યહોશુઆ 13
1 ૧ હવે યહોશુઆ ઘણો વયોવૃદ્ધ થયો, ત્યારે યહોવાહ તેને કહ્યું, “તું વયોવૃદ્ધ થયો છે, પણ વતન કરી લેવાની ઘણી ભૂમિ હજી બાકી છે.
Nowe when Ioshua was olde, and striken in yeeres, the Lord said vnto him, Thou art olde and growen in age, and there remaineth exceeding much land to be possessed:
This is the land that remaineth, all the regions of the Philistims, and all Geshuri,
3 ૩ જે મિસરની પૂર્વમાં શિહોરથી, ઉત્તરે એક્રોનની સરહદ સુધી. તે કનાનીઓની સંપત્તિ ગણાય છે; પલિસ્તીઓના પાંચ શાસકો ગાઝીઓ, આશ્દોદીઓ, આશ્કેલોનીઓ, ગિત્તીઓ અને એક્રોનીઓનો જે આવ્વીઓના પ્રદેશ છે.
From Nilus which is in Egypt, euen vnto the borders of Ekron Northward: this is counted of the Canaanites, euen fiue Lordships of the Philistims, the Azzithites, and the Ashdodites, the Eshkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites, and the Auites:
4 ૪ દક્ષિણમાં, આવ્વીઓનો પ્રદેશ, કનાનીઓનો આખો પ્રદેશ અને સિદોનીઓના મારા અને અફેક સુધી એટલે અમોરીઓની સરહદ સુધી;
From the South, all the land of the Canaanites, and the caue that is beside the Sidonians, vnto Aphek, and to the borders of the Amorites:
And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunne rising from Bahal-gad vnder mount Hermon, vntil one come to Hamath.
6 ૬ લબાનોનથી તે દૂર સુધી મિસ્રેફોથ-માઇમ સુધી પર્વતીય દેશના સઘળાં રહેવાસીઓ એટલે સિદોનના સઘળાં લોકો સહિત તેઓને હું ઇઝરાયલના સૈન્યની આગળથી કાઢી મૂકીશ. પણ યાદ રાખ કે મેં જેમ તને આજ્ઞા આપી છે તેમ તે દેશ ઇઝરાયલીઓને વારસા તરીકે તેમનાં કુળ પ્રમાણે વહેંચી આપ.
All the inhabitants of the mountaines from Lebanon vnto Misrephothmaim, and all the Sidonians, I wil cast them out from before the children of Israel: only deuide thou it by lot vnto the Israelites, to inherite, as I haue commanded thee.
Nowe therefore deuide this lande to inherite, vnto the nine tribes, and to the halfe tribe of Manasseh.
8 ૮ મનાશ્શાના બીજા અર્ધ કુળ સાથે રુબેનીઓને તથા ગાદીઓને તેમનો વારસો મળ્યો. મૂસાએ તેઓને યર્દનની પૂર્વ બાજુએ તે હિસ્સો આપ્યો.
For with halfe therof the Reubenites and the Gadites haue receiued their inheritance, which Moses gaue them beyond Iorden Eastward, euen as Moses the seruant of the Lord had giuen them,
9 ૯ તે આર્નોનની ખીણની સરહદ પરના અરોએરથી અને જે નગર ખીણની મધ્યે છે ત્યાંથી, મેદબાનો આખો સપાટ પ્રદેશ, દીબોન સુધી.
From Aroer that is on the brinke of the riuer Arnon, and from the citie that is in the mids of the riuer, and all the plaine of Medeba vnto Dibon,
10 ૧૦ સીહોનનાં બધાં નગરો, અમોરીઓનો રાજા, જે હેશ્બોનમાં રાજ કરતો હતો તેના સઘળાં નગરો, આમ્મોનીઓની સરહદ સુધી;
And all the cities of Sihon King of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, vnto the borders of the children of Ammon,
And Gilead, and the borders of the Geshurites and of the Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, with all Bashan vnto Salcah:
12 ૧૨ બાશાનના ઓગનું આખું રાજ્ય, જે આશ્તારોથ અને એડ્રેઇમાં રાજ કરતો હતો આ જે રફાઈઓમાંના બાકી રહેલા હતા તેઓને મૂસાએ તલવારથી મારીને હાંકી કાઢ્યાં હતા.
All the kingdome of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei: (who remained of the rest of the gyants) for these did Moses smite, and cast them out.
13 ૧૩ પણ ઇઝરાયલના લોકોએ ગશૂરીઓને કે માખાથીઓને કાઢી મૂક્યા નહિ. તેના બદલે, ગશૂરીઓ અને માખાથીઓ આજ દિન સુધી ઇઝરાયલ મધ્યે રહ્યા.
But the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites nor the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites euen vnto this day.
14 ૧૪ કેવળ લેવીના કુળને મૂસાએ વારસો આપ્યો નહિ. જેમ યહોવાહ મૂસાને કહ્યું હતું તેમ “ઇઝરાયલના પ્રભુ, યહોવાહને અપાયેલા અર્પણો જે અગ્નિથી કરવામાં આવે છે,” તે જ તેઓનો વારસો છે.
Onely vnto the tribe of Leui he gaue none inheritance, but the sacrifices of the Lord God of Israel are his inheritance, as he said vnto him.
Moses then gaue vnto the tribe of the children of Reuben inheritance, according to their families.
16 ૧૬ તેઓની હદ આર્નોનની ખીણની સરહદ પરનું અરોએર તથા જે શહેર તે ખીણની મધ્યે છે, ત્યાંથી મેદબા પાસેના આખા સપાટ પ્રદેશ સુધી હતી.
