નીતિવચનો 31

1 ૧ લમૂએલ રાજાની માતાએ જે ઈશ્વરવાણી તેને શીખવી હતી તે આ છે.

[the] words of Lemuel [the] king an oracle which she instructed him mother his.

2 ૨ હે મારા દીકરા? ઓ મારા દીકરા? હે મારી માનતાઓના દીકરા?

What? O son my and what? O son of womb my and what? O son of vows my.

3 ૩ તારી શક્તિ સ્ત્રીઓ પાછળ વેડફીશ નહિ, અને તારા માર્ગો રાજાઓનો નાશ કરનારની પાછળ વેડફીશ નહિ.

May not you give to women strength your and ways your to wiping out kings.

4 ૪ દીકરા લમૂએલ, દ્રાક્ષારસ પીવો તે રાજાને શોભતું નથી, વળી “દ્રાક્ષાસવ ક્યાં છે?” તે રાજ્યના હાકેમોએ પૂછવું યોગ્ય નથી.

May not [it be] for kings - O Lemuel may not [it be] for kings to drink wine and for rulers (where? *Q(K)*) strong drink.

5 ૫ કારણ કે પીવાને લીધે તેઓ પોતાના નિયમો ભૂલી જાય છે, અને દુઃખીઓને નિષ્પક્ષ ન્યાય આપી શકતા નથી.

Lest he should drink and he may forget [what] is decreed and he may change [the] cause of all [the] sons of affliction.

6 ૬ જેઓ મરવાની અણી પર હોય તેને દ્રાક્ષાસવ અને જેઓ દુભાયેલા હોય તેને દ્રાક્ષારસ આપ.

Give strong drink to [one who] is perishing and wine to [people] bitter of soul.

7 ૭ ભલે તેઓ પીને પોતાની ગરીબીને વિસારે પડે, અને તેઓને પોતાનાં દુ: ખો યાદ આવે નહિ.

He will drink and he may forget poverty his and trouble his not he will remember again.

8 ૮ જે પોતાના માટે બોલી શકતા નથી તેઓને માટે તું બોલ અને તું નિરાધારોના હક માટે સહાય કર.

Open mouth your for [the] dumb to [the] cause of all [the] sons of passing away.

9 ૯ તારું મુખ ઉઘાડીને અદલ ઇનસાફ કર અને ગરીબ તથા દરિદ્રીને માન આપ.

Open mouth your judge righteousness and plead [the] cause of [the] poor and [the] needy.

10 ૧૦ સદગુણી પત્ની કોને મળે? કેમ કે તેનું મૂલ્ય તો રત્નો કરતાં વધારે છે.

A wife of ability who? will he find and [is] far more than jewels price her.

11 ૧૧ તેનો પતિ તેના પર પૂરો વિશ્વાસ રાખે છે, અને તેને સંપત્તિની કોઈ ખોટ પડશે નહિ.

It trusts in her [the] heart of husband her and gain not he lacks.

12 ૧૨ પોતાના આયુષ્યનાં સર્વ દિવસો પર્યંત, તે તેનું ભલું જ કરે છે અને કદી ખોટું કરતી નથી.

She feeds him good and not evil all [the] days of life her.

13 ૧૩ તે ઊન અને શણ ભેગું કરે છે, અને ખંતથી પોતાના હાથે કામ કરવામાં આનંદ માણે છે.

She seeks wool and flax and she worked in [the] delight of hands her.

14 ૧૪ તે દૂરથી પોતાનું અન્ન લઈ આવનાર, વેપારીના વહાણ જેવી છે.

She is like [the] ships of a trader from a distance she brings food her.

15 ૧૫ ઘરનાં સર્વને માટે ખાવાનું તૈયાર કરવા તે પરોઢ થતાં પહેલાં ઊઠી જાય છે અને તેની દાસીઓ માટે દિવસભરના કામનું આયોજન કરે છે.

And she rose - when still night and she gave food to household her and an allotted portion to female servants her.

16 ૧૬ તે કોઈ ખેતરનો વિચાર કરીને તેને ખરીદે છે, પોતાના નફામાંથી તે પોતાને હાથે દ્રાક્ષવાડીઓ રોપે છે.

