ઊત્પત્તિ 50
And he fell Joseph on [the] face of father his and he wept over him and he kissed him.
2 ૨ યૂસફે તેના દાસોમાં જે વૈદો હતા તેઓને તેના પિતાના દેહમાં સુગંધીઓ ભરવાની આજ્ઞા આપી. તેથી વૈદોએ ઇઝરાયલના દેહમાં સુગંધીઓ ભરી.
And he commanded Joseph servants his the physicians to embalm father his and they embalmed the physicians Israel.
3 ૩ સુગંધીઓ ભરવાનું કામ ચાલીસ દિવસ પછી પૂરું થયું. યાકૂબના મરણ નિમિત્તે મિસરીઓએ સિત્તેર દિવસ શોક પાળ્યો.
And they were completed for him forty day[s] for thus they were completed [the] days of the embalming and they wept for him Egypt seventy day[s].
4 ૪ જયારે તેના શોકના દિવસો પૂરા થયા ત્યારે યૂસફે ફારુનની રાજસભાને કહ્યું, “તમે મારા પર સહાનુભૂતિ દર્શાવેલી છે. તો હવે મારા વતી ફારુનને એમ કહો,
And they passed [the] days of weeping his and he spoke Joseph to [the] household of Pharaoh saying if please I have found favor in view your speak please in [the] ears of Pharaoh saying.
5 ૫ ‘મારા પિતાએ મને સમ આપીને કહ્યું હતું કે, “હું મૃત્યુ પામવાનો છું. મેં મારા માટે કનાન દેશમાં કબર ખોદાવેલી છે, ત્યાં મને દફનાવજો.” તો હવે ફારુન મારા પિતાને દફનાવવા માટે મને જવા દે. એ વિધિ પૂરી કર્યા પછી હું પાછો આવીશ.’
Father my he made swear an oath me saying here! I [am] about to die in grave my which I dug for myself in [the] land of Canaan there you will bury me and therefore let me go up please so I may bury father my and I will return.
And he said Pharaoh go up and bury father your just as he made swear you.
7 ૭ યૂસફ તેના પિતાને દફનાવવા માટે ગયો. ફારુનના સર્વ અધિકારીઓ, તેના ઘરના સભ્યો, મિસર દેશના સર્વ ઉચ્ચ અધિકારીઓ પણ તેની સાથે ગયા.
And he went up Joseph to bury father his and they went up with him all [the] servants of Pharaoh [the] elders of household his and all [the] elders of [the] land of Egypt.
8 ૮ યૂસફના ઘરનાં સર્વ, તેના ભાઈઓ અને તેના પિતાના ઘરનાં સર્વ પણ ગયાં. તેઓએ તેમનાં નાનાં બાળકો, તેમના ટોળાં તથા તેમનાં અન્ય જાનવરોને ગોશેન દેશમાં રહેવા દીધાં.
And all [the] household of Joseph and brothers his and [the] household of father his only little one[s] their and sheep their and cattle their they left in [the] land of Goshen.
And it went up with him both chariotry as well as horsemen and it was the company numerous very.
10 ૧૦ જયારે તેઓ યર્દનની સામે પાર આટાદની ખળી છે ત્યાં પહોંચ્યા ત્યારે તેઓએ આક્રંદ કર્યું. પિતાને માટે સાત દિવસ સુધી શોક કર્યો.
And they came to [the] threshing floor of Atad which [is] on [the] other side of the Jordan and they lamented there a lament great and heavy very and he made for father his mourning seven days.
11 ૧૧ આટાદની ખળીમાં તે દેશના કનાનીઓએ તે શોકનું વાતાવરણ જોયું, ત્યારે તેઓ બોલ્યા, “મિસરીઓના માટે આ એક શોકની મોટી જગ્યા છે.” તે માટે તે જગ્યાનું નામ આબેલ-મિસરાઈમ કહેવાય છે, જે યર્દન પાર છે.
And he saw [the] inhabitant[s] of the land the Canaanite[s] the mourning at [the] threshing floor of Atad and they said [is] mourning heavy this for Egypt there-fore someone called name its Abel Mizraim which [is] on [the] other side of the Jordan.
And they did sons his for him thus just as he had commanded them.
13 ૧૩ તેના દીકરાઓ તેને કનાન દેશમાં લાવ્યા અને મામરે નજીક, માખ્પેલાના ખેતરમાંની ગુફામાં તેને દફ્નાવ્યો. ઇબ્રાહિમે કબરસ્તાન માટે તે ખેતર ગુફા સહિત એફ્રોન હિત્તી પાસેથી વેચાતું લીધું હતું.
And they carried him sons his [the] land of towards Canaan and they buried him in [the] cave of [the] field of Machpelah which he had bought Abraham the field to a possession of a burial site from with Ephron the Hittite on [the] face of Mamre.
