After these things, Yeshua went away to the other side of the lake of Galila, which is also called Lake Tiberias.
2 ૨ ત્યાં લોકોનો મોટો સમુદાય તેમની પાછળ ગયો; કેમ કે તેમણે જે ચમત્કારિક ચિહ્નો બીમાર લોકો પર કર્યા હતા, તે તેઓએ જોયા હતા.
A large crowd followed him, because they saw the signs which he did on those who were sick.
Yeshua went up into the mountain, and he sat there with his disciples.
Now the Passover, the Jewish festival, was near.
5 ૫ માટે ઈસુ ઊંચી નજર કરીને પોતાની પાસે આવતા મોટા સમુદાયને જોઈને ફિલિપને પૂછે છે કે, ‘તેમના ભોજનને માટે આપણે રોટલી ક્યાંથી વેચાતી લઈએ?’”
Yeshua therefore lifting up his eyes, and seeing that a large crowd was coming to him, said to Philipus, "Where are we to buy bread, that these may eat?"
6 ૬ જોકે ઈસુએ ફિલિપને પારખવા માટે એ પૂછ્યું હતું; કેમ કે ઈસુ પોતે શું કરવાના હતા તે તે પોતે જાણતા હતા.
This he said to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.
7 ૭ ફિલિપે તેમને જવાબ આપ્યો, ‘બસો દીનારની રોટલી તેઓને સારુ પૂરતી નથી કે, તેઓમાંના દરેકને થોડું થોડું મળે.’”
Philipus answered him, "Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that everyone of them may receive a little."
One of his disciples, Andreus, Shimon Kipha's brother, said to him,
9 ૯ ‘એક જુવાન અહીં છે, તેની પાસે જવની પાંચ રોટલી અને બે માછલી છે; પણ તે આટલાં બધાને કેવી રીતે પૂરાં પડે?’”
"There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these among so many?"
10 ૧૦ ઈસુએ કહ્યું કે, ‘લોકોને બેસાડો.’ તે જગ્યાએ ઘણું ઘાસ હતું. અને તેઓ બેસી ગયા, પુરુષોની સંખ્યા આશરે પાંચ હજારની હતી.
Yeshua said, "Have the people sit down." Now there was much grass in that place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
11 ૧૧ ત્યારે ઈસુએ તે રોટલીઓ લીધી અને સ્તુતિ કરીને બેઠેલાઓને વહેંચી; માછલીઓમાંથી પણ જેટલું જોઈએ તેટલું વહેચ્યું.
Yeshua took the loaves; and having given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to those who were sitting down; likewise also of the fish as much as they desired.
12 ૧૨ તેઓ તૃપ્ત થયા પછી ઈસુ પોતાના શિષ્યોને કહે છે કે, ‘કંઈ નકામું ન જાય માટે વધેલા ટુકડાં એકઠા કરો.’”
When they were filled, he said to his disciples, "Gather up the broken pieces which are left over, that nothing be lost."
13 ૧૩ માટે તેઓએ તે એકઠા કર્યા અને તે જવની પાંચ રોટલીમાંના જે વધેલા ટુકડાં જમનારાંઓએ રહેવા દીધાં હતા, તેઓની બાર ટોપલી ભરી.
So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves, which were left over by those who had eaten.
14 ૧૪ માટે તે લોકોએ ઈસુએ કરેલું એ ચમત્કારિક ચિહ્ન જોઈને કહ્યું કે, ‘જે પ્રબોધક દુનિયામાં આવનાર છે, તે ખરેખર આ જ છે.’”
When therefore the people saw the sign which he did, they said, "This is truly the Prophet who comes into the world."
15 ૧૫ લોકો આવીને મને રાજા બનાવવા માટે જબરદસ્તીથી પકડવાના છે, એ જાણીને ઈસુ બીજી વાર પહાડ પર એકલા ચાલ્યા ગયા.
Yeshua therefore, perceiving that they were about to come and take him by force, to make him king, withdrew again to the mountain by himself.
