ગીતશાસ્ત્ર 1

1 ૧ જે માણસ દુષ્ટોની સલાહ પ્રમાણે ચાલતો નથી, જે પાપીઓના માર્ગમાં ઊભો રહેતો નથી, અને જે નિંદાખોરોની સાથે બેસતો નથી, તે આશીર્વાદિત છે.

blessed [the] man which not to go: walk in/on/with counsel wicked and in/on/with way: conduct sinner not to stand: stand and in/on/with seat to mock not to dwell

2 ૨ યહોવાહના નિયમશાસ્ત્રથી તે હર્ષ પામે છે અને રાતદિવસ તે તેમના નિયમશાસ્ત્રનું મનન કરે છે.

that if: except if: except in/on/with instruction LORD pleasure his and in/on/with instruction his to mutter by day and night

3 ૩ તે નદીના કિનારે રોપાયેલાં વૃક્ષ જેવો થશે, જે પોતાનાં ફળ પોતાની ઋતુ પ્રમાણે આપે છે, જેનાં પાંદડાં કદી પણ કરમાતાં નથી, તે જે કંઈ કરે છે તે સફળ થાય છે.

and to be like/as tree to transplant upon stream water which fruit his to give: give in/on/with time his and leaf his not to wither and all which to make: do to prosper

4 ૪ દુષ્ટો એવા નથી, પણ તેઓ પવનથી ઊડતાં ફોતરાં જેવા છે.

not so [the] wicked that if: except if: except like/as chaff which to drive him spirit: breath

5 ૫ તેથી દુષ્ટો ન્યાયાસન આગળ ટકશે નહિ અને ન્યાયીઓની સભામાં પાપીઓ ઊભા રહી શકશે નહિ.

upon so not to arise: establish wicked in/on/with justice: judgement and sinner in/on/with congregation righteous

6 ૬ કેમ કે યહોવાહ ન્યાયીઓનો માર્ગ જાણે છે, પણ દુષ્ટોના માર્ગનો નાશ થશે.

for to know LORD way: journey righteous and way: journey wicked to perish