And their coast was from Aroer, that is on the brinke of the riuer Arnon, and from the citie that is in the middes of the riuer, and all the plaine which is by Medeba:
17 ૧૭ રુબેનીઓને આ પણ પ્રાપ્ત થયું એટલે, હેશ્બોન તથા પર્વતીય પ્રદેશમાંનાં તેના સર્વ નગરો, દીબોન, બામોથ-બાલ તથા બેથ-બાલમેઓન,
Heshbon with all the cities thereof, that are in the plaine: Dibon and Bamoth-baal, and Bethbaal-meon:
And Iahazah, and Kedemoth and Mephaath:
Kiriathaim also, and Sibmah, and Zerethshahar in the mount of Emek:
And Beth-peor, and Ashdoth-pisgah, and Beth-ieshimoth:
21 ૨૧ સપાટ પ્રદેશનાં સર્વ નગરો, અમોરીઓના રાજા સીહોનનું આખું રાજ્ય; તે હેશ્બોનમાં રાજ કરતો હતો જેને મૂસાએ માર્યો હતો. અને તે દેશમાં રહેનારા મિદ્યાનના આગેવાનો સાથે, અવી, રેકેમ, સૂર, હૂર, તથા રેબાના શાસકોને અને સીહોનના રાજકુમારોને માર્યા હતા.
And all the cities of the plaine: and all the kingdome of Sihon King of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, whome Moses smote with the Princes of Midian, Eui, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the dukes of Sihon, dwelling in the countrey.
22 ૨૨ જેઓને ઇઝરાયલી લોકોએ માર્યા, તેઓમાં બેઓરના દીકરા બલામ શકુન જોનારને પણ તેઓએ તલવારથી મારી નાખ્યો.
And Balaam the sonne of Beor the soothsayer did the children of Israel slay with the sword, among them that were slaine.
23 ૨૩ યર્દન નદી તથા તેનો કાંઠો એ રુબેનીઓના કુળની સરહદ હતી; આ રુબેનીઓના વતનનાં નગરો તથા ગામો તેઓનાં કુટુંબ પ્રમાણે એ છે.
And the border of the children of Reuben was Iorden with the coastes. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, with the cities and their villages.
Also Moses gaue inheritance vnto ye tribe of Gad, euen vnto the children of Gad according to their families.
25 ૨૫ આ તેમનો વિસ્તાર હતો એટલે યાઝેર તથા ગિલ્યાદના સઘળાં નગરો તથા આમ્મોનીઓનો અડધો દેશ, જે અરોએર સુધી રાબ્બાની પૂર્વમાં છે.
And their coastes were Iazer, and all the cities of Gilead and halfe the lande of the children of Ammon vnto Aroer, which is before Rabbah:
And from Heshbon vnto Ramoth, Mizpeh, and Betonim: and from Mahanaim vnto the borders of Debir:
27 ૨૭ અને ખીણમાં, બેથ-હારામ તથા બેથ-નિમ્રાહ, સુક્કોથ, અને સાફોન, એટલે હેશ્બોનના રાજા સીહોનનું બાકી રહેલું રાજ્ય, યર્દનનો કિનારો, યર્દન પાર પૂર્વમાં કિન્નેરેથ સમુદ્રના છેડા સુધી મૂસાએ તેઓને આપ્યાં.
And in the valley Beth-aram, and Bethnimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdome of Sihon King of Heshbon, vnto Iorden and the borders euen vnto the Sea coast of Cinneereth, beyond Iorden Eastward.
This is the inheritance of the children of Gad, after their families, with the cities, and their villages.
29 ૨૯ મૂસાએ મનાશ્શાના અડધા કુળને વારસો આપ્યો. તે મનાશ્શાના લોકોના અડધા કુળને, એક એકને તેમના કુળ પ્રમાણે વારસો આપ્યો.
Also Moses gaue inheritance vnto the halfe tribe of Manasseh: and this belonged to the halfe tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families.
30 ૩૦ તેઓનો પ્રદેશ માહનાઇમથી હતો, એટલે આખો બાશાન, બાશાનના રાજા ઓગનું આખું રાજ્ય અને બાશાનમાં યાઈરનાં સર્વ નગરો, એટલે સાઠ નગરો,
And their border was from Mahanaim, euen all Bashan, to wit, all the kingdome of Og King of Bashan, and all the townes of Iair which are in Bashan, threescore cities,
31 ૩૧ અડધો ગિલ્યાદ તથા આશ્તારોથ તથા એડ્રેઇ, બાશાનમાં ઓગનાં ભવ્ય નગરો. એ મનાશ્શાના પુત્ર માખીરના પુત્રોને માટે એટલે તેઓનાં કુટુંબો પ્રમાણે માખીરના પુત્રોના અડધા ભાગને માટે હતાં.
And halfe Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were giuen vnto the children of Machir the sonne of Manasseh, to halfe of the children of Machir after their families.
These are the heritages, which Moses did distribute in the plaine of Moab beyond Iorden, toward Iericho Eastward.
33 ૩૩ પણ લેવીના કુળને મૂસાએ કંઈ વારસો આપ્યો નહિ. તેણે તેઓને કહ્યું કે, તેઓનો વારસો ઇઝરાયલના પ્રભુ, યહોવાહ, છે.
But vnto the tribe of Leui Moses gaue none inheritance: for the Lord God of Israel is their inheritance, as he said vnto them.