When evening came, his disciples went down to the lake,
17 ૧૭ હોડીમાં બેસીને તેઓ કપરનાહૂમ જવાને સમુદ્રના સામેના કિનારે જતા હતા. તે સમયે અંધારું થયું હતું અને ઈસુ હજી તેઓની પાસે આવ્યા ન હતા.
and they entered into the boat, and were going over the lake to Kepharnakhum. It was now dark, and Yeshua had not yet come to them.
The lake was tossed by a great wind blowing.
19 ૧૯ જયારે તેઓ હલેસાં મારીને આશરે પાંચ કે છ કિલોમિટર ગયા, ત્યારે ઈસુને સમુદ્ર પર ચાલતા અને હોડીની પાસે આવતા જોઈને તેઓ ગભરાઈ ગયા.
When therefore they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Yeshua walking on the lake, and drawing near to the boat; and they were afraid.
But he said to them, "It is I. Do not be afraid."
They were willing therefore to receive him into the boat. Immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.
22 ૨૨ બીજે દિવસે, જે લોકો સમુદ્રને પેલે કિનારે ઊભા રહ્યા હતા તેઓએ જોયું કે, એક હોડી વિના બીજી તે સ્થળે ન હતી. અને તે હોડીમાં ઈસુ પોતાના શિષ્યો સાથે ગયા ન હતા, પણ એકલા તેમના શિષ્યો ગયા હતા.
On the next day, the crowd that stood on the other side of the lake saw that there was no other boat there, except one, and that Yeshua had not entered with his disciples into the boat, but his disciples had gone away alone.
23 ૨૩ તોપણ જ્યાં પ્રભુએ આભાર માન્યા પછી તેઓએ રોટલી ખાધી હતી, તે સ્થળ પાસેના તિબેરિયસથી બીજી હોડીઓ આવી.
Other boats from Tiberias came near to the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks.
24 ૨૪ માટે જયારે તે લોકોએ જોયું કે ઈસુ તેમ જ તેમના શિષ્યો તે સ્થળે નથી, ત્યારે તેઓ પોતે હોડીઓમાં બેસીને ઈસુની શોધ કરતા કરતા કપરનાહૂમ આવ્યા.
When the crowd therefore saw that Yeshua was not there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats, and came to Kepharnakhum, seeking Yeshua.
When they found him on the other side of the lake, they asked him, "Rabbi, when did you come here?"
26 ૨૬ ઈસુએ તેઓને જવાબ આપ્યો કે, ‘હું તમને નિશ્ચે કહું છું કે, તમે ચમત્કારિક ચિહ્નો જોયા તે માટે મને શોધતાં નથી, પણ તમે રોટલી ખાઈને તૃપ્ત થયા તે માટે શોધો છો.
Yeshua answered them, "Truly, truly, I tell you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves, and were filled.
27 ૨૭ જે ખોરાક નાશવંત છે તેને માટે નહિ, પણ જે ખોરાક અનંતજીવન સુધી ટકે છે, જે માણસનો દીકરો તમને આપશે, તેને માટે મહેનત કરો; કેમ કે ઈશ્વરપિતાએ તેના પર મહોર કરી છે.’” (aiōnios g166)
Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him." (aiōnios g166)
They said therefore to him, "What must we do, that we may work the works of God?"
Yeshua answered them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent."
30 ૩૦ માટે તેઓએ તેમને કહ્યું, “તમે કયું ચમત્કારિક ચિહ્ન દેખાડો છો કે અમે તે જોઈને તમારા પર વિશ્વાસ કરીએ? તમે શું કામ કરો છો?
They said therefore to him, "What then do you do for a sign, that we may see, and believe you? What work do you do?
31 ૩૧ અમારા પૂર્વજોએ તો અરણ્યમાં માન્ના ખાધું, જેમ લખેલું છે કે, તેમણે સ્વર્ગમાંથી તેઓને ખાવાને રોટલી આપી.”
Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness. As it is written, 'He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.'"
32 ૩૨ ત્યારે ઈસુએ તેઓને કહ્યું, ‘હું તમને નિશ્ચે કહું છું કે, ‘તે રોટલી મૂસાએ સ્વર્ગમાંથી તમને આપી નથી, પણ સ્વર્ગમાંથી જે ખરી રોટલી આવે છે, તે મારા પિતા તમને આપે છે.
