હઝકિયેલ 25
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Son of man, set thy face against the sons of 'Ammon, and prophesy against them;
3 ૩ આમ્મોન લોકોને કહે: ‘પ્રભુ યહોવાહનું વચન સાંભળો. પ્રભુ યહોવાહ કહે છે કે: જ્યારે મારા પવિત્રસ્થાનને અશુદ્ધ કરવામાં આવ્યું, જ્યારે ઇઝરાયલનો દેશ વેરાન થયો હતો ત્યારે તમે તેની હાંસી ઉડાવી અને જ્યારે યહૂદિયાના લોકો બંદીવાસમાં ગયા ત્યારે તમે તેઓની વિરુદ્ધ કહ્યું છે કે, “વાહ!”
And say unto the sons of 'Ammon, Hear ye the word of the Lord Eternal, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because thou hast said, Aha, concerning my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and concerning the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and concerning the house of Judah, when they went into exile:
4 ૪ તેથી જુઓ! હું તમને પૂર્વના લોકોને તેઓના વારસા તરીકે આપું છું; તેઓ તમારી વચ્ચે છાવણી નાખશે અને તમારામાં પોતાના તંબુઓ બાંધશે. તેઓ તમારાં ફળ ખાશે અને તેઓ તમારું દૂધ પીશે.
Therefore, behold, I will give thee up to the children of the east for a possession, and they shall set up their towers in thee, and place in thee their dwellings; they shall indeed eat thy fruit, and they shall surely drink thy milk.
5 ૫ હું રાબ્બા નગરને ઊંટોને ચરવાની જગ્યા કરીશ અને આમ્મોનીઓના દેશને ટોળાંઓને બેસવાની જગ્યા કરીશ, ત્યારે તમે જાણશો કે હું યહોવાહ છું.
And I will change Rabbah into a pasture for camels, and [the land of] the sons of 'Ammon into a resting-place for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
6 ૬ કેમ કે પ્રભુ યહોવાહ કહે છે કે: તેં ઇઝરાયલ દેશની વિરુદ્ધ હાથથી તાળીઓ પાડી છે ખુશ થઈને નાચી છે, તેના પરની તારી સંપૂર્ણ ઈર્ષ્યાને લીધે તું મનમાં ખુશ થઈ છે.
For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Whereas thou didst clap thy hands, and stamp with thy feet, and rejoice with all thy derision in the soul over the land of Israel:
7 ૭ તેથી જુઓ, હું મારો હાથ લંબાવીને તમને મારીશ અને લૂંટ થવા માટે તમને પ્રજાઓના હાથમાં સોંપી દઈશ. હું બીજા લોકોમાંથી તમારો નાશ કરીશ. હું રાષ્ટ્રોમાંથી તમારો નાશ કરીશ ત્યારે તમે જાણશો કે હું યહોવાહ છું!”
Therefore, behold, will I stretch out my hand over thee, and will give thee up for a spoil to the nations; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries; I will destroy thee, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
8 ૮ પ્રભુ યહોવાહ આમ કહે છે: કેમ કે મોઆબ તથા સેઈર કહે છે, “જુઓ, યહૂદિયાના લોક તો બીજી પ્રજાઓ જેવા છે!”
Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because Moab and Se'ir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations:
9 ૯ તેથી જુઓ! હું મોઆબના ઢોળાવો, તેની સરહદ પરનાં નગરો એટલે બેથ-યશીમોથ, બઆલ-મેઓન તથા કિર્યાથાઈમ જે દેશની શોભા છે.
Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth-ha-yeshimoth, Ba'al-me'on, and Kiryathayim,
10 ૧૦ તે નગરોથી માંડીને હું મોઆબના પડખામાં આમ્મોનીઓની વિરુદ્ધ પૂર્વના લોકોને સારુ ખોલી આપીશ, હું તેઓને વારસા તરીકે આમ્મોનીઓને આપી દઈશ, જેથી આમ્મોનીઓનું નામનિશાન રહેશે નહિ.
Unto the children of the east [coming] against the sons of 'Ammon, and I will give them in possession; in order that the sons of 'Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.
And on Moab will I execute judgments: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
12 ૧૨ પ્રભુ યહોવાહ આમ કહે છે: “અદોમે યહૂદિયાના લોકો પર વૈર વાળીને તેનું નુકસાન કર્યું છે, ને તેના પર વૈર વાળીને મોટો ગુનો કર્યો છે.”
Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because the Edomites have acted revengefully against the house of Judah, and have greatly offended, and have taken vengeance on them:
13 ૧૩ તેથી પ્રભુ યહોવાહ કહે છે; “હું અદોમ વિરુદ્ધ મારો હાથ લંબાવીને તેનાં મનુષ્યો તથા જાનવરોનો નાશ કરીશ. હું તેમાનથી માંડીને દેદાન સુધી તેને વેરાન કરીશ. તેઓ તલવારથી મરશે.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will also stretch out my hand against Edom, and cut off from it man and beast; and I will make it a ruined land from Theman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.
14 ૧૪ મારા ઇઝરાયલી લોકો દ્વારા હું અદોમ પર મારું વૈર વાળીશ, તેઓ અદોમ સાથે મારા રોષ તથા ક્રોધ પ્રમાણે વર્તાવ કરશે, તેઓ મારા વૈરનો અનુભવ કરશે!” જાણશે કે મેં વૈર વાળ્યું છે.” પ્રભુ યહોવાહ આમ કહે છે.
And I will display my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my fury: and they shall feel my vengeance, saith the Lord Eternal.
15 ૧૫ પ્રભુ યહોવાહ આમ કહે છે: “પલિસ્તીઓએ તેઓનાં હૃદયના તિરસ્કાર તથા જૂની દુશ્મનાવટને કારણે યહૂદિયા પર વૈર વાળીને તેનો નાશ કર્યો છે.
Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because the Philistines have acted in revenge, and have taken vengeance with derision in their soul, to destroy out of ancient enmity:
16 ૧૬ આમ પ્રભુ યહોવાહ કહે છે: જુઓ! હું પલિસ્તીઓ વિરુદ્ધ મારો હાથ લંબાવીશ, હું કરેથીઓનો તથા દરિયાકિનારાના બાકીના ભાગનો નાશ કરીશ.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will stretch out my hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the Kerethim, and destroy the remnant of the [dwellers] of the sea-coast.
17 ૧૭ હું સખત ધમકીઓ સહિત તેઓના પર વૈર વાળીશ. જ્યારે હું તેઓના પર મારું વૈર વાળીશ ત્યારે તેઓ જાણશે કે હું યહોવાહ છું!
And I will execute on them great vengeances with furious chastisements: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I display my vengeance on them.
