હઝકિયેલ 7
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
Thou therefore O son of man. Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, To the so of Israel, there is an end, - The end hath come upon the four skirts of the land.
3 ૩ હવે તારો અંત આવ્યો છે, કેમ કે હું તારા પર મારો રોષ રેડીશ, હું તારા માર્ગો પ્રમાણે તારો ન્યાય કરીશ; હું તારાં સર્વ ધિક્કારપાત્ર કામોનો બદલો વાળીશ.
Now is the end upon thee, Therefore will I send mine anger against thee, And judge thee according to thy ways, - And lay upon thee all thine abominations;
4 ૪ કેમ કે મારી આંખ તારા પર દયા કરશે નહિ; પણ હું તારાં આચરણોનો બદલો લઈશ, તારાં તિરસ્કારપાત્ર કૃત્યો તારી મધ્યે લાવીશ, જેથી તું જાણશે કે હું યહોવાહ છું!
And mine eye shall not shield thee. Neither will I pity, —. For thy ways—upon thee, will I lay. And thine abominations in thy midst, shall be found, So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.
Thus saith My Lord Yahweh: A calamity, a sole calamity, lo! it hath come.
An end hath come, Come hath the end It hath roused itself up against thee, — Lo! it hath come.
7 ૭ હે દેશના રહેવાસી તારું આવી બન્યું છે. સમય આવી પહોંચ્યો છે, વિપત્તિનો દિવસ નજીક છે, પર્વતો પર આનંદનો નહિ પણ ખેદ કરવાનો દિવસ આવી પહોંચ્યો છે.
The circle hath come round unto thee. O inhabitant of the land, - The time, hath come, The day of consternation, hath drawn near. And not the joyful shout of the mountains.
8 ૮ હમણાં જ હું મારો રોષ તારા પર રેડીશ અને તારા પરનો મારો કોપ પૂરો કરીશ હું તારાં આચરણો પ્રમાણે તારો ન્યાય કરીશ અને તારાં સર્વ તિરસ્કારપાત્ર કૃત્યો તારા પર લાવીશ.
Now shortly, will I pour out mine indignation upon thee, And will bring to an end mine anger against thee, And will judge thee according to thy ways, - And will lay upon thee all thine abominations.
9 ૯ કેમ કે મારી આંખ તારા પર દયા કરશે નહિ કે, તને છોડશે નહિ. તું જે પ્રમાણે વર્ત્યા છે તેવી રીતે હું તારી સાથે વર્તીશ; હું તારાં ધિક્કારપાત્ર કૃત્યો તારી નજર સમક્ષ લાવીશ, ત્યારે તું જાણશે કે હું યહોવાહ શિક્ષા કરનાર છું.
And mine eye shall not shield thee Neither will I have pity, — According to thy ways, unto thee will I render, And thine abominations, in thy midst shall be found, So shall ye know that I, Yahweh am smiting.
Lo! the day, Lo! it hath come, The circle, hath gone forth, The sceptre, hath blossomed, Insolence hath sprouted:
11 ૧૧ હિંસા વધીને દુષ્ટતાની લાકડી જેવી થઈ છે, તેઓમાંનું, તેઓના સમુદાયમાંનું, તેઓના દ્રવ્યમાંથી કે તેઓના મહત્વનું કંઈ બચશે નહિ!
Violence hath risen up as a sceptre of lawlessness, —There are none of them And none of their multitude And none of their throngs And no lamentation over them.
12 ૧૨ સમય આવી રહ્યો છે, દિવસ પાસે આવતો જાય છે, ખરીદનારે હરખાવું નહિ, વેચનારે શોક કરવો નહિ, કેમ કે, મારો કોપ તેના આખા સમુદાય પર છે.
The time hath come. The day hath arrived, The buyer, let him not rejoice, and The seller, let him not mourn, — For indignation, is against all her multitude.
13 ૧૩ વેચનાર પોતાના વેચાયેલા સ્થળે પાછો આવશે નહિ, જોકે તેઓ બંને જીવતા હશે તોપણ, કેમ કે, આ સંદર્શન તો આખા સમુદાય વિષે છે. તેઓ પાછા ફરશે નહિ, કોઈ માણસ પોતાના પાપમાં પોતાનું જીવન સાર્થક કરશે નહિ.
For the seller, unto that which is to be sold, shall not return, though yet among the living, were their life, for the vision is against all her multitude. He shall not return, And, no man, by his punishment, shall strengthen, his life.
14 ૧૪ તેઓએ રણશિંગડું વગાડીને સઘળું તૈયાર કર્યું છે, પણ કોઈ યુદ્ધમાં જતું નથી, કેમ કે મારો રોષ આખા સમુદાય પર છે.
They have blown the trumpet, even to make All ready, Yet is there none going to the battle; For mine indignation is against all her multitude.
15 ૧૫ બહાર તલવાર છે, અંદર મરકી તથા દુકાળ છે. જે કોઈ ખેતરમાં હશે તે તલવારથી માર્યો જશે, જેઓ નગરમાં છે તેઓને મરકી તથા દુકાળ ગળી જશે.