Yeshua therefore said to them, "Truly, truly, I tell you, it was not Mushe who gave you the bread out of heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread out of heaven.
For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world."
They said therefore to him, "Lord, always give us this bread."
35 ૩૫ ઈસુએ તેઓને કહ્યું, ‘જીવનની રોટલી હું છું; જે મારી પાસે આવે છે તેને ભૂખ નહિ જ લાગશે અને જે મારા પર વિશ્વાસ કરે છે, તેને કદી તરસ નહિ જ લાગશે.
Yeshua said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.
But I told you that you have seen me, and yet you do not believe.
All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. Him who comes to me I will in no way throw out.
38 ૩૮ કેમ કે હું મારી પોતાની ઇચ્છા નહિ, પણ જેમણે મને મોકલ્યો છે તેમની ઇચ્છા પૂરી કરવાને સ્વર્ગથી ઊતર્યો છું.
For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.
39 ૩૯ જેમણે મને મોકલ્યો છે તેમની ઇચ્છા એ છે કે, તેમણે મને જે સર્વ આપ્યું છે, તેમાંથી હું કંઈ ખોઉં નહીં, પણ છેલ્લાં દિવસે તેને પાછું ઉઠાડું.
This is the will of him who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day.
40 ૪૦ કેમ કે મારા પિતાની ઇચ્છા એ છે કે, જે કોઈ દીકરાને જોઈને તેના પર વિશ્વાસ કરશે, તેને અનંતજીવન મળશે; અને છેલ્લાં દિવસે હું તેને પાછો સજીવન કરીશ.’” (aiōnios g166)
This is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day." (aiōnios g166)
41 ૪૧ એ માટે યહૂદીઓએ તેમને વિષે બડબડાટ કર્યો; કેમ કે તેમણે કહ્યું હતું કે, ‘સ્વર્ગમાંથી ઊતરેલી રોટલી હું છું.’”
The Jewish people therefore murmured concerning him, because he said, "I am the bread which came down out of heaven."
42 ૪૨ તેઓએ કહ્યું કે, ‘યૂસફનો દીકરો, ઈસુ જેનાં માતાપિતાને અમે ઓળખીએ છીએ, તે શું એ જ નથી? ત્યારે તે હમણાં એમ કેમ કહે છે કે, સ્વર્ગમાંથી હું ઊતર્યો છું?’”
They said, "Is not this Yeshua, the son of Yauseph, whose father and mother we know? How then does he say, 'I have come down out of heaven?'"
Therefore Yeshua answered them, "Do not murmur among yourselves.
44 ૪૪ જે મારા પિતાએ મને મોકલ્યો છે, તેમના તેડ્યાં વગર કોઈ મનુષ્ય મારી પાસે આવી શકતો નથી; અને છેલ્લાં દિવસે હું તેને પાછો સજીવન કરીશ.
No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day.
45 ૪૫ પ્રબોધકના પુસ્તકમાં એમ લખેલું છે કે, ‘તેઓ સઘળા ઈશ્વરથી શીખેલા થશે. તો જે કોઈ પિતાની પાસેથી સાંભળીને શીખ્યો છે, તે મારી પાસે આવે છે.
It is written in the Prophets, 'And they will all be taught by God.' Therefore everyone who hears and learns from the Father comes to me.
Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is from God. He has seen the Father.
Truly, truly, I tell you, he who believes has everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
I am the bread of life.
Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died.
This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die.
51 ૫૧ સ્વર્ગમાંથી ઊતરેલી જીવનની રોટલી હું છું; જો કોઈ એ રોટલી ખાય, તો તે સદા જીવતો રહેશે; જે રોટલી હું આપીશ તે મારું માંસ છે, તે માનવજગતના જીવનને માટે હું આપીશ.’” (aiōn g165)
I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh." (aiōn g165)
52 ૫૨ તે માટે યહૂદીઓએ અંદરોઅંદર વાદવિવાદ કરતાં કહ્યું કે, ‘એ માણસ પોતાનું માંસ આપણને ખાવાને શી રીતે આપી શકે?’”
