યશાયા 56
1 ૧ યહોવાહ એવું કહે છે, “ન્યાયનું પાલન કરો, પ્રામાણિકપણે વર્તો; કેમ કે મારું તારણ પાસે છે અને મારું ન્યાયીપણું પ્રગટ થશે.
Thus, saith Yahweh, Observe ye justice, And execute righteousness, —For near, is My salvation, to come in, and My righteousness to be revealed.
2 ૨ જે માણસ એ પ્રમાણે વર્તે છે અને જે તેને ચુસ્ત રીતે વળગી રહે છે, જે વિશ્રામવારને અપવિત્ર ન કરતાં તેને પાળે છે અને ભૂંડું કરવાથી પોતાનો હાથ પાછો રાખે છે તે આશીર્વાદિત છે.”
How happy the frail man, who doeth this! Yea the son of the earth-born who firmly graspeth it! Keeping the sabbath lest he profane it, and Keeping his own hand from doing any wrong.
3 ૩ વળી જે પરદેશી યહોવાહનો અનુયાયી બનેલો છે તે એવું ન કહે કે, “યહોવાહ મને પોતાના લોકથી નિશ્ચે જુદો પાડશે.” કોઈ ખોજાએ એમ ન કહેવું કે, “જુઓ, હું તો સુકાયેલુ ઝાડ છું.”
And let not the son of the foreigner, who hath joined himself unto Yahweh, speak, saying, Yahweh, will separate, me from his people, Neither let the eunuch, say, Lo! I, am a tree dried up!
4 ૪ કેમ કે “જે ખોજાઓ મારા વિશ્રામવારો પાળે છે અને જે મને ગમે છે તેને પસંદ કરે છે તથા મારા કરારને દૃઢતાથી વળગી રહે છે, તેઓ વિષે યહોવાહ કહે છે -
For thus, saith Yahweh—Of the eunuchs, Who shall keep my sabbaths, And choose what I delight in, —And lay firm hold on my covenant,
5 ૫ તેમને તો હું મારા ઘરમાં તથા મારા કોટમાં દીકરા તથા દીકરીઓ કરતાં ઉત્તમ સ્મારક તરીકે સ્થાપીશ; જે નષ્ટ થાય નહિ એવું અનંતકાળનું સ્મારક હું તેને આપીશ.”
That I will give unto them—In my house, And within my walls, A sign and a name, better than sons and daughters, —A name age-abiding, will I give him, which shall not be cut off.
6 ૬ વળી જે પરદેશીઓ જોડાયાં છે કે તેઓ યહોવાહની સેવા કરવા માટે અને જેઓ યહોવાહના નામ પર પ્રેમ કરે છે, તેમની આરાધના કરે છે તે, દરેક જે કોઈ વિશ્રામવારને અપવિત્ર ન કરતાં તેને પાળે છે અને જે મારા કરારને દૃઢતાથી વળગી રહે છે -
And, as for the sons of the foreigner—Who have joined themselves unto Yahweh To wait upon him, and To love the name of Yahweh, To become his for servants, —Every one who keepeth the sabbath, lest he profane it. And who, layeth firm hold on my covenant,
7 ૭ તેઓને હું મારા પવિત્ર પર્વત પર લાવીશ અને મારા પ્રાર્થનાના ઘરમાં તેઓને આનંદ કરાવીશ; તેઓનાં દહનીયાર્પણો તથા તેઓનાં બલિદાનો મારી વેદી પર માન્ય થશે, કેમ કે મારું ઘર તે સર્વ દેશનાઓ માટે પ્રાર્થનાનું ઘર કહેવાશે.
Surely I will bring them into my holy mountain And make them joyful in my house of prayer, Their ascending-offerings and their sacrifices, being accepted upon mine altar, —For, my house, a house of prayer, shall be called, for all the peoples!
8 ૮ પ્રભુ યહોવાહ જે ઇઝરાયલનાં વિખેરાઈ ગયેલાઓને ભેગા કરે છે તે એવું કહે છે: “તેના ભેગા થયેલા ઉપરાંત હું હજી તેની પાસે બીજાઓને લાવીને ભેગા કરીશ.”
Declareth My Lord, Yahweh, Who is gathering the outcasts of Israel: —Yet others, will I gather unto him Besides his own gathered ones.
All ye beasts of the field! come ye to devour, All ye beasts in the forest.
10 ૧૦ તેઓના સર્વ ચોકીદારો અંધ છે; તેઓ સમજતા નથી; તેઓ સર્વ મૂંગા કૂતરા છે; જે ભસી શકતા નથી: તેઓ સપનાં જુએ છે, સૂઈ રહેનારા, ઊંઘણશી છે.
His watchmen, are blind None of them, know, All of them, are dumb dogs, they cannot bark, —Dreaming, sleeping, loving to slumber.
11 ૧૧ તેઓ ખાઉધરા કૂતરા છે; તેઓ કદી ધરાતા નથી; તેઓ બુદ્ધિ વિનાના ઘેટાંપાળકો છે; તેઓ સર્વ પોતપોતાને માર્ગે, દરેક અન્યાયથી લાભ મેળવવા લાલચ કરે છે.
And, the dogs, are greedy they know not to be satisfied. Yea, they, are shepherds who know not to discern, —All of them unto their own way, have turned, Every man to his unjust gain, on every hand:
12 ૧૨ “આવો” તેઓ કહે છે, “આપણે દ્રાક્ષાસવ અને દારૂ પીઈએ; આવતીકાલનો દિવસ આજના જેવો, વળી તે કરતાં પણ મહાન થશે.”
Come ye! I will fetch wine Let us fill ourselves with strong drink, —And like this day, shall, to-morrow be—Great beyond measure!