The sword without, and Pestilence and famine within, — He that is in the field by the sword, shall die, and He that is in the city famine or pestilence shall devour him;
16 ૧૬ પણ તેઓમાંના અમુક લોકો નાસી જઈને દરેક માણસ પોતાના અન્યાયને કારણે, શોક કરતા તેઓ ખીણમાંના કબૂતરો જેવા પર્વતો પર જશે.
While they who escape of them shall escape and become on the mountains as the doves of the valleys, all of them cooing, —each one in his punishment.
All hands shall be unnerved; and All knees shall be weak as water,
18 ૧૮ તેઓ શોકનાં વસ્ત્રો પહેરશે અને ત્રાસ તેમને ઢાંકી દેશે. બધાના ચહેરા પર શરમ હશે અને તેઓ બધાનાં માથાં મૂંડાવેલા હશે.
Therefore shall they gird themselves with sackcloth, And shuddering shall cover them, -And in all faces, shall be paleness, And in all their heads, baldness.
19 ૧૯ તેઓ પોતાનું ચાંદી શેરીઓમાં ફેંકી દેશે અને તેઓનું સોનું અશુદ્ધ વસ્તુના જેવું થઈ જશે. કેમ કે યહોવાહના કોપને દિવસે તેઓનું સોનું કે ચાંદી તેઓને બચાવી શકશે નહિ. તેઓનાં જીવનો બચશે નહિ. તેઓ પોતાનાં પેટ પણ ભરી શકશે નહિ, કેમ કે તેઓના અન્યાય તેઓને ઠોકરરૂપ થયા છે.
Their silver into the streets, shall they cast and Their gold for throwing away, shall serve, Their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of Yahweh, Their craving, shall they not satisfy, and Their belly, shall they not fill, For a stumbling-block, hath their iniquity become.
20 ૨૦ તેઓનાં સુશોભિત આભૂષણો તેઓનું ગર્વનું કારણ થયાં છે અને તેઓ વડે તેઓએ પોતાની તિરસ્કારરૂપ તથા ધિક્કારપાત્ર કૃત્યો દર્શાવતી મૂર્તિઓની પ્રતિમા બનાવી છે, તેથી મેં તે તેઓનું સોનું અને ચાંદી અશુદ્ધ વસ્તુ જેવી બનાવી છે.
When, the beauty of his own ornament, he had, in majesty, placed, Then, the images, of their abominations Their detestable things, Made they therein, — For this cause have I delivered it up to them for removal;
21 ૨૧ હું તેને પરદેશીઓના હાથમાં લૂંટ તરીકે અને પૃથ્વી પરના દુષ્ટોને લૂંટ તરીકે આપીશ, તેઓ એને ભ્રષ્ટ કરશે.
Yea I will deliver it Into the hand of foreigners for a prey, And to the lawless ones of the earth for a spoil, And they will profane it;
22 ૨૨ તેઓ મારા પવિત્રસ્થાનને ભ્રષ્ટ કરશે ત્યારે હું તેઓ તરફથી મારું મુખ ફેરવી લઈશ; લૂંટારુઓ તેમાં પ્રવેશ કરીને તેને ભ્રષ્ટ કરશે.
And I will turn away my face from them, And they will profane my cherished place, —Yea there will enter it violent men Who will profane it.
Prepare thou a chain, — For, the land, is full of the crime of bloodshed, And, the city, is full of violence.
24 ૨૪ તેથી હું સૌથી દુષ્ટ પ્રજાને લાવીશ, તેઓ આ લોકોનાં ઘર પર કબજો કરશે. હું બળવાનોના ઘમંડનો અંત લાવીશ, તેઓનાં પવિત્રસ્થાનો ભ્રષ્ટ કરવામાં આવશે!
So then I will bring in the wicked ones of the nations, And they shall take possession of their houses, —And I will cause to cease the pomp of the strong ones, And their holy places shall be profaned.
Destruction, hath entered, - And they shall seek welfare and there be none.
26 ૨૬ આપત્તિ પર આપત્તિ આવશે, અફવા પર અફવા ચાલશે, તેઓ પ્રબોધકો પાસેથી સંદર્શન શોધશે, પણ યાજકોમાંથી નિયમશાસ્ત્રનો અને વડીલોમાંથી બુધ્ધિનો નાશ થશે.
Disaster upon disaster, shall come, And report after report shall arise, Therefore shall they seek a vision from prophet, And law shall perish from priest. And counsel from elders.
27 ૨૭ રાજા શોક કરશે અને રાજકુમારો પાયમાલીથી ઘેરાઈ જશે, દેશના લોકોના હાથ ભયથી કાંપી ઊઠશે. તેઓનાં આચરણ પ્રમાણે હું તેઓને સજા કરીશ! હું તેઓના ગુણદોષ મુજબ તેઓનો ન્યાય કરીશ. ત્યારે તેઓ જાણશે કે હું યહોવાહ છું!”
The king, shall mourn and, The chief, shall clothe himself with astonishment, and, the hands of the people of the land, shall be wrung in anguish, — After their own way, will I deal with them and, With their own sentences, will I sentence them, And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