The Jews therefore argued with one another, saying, "How can this one give us flesh to eat?"
53 ૫૩ ત્યારે ઈસુએ તેઓને કહ્યું કે, ‘હું તમને નિશ્ચે કહું છું કે, જો તમે માણસના દીકરાનું માંસ ન ખાઓ અને તેનું રક્ત ન પીઓ, તો તમારામાં જીવન નથી.
Yeshua therefore said to them, "Truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life in yourselves.
54 ૫૪ જે કોઈ મારું માંસ ખાય છે અને મારું રક્ત પીવે છે, તેને અનંતજીવન છે; છેલ્લાં દિવસે હું તેને પાછો સજીવન કરીશ. (aiōnios g166)
He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (aiōnios g166)
For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.
57 ૫૭ જેમ જીવતા પિતાએ મને મોકલ્યો છે અને હું પિતા દ્વારા જીવું છું; તેમ જે મને ખાય છે, તે પણ મારે સહારે જીવશે.
As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father; so he who feeds on me, he will also live because of me.
58 ૫૮ જે રોટલી સ્વર્ગમાંથી ઊતરી તે એ જ છે; જેમ તમારા પૂર્વજો ખાઈને મૃત્યુ પામ્યા તેવી રોટલી એ નથી; પણ આ રોટલી જે ખાય છે, તે સદા જીવતો રહેશે.’” (aiōn g165)
This is the bread which came down out of heaven--not as the fathers ate, and died. He who eats this bread will live forever." (aiōn g165)
He said these things in the synagogue, as he taught in Kepharnakhum.
Therefore many of his disciples, when they heard this, said, "This is a hard saying. Who can listen to it?"
61 ૬૧ પણ મારા શિષ્યો જ તે વિષે કચકચ કરે છે એ ઈસુએ પોતાના મનમાં જાણીને તેઓને કહ્યું કે, ‘શું તમને આ વાતથી માઠું લાગ્યું છે?
But Yeshua knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said to them, "Does this cause you to stumble?
Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
63 ૬૩ જે જીવાડે છે તે આત્મા છે; શરીરથી કંઈ લાભ થતો નથી. જે બાબતો મેં તમને કહી છે, તે આત્મા તથા જીવન છે.
It is the Spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.
64 ૬૪ પણ તમારામાંના કેટલાક વિશ્વાસ કરતા નથી.’ કેમ કે કોણ અવિશ્વાસી છે અને કોણ તેમને પરસ્વાધીન કરવાનો છે, તે ઈસુ પહેલેથી જાણતા હતા.
But there are some of you who do not believe." For Yeshua knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.
65 ૬૫ તેમણે કહ્યું કે, ‘મેં એ જ કારણથી તમને કહ્યું કે, પિતા તરફથી તેને આપવામાં આવ્યું ન હોય તો કોઈ મારી પાસે આવી શકતો નથી.’”
He said, "For this cause have I said to you that no one can come to me, unless it is given to him by the Father."
At this, many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
Yeshua said therefore to the twelve, "You do not also want to go away, do you?"
68 ૬૮ સિમોન પિતરે તેમને જવાબ આપ્યો કે, ‘પ્રભુ, અમે કોની પાસે જઈએ? અનંતજીવનની વાતો તો તમારી પાસે છે. (aiōnios g166)
Shimon Kipha answered him, "Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
We have come to believe and know that you are the Holy One of God."
70 ૭૦ ઈસુએ તેઓને જવાબ આપ્યો કે, ‘શું મેં તમો બારને પસંદ નહોતા કર્યા? પણ તમારામાંની એક વ્યક્તિ તો શેતાન છે.’”
Yeshua answered them, "Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?"
71 ૭૧ તેમણે તો સિમોનના દીકરા યહૂદા ઇશ્કારિયોત વિષે તે કહ્યું; કેમ કે તે, બાર શિષ્યોમાંનો હોવા છતાં, તેમને પરાધીન કરનાર હતો.
Now he spoke of Yehudah, the son of Shimon Sekariuta, for it was he who would betray him, being one of the twelve.