14 ૧૪ તેના પિતાને દફનાવ્યા પછી યૂસફ તથા તેના ભાઈઓ અને જેઓ તેના પિતાને દફનાવવા માટે તેની સાથે ગયા હતા, તે સર્વ મિસરમાં પાછા આવ્યા.
And he went back Joseph Egypt towards he and brothers his and all those [who] had gone up with him to bury father his after had buried he father his.
15 ૧૫ પિતાના મૃત્યુને લીધે યૂસફના ભાઈઓ ગભરાઈ ગયા. તેઓને મનમાં થયું કે, “જો યૂસફ આપણો દ્વેષ કરશે અને આપણે તેની સાથે જે દુર્વ્યવહાર કર્યો હતો તેનું વેર વાળવાનું તે ઇચ્છશે તો આપણું શું થશે?”
And they saw [the] brothers of Joseph that he had died father their and they said if he will bear a grudge us Joseph and certainly he will repay to us all the harm which we dealt out to him.
16 ૧૬ તેથી તેઓએ યૂસફને સંદેશ કહેવડાવી મોકલ્યો, “તારા પિતાએ મૃત્યુ પામ્યા અગાઉ સૂચન આપીને અમને કહ્યું હતું,
And they commanded to Joseph saying father your he commanded before death his saying.
17 ૧૭ ‘તમે આ પ્રમાણે યૂસફને કહેજો, “તેઓએ તારી સાથે જે ખરાબ વર્તન કર્યું અને તારો અપરાધ કર્યો તે માટે કૃપા કરીને તારા પિતાના ઈશ્વરના ભાઈઓને માફ કરજે.’ જયારે તે સંદેશ તેને મળ્યો ત્યારે યૂસફ ગળગળો થઈ ગયો.
Thus you will say to Joseph we beg you forgive please [the] transgression of brothers your and sin their for evil they dealt out to you and now forgive please to [the] transgression of [the] servants of [the] God of father your and he wept Joseph when spoke they to him.
And they went also brothers his and they fell before him and they said here we [belong] to you to slaves.
And he said to them Joseph may not you fear that ¿ in place of God [am] I.
20 ૨૦ તમે તો મારું ખરાબ કરવા ઇચ્છ્યું હતું પણ તમે આજે જેમ જોયું તેમ ઘણાં લોકોના જીવ બચાવવા ઈશ્વરે તેમાં સારું કર્યું.
And you you planned on me harm God he planned it for good so as to act as the day this to preserve alive a people numerous.
21 ૨૧ તે માટે હવે ગભરાશો નહિ. હું પોતે તમારી તથા તમારાં બાળકોની સંભાળ રાખીશ.” એમ તેણે તેઓને દિલાસો આપ્યો અને તેઓની સાથે હેતથી વાત કરી.
And therefore may not you fear I I will provide for you and little one[s] your and he comforted them and he spoke to heart their.
And he remained Joseph in Egypt he and [the] household of father his and he lived Joseph one hundred and ten years.
23 ૨૩ યૂસફે ત્રીજી પેઢી સુધી એફ્રાઇમનાં બાળકો જોયાં. તેણે મનાશ્શાના દીકરા માખીરના દીકરાઓ પણ જોયા. તેઓ યૂસફના ખોળામાં મોટા થયા.
And he saw Joseph of Ephraim sons of a third generation also [the] sons of Makir [the] son of Manasseh they were born on [the] knees of Joseph.
24 ૨૪ જ્યારે મૃત્યુ થવાનું હતું ત્યારે યૂસફે તેના ભાઈઓ અને પરિવારને કહ્યું, “હું તો મૃત્યુ પામી રહ્યો છું પણ ઈશ્વર નિશ્ચે તમારી ખબર લેશે અને તેમણે જે દેશ સંબંધી આપણા પિતૃઓ ઇબ્રાહિમ, ઇસહાક તથા યાકૂબની આગળ પ્રતિજ્ઞા લીધી હતી, તે મુજબ ઈશ્વર આ દેશમાંથી આપણા દેશમાં તમને લઈ જશે.”
And he said Joseph to brothers his I [am] about to die and God certainly he will visit you and he will bring up you from the land this to the land which he swore to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob.
25 ૨૫ પછી યૂસફે ઇઝરાયલપુત્રોને પ્રતિજ્ઞા લેવડાવીને કહ્યું, “ઈશ્વર તમારી પાસે નિશ્ચે આવશે; તમે અહીંથી જાઓ તે સમયે તમે મારાં અસ્થિ અહીંથી લઈ જજો.”
And he made to swear an oath Joseph [the] sons of Israel saying certainly he will visit God you and you will bring up bones my from here.
26 ૨૬ યૂસફ એકસો દસ વર્ષનો થઈને મૃત્યુ પામ્યો અને તેઓએ તેના દેહમાં સુગંધીઓ ભરીને તેને મિસરમાં શબપેટીમાં સાચવી રાખ્યો.
And he died Joseph a son of one hundred and ten years and people embalmed him and he was put in the coffin in Egypt.
