1 ૧ જો કોઈનું અર્પણ શાંત્યર્પણનો યજ્ઞ હોય અને જો તે જાનવર ચઢાવે, પછી તે નર હોય કે નારી હોય, તો યહોવાહ પ્રત્યે તે ખોડખાંપણ વગરનું ચઢાવે.
[“Also tell the people], ‘When the offering that you bring to Yahweh is to maintain good fellowship [with him], you may bring a bull or a cow from your herd [of cattle], but what you present to Yahweh must be an animal that has no defects.
2 ૨ તે પોતાના અર્પણના માથા પર પોતાનો હાથ મૂકે અને મુલાકાતમંડપના દ્વાર પાસે તેને કાપે. પછી યાજકો, એટલે હારુનના પુત્રો તેનું રક્ત વેદીની ચારે બાજુએ છાંટે.
You must bring the animal to the entrance to the Sacred Tent. You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it [and drain some of its blood in a bowl]. Then one of Aaron’s sons, one of the priests, will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.
3 ૩ તે શાંત્યર્પણના યજ્ઞમાંથી યહોવાહ પ્રત્યે હોમયજ્ઞ ચઢાવે. આંતરડાની આસપાસની ચરબી તથા આંતરડાં પરની બધી ચરબી,
From that offering, you must offer to Yahweh, as a sacrifice that will be burned in the fire, all the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal, or which is attached to them—
4 ૪ બન્ને મૂત્રપિંડ તથા તે પરની ચરબી જાંઘો પાસે હોય છે તે તથા મૂત્રપિંડ સાથે કલેજા પરનું ચરબીનું પડ તે કાઢી લે.
the kidneys and the fat that is attached to them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
5 ૫ હારુનના પુત્રો વેદી પરના અગ્નિ પર લાકડા ઉપરના દહનીયાર્પણ પર તેનું દહન કરે. તે યહોવાહને માટે સુવાસિત હોમયજ્ઞ છે.
Then one of the priests will burn those things on the altar, along with the other parts of the animal that will be completely burned to be an offering [to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh.
6 ૬ જો કોઈ માણસ શાંત્યર્પણ તરીકે ઘેટાંબકરાંને યહોવાહ સમક્ષ લાવે, પછી તે નર હોય કે નારી હોય, તો તે શાંત્યર્પણ ખોડખાંપણ વગરનું ચઢાવે.
If that offering to maintain good fellowship with Yahweh is a sheep or a goat, it must also be an animal that has no defects.
If you offer a lamb, you must present it to Yahweh [at the entrance to the Sacred Tent]. You must lay your hands on the lamb’s head and then slaughter it. [‘You must drain some of its blood in a bowl].
8 ૮ તે પોતાના અર્પણના માથા પર પોતાનો હાથ મૂકે અને મુલાકાતમંડપની આગળ તેને કાપે. પછી હારુનના પુત્રોએ તેનું રક્ત વેદીની ચારે બાજુએ છાંટવું.
Then one of the priests will sprinkle that blood against all sides of the altar.
9 ૯ શાંત્યર્પણના યજ્ઞમાંથી તે યહોવાહને સારુ હોમયજ્ઞ ચઢાવે. તેની ચરબી, તેની પુષ્ટ પૂછડી આખી અને આખી કરોડના હાડકાની લગોલગથી તે કાપી લે અને આંતરડાની આસપાસની ચરબી તથા આંતરડા પરની સઘળી ચરબી,
You must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: Its fat, the fat tail that you must cut off close to the backbone, and all the fat that covers the inner parts of the lamb or which is attached to them—
10 ૧૦ બન્ને મૂત્રપિંડો તથા તેની પરની કમર પાસેની ચરબી અને મૂત્રપિંડ સાથે કલેજા પરનું અંતરપડ તે કાઢી લે.
the kidneys with the fat that is on them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
One of the priests will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh].
‘If your offering is a goat, you must take/present it to Yahweh.
13 ૧૩ તે બકરાના માથા પર પોતાનો હાથ મૂકે અને મુલાકાતમંડપની આગળ તેને કાપે. પછી હારુનના પુત્રોએ તેનું રક્ત વેદીની ચારે બાજુએ છાંટવું.
You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it in front of the Sacred Tent. Then one of Aaron’s sons will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.
14 ૧૪ તે માણસ અગ્નિથી પોતાનું અર્પણ યહોવાહને માટે ચઢાવે. તે આંતરડાની આસપાસની ચરબી તથા આંતરડા પરની સઘળી ચરબી કાઢી લે.
From that offering you must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: All the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal or which is attached to them,
15 ૧૫ બન્ને મૂત્રપિંડો અને તેની પરની કમર પાસેની ચરબી, મૂત્રપિંડો પાસે કલેજા પરનું અંતરપડ તે કાઢી લે.
the kidneys with the fat that is on them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
16 ૧૬ આ તમામનું યાજકે શાંત્યર્પણ તરીકે દહન કરવું, તે સુવાસને સારુ હોમયજ્ઞરૂપ ખાદ્ય પદાર્થ છે. સઘળી ચરબી યહોવાહની છે.
The priest will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh. All the fat [of the animals that are sacrificed] belongs to Yahweh.
17 ૧૭ તમારી વંશપરંપરા તમારાં સઘળાં રહેઠાણોમાં એ હંમેશને માટે તમારો વિધિ થાય, એટલે ચરબી કે રક્ત તમારે ખાવાં જ નહિ.’”
‘This is a command that must be obeyed by you and your descendants forever, wherever you live: You must not eat the fat or the blood [of any animal].’”
