુધી શોધી કાઢો કે કંઈ પણ બાકી રહે નહિ.
Break the arm of the sinner and the malicious. His sin will be sought, and it will not be found.
The Lord shall reign in eternity, even forever and ever. You will perish the Gentiles from his land.
17 ૧૭ હે યહોવાહ, તમે નમ્રની અભિલાષા જાણો છો; તમે તેઓનાં હૃદયોને દૃઢ કરશો, તમે તેઓની પ્રાર્થના સાંભળશો;
The Lord has heeded the desire of the poor. Your ear has listened to the preparation of their heart,
so as to judge for the orphan and the humble, so that man may no longer presume to magnify himself upon the earth.