She considers a field and she took it from [the] fruit of hands her (she plants *Q(K)*) a vineyard.

17 ૧૭ પોતાની કમરે તે ખડતલ અને ભારે ઉધમી છે, તે પોતાના હાથ બળવાન કરે છે.

She girds with strength loins her and she strengthened arms her.

18 ૧૮ તે પોતાના વેપારના નફાનો ખ્યાલ રાખે છે; તેથી રાતભર તેનો દીવો હોલવાતો નથી.

She perceives that [is] good profit her not it is extinguished (in the night *Q(K)*) lamp her.

19 ૧૯ તે એક હાથે પૂણી પકડે છે અને બીજે હાથે રેંટિયો ચલાવે છે.

Hands her she stretches out on the distaff and palms her they grasp [the] spindle.

20 ૨૦ તે ગરીબોને ઉદારતાથી આપે છે; અને જરૂરિયાતમંદોને છૂટે હાથે મદદ કરે છે.

Palm her she spreads out to poor [person] and hands her she stretches out to the needy [person].

21 ૨૧ તેના કુટુંબના સભ્યોને માટે તે શિયાળાની કશી બીક રહેવા દેતી નથી, તેના આખા કુટુંબે ઊનનાં કિરમજી વસ્ત્ર પહેરેલાં છે.

Not she is afraid for household her from snow for all household her [is] clothed scarlet.

22 ૨૨ તે પોતાને માટે બુટ્ટાદાર રજાઈઓ બનાવે છે, તેના વસ્ત્રો ઝીણા શણનાં તથા જાંબુડા રંગનાં છે.

Coverings she makes for herself [is] fine linen and purple clothing her.

23 ૨૩ તેનો પતિ નગર દરવાજે આદર પામે છે, અને દેશનાં મુખ્ય આગેવાનોમાં તે પ્રતિષ્ઠિત છે.

[is] known In the gates husband her when sits he with [the] elders of [the] land.

24 ૨૪ તે શણનાં વસ્ત્રો બનાવીને વેપારીઓને વેચે છે અને તેઓને કમરબંધ બનાવી આપે છે.

Linen garment[s] she makes and she sold and a belt she supplies to the merchants.

25 ૨૫ શક્તિ અને સન્માન તેનો પોશાક છે. અને તે ભવિષ્ય વિષેની ચિંતાને હસી કાઢે છે.

[is] strength And honor clothing her and she laughed to a day future.

26 ૨૬ તેના મોંમાંથી ડહાપણની વાતો નીકળે છે, તેના જીભનો નિયમ માયાળુપણું છે.

Mouth her she opens with wisdom and instruction of loyalty [is] on tongue her.

27 ૨૭ તે પોતાના ઘરમાં બધા કામની દેખરેખ રાખે છે અને તે કદી આળસની રોટલી ખાતી નથી.

[she is] watching over [the] ways of Household her and [the] bread of laziness not she eats.

28 ૨૮ તે પોતાના ઘરના માણસોની વર્તનની બરાબર તપાસ રાખે છે; અને તેના પતિ તેના વખાણ કરે છે અને પ્રશંસા કરતાં કહે છે કે,

They rise up sons her and they called blessed her husband her and he praised her.

29 ૨૯ “જગતમાં ઘણી સદાચારી સ્ત્રીઓ છે, પણ તું તે સર્વ કરતાં ઉત્તમ છે.”

Many daughters they have done ability and you you have gone up above all of them.

30 ૩૦ લાવણ્ય ઠગારું છે અને સૌંદર્ય વ્યર્થ છે, પરંતુ યહોવાહનો ડર રાખનાર સ્ત્રીની પ્રંશસા થશે.

[is] deception Grace and [is] vanity beauty a woman fearing Yahweh she she will be praised.

31 ૩૧ તેના હાથની પેદાશમાંથી તેને આપો અને તેના કામોને માટે ભાગળોમાં તેની પ્રશંસા કરો.

Give to her some of [the] fruit of hands her and let them praise her in the gates work her.
