પ્રેરિતોનાં કૃત્યો 3
Now Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, at three in the afternoon.
2 ૨ જન્મથી પગે અપંગ એક માણસને, ઊંચકીને લવાતો અને ભક્તિસ્થાનના સુંદર નામના દરવાજા આગળ નિત્ય બેસાડાતો કે જેથી ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં જનારાની પાસે તે ભીખ માંગી શકે.
A certain man who was lame from his mother's womb was being carried, whom they put daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask gifts for the needy of those who entered into the temple.
Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive gifts for the needy.
Peter, fastening his eyes on him, with John, said, "Look at us."
He listened to them, expecting to receive something from them.
6 ૬ પણ પિતરે કહ્યું કે, સોનુંચાંદી તો મારી પાસે નથી; પણ મારી પાસે જે છે તે હું તને આપું છું. નાસરેથના ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તનાં નામે ચાલતો થા.
But Peter said, "Silver and gold have I none, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus (the) Messiah the Nazorean, get up and walk."
He took him by the right hand, and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength.
8 ૮ તે કૂદીને ઊભો થયો, અને ચાલવા લાગ્યો; ચાલતાં અને કૂદતાં તથા ઈશ્વરની સ્તુતિ કરતાં તે તેઓની સાથે ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં ગયો.
Leaping up, he stood, and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.
All the people saw him walking and praising God.
10 ૧૦ લોકોએ તેને ઓળખ્યો કે ભક્તિસ્થાનના સુંદર નામના દરવાજા આગળ જે ભીખ માંગવા બેસતો હતો તે એ જ છે; અને તેને જે થયું હતું તેથી લોકો બહુ આશ્ચર્ય પામ્યા.
They recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
11 ૧૧ તે સાજો કરાયેલો માણસ પિતર તથા યોહાનને પકડી રહ્યો હતો એટલામાં આશ્ચર્યસભર સઘળા લોક, સુલેમાન નામની પરસાળમાં તેઓની પાસે દોડી આવ્યા.
And as he held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.
12 ૧૨ તે જોઈને પિતરે લોકોને ઉત્તર આપ્યો કે, ઇઝરાયલી માણસો, આ જોઈ તમે આશ્ચર્ય કેમ પામો છો? અને જાણે અમારા સામર્થ્યથી અથવા ધાર્મિકપણાથી અમે તેને ચાલતો કર્યો હોય તેમ શા માટે અમને ધારીઘારીને જોઈ રહ્યા છો?
When Peter saw it, he responded to the people, "You men of Israel, why are you amazed at this? Why do you fasten your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him walk?
13 ૧૩ ઇબ્રાહિમનાં, ઇસહાકના તથા યાકૂબના ઈશ્વરે, એટલે આપણા પૂર્વજોના ઈશ્વરે, પોતાના સેવક ઈસુને મહિમાવાન કર્યા, જેમને તમે પકડાવ્યા અને પિલાતે તેમને છોડી દેવાનું ઠરાવ્યું હતું ત્યારે તેની આગળ તમે તેમનો નકાર કર્યો હતો.
The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up, and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had determined to release him.
14 ૧૪ તમે તે પવિત્ર તથા ન્યાયીનો વિરોધ કર્યો, અને અમારે સારુ એક ખૂનીને છોડી દેવામાં આવે એવું માગીને,
But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a man who was a murderer to be granted to you,
15 ૧૫ તમે જીવનનાં અધિકારી ઈસુને મારી નાખ્યા; તેમને ઈશ્વરે મૂએલાંઓમાંથી સજીવન કર્યા; અને અમે તેના સાક્ષી છીએ.
and killed the Originator of life, whom God raised from the dead, to which we are witnesses.
16 ૧૬ આ માણસ જેને તમે જુઓ છો અને ઓળખો છો, તેને ઈસુના નામ પરના વિશ્વાસે શક્તિમાન કર્યો; હા, તમો સર્વની આગળ ઈસુ પરના વિશ્વાસે તેને આ પૂરું આરોગ્ય આપ્યું છે.
By faith in his name, his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
"Now, brothers, I know that you did this in ignorance, as did also your rulers.
18 ૧૮ પણ ઈશ્વરે બધા પ્રબોધકોના મુખદ્વારા અગાઉથી જે કહ્યું હતું કે, ‘તેમના ખ્રિસ્ત દુઃખ સહેશે’, તે એ રીતે તેમણે પૂર્ણ કર્યું.
But the things which God announced by the mouth of all his prophets, that the Messiah should suffer, he thus fulfilled.
19 ૧૯ માટે તમે પસ્તાવો કરો ને ફરો, જેથી તમારાં પાપ માફ કરવામાં આવે; અને એમ પ્રભુની હજૂરમાંથી તાજગીના સમયો આવે;
"Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord,
and that he may send Jesus, the Messiah who was ordained for you before,
21 ૨૧ ઈશ્વરે જગતના આરંભથી પોતાના પવિત્ર પ્રબોધકોનાં મુખદ્વારા જે વિષે કહ્યું છે તે સઘળાની પુનઃસ્થાપના થવાનાં સમયો સુધી ઈસુએ સ્વર્ગમાં રહેવું જોઈએ. (aiōn g165)
whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets. (aiōn g165)
22 ૨૨ મૂસાએ તો કહ્યું હતું કે, ‘પ્રભુ ઈશ્વર તમારા ભાઈઓમાંથી મારા જેવા એક પ્રબોધકને તમારે સારુ ઊભો કરશે, તે જે કંઈ તમને કહે તે બધી બાબતો વિષે તમારે તેમનું સાંભળવું.
For Moses indeed said to the fathers, 'The Lord your God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. You must listen to him in all things whatever he says to you.
It will be, that every soul that will not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.'
24 ૨૪ વળી શમુએલથી માંડીને તેની પાછળ આવનાર જેટલાં પ્રબોધકો બોલ્યા છે, તે સર્વએ પણ આ દિવસો વિષે કહ્યું છે.
Yes, and all the prophets from Samuel and those who followed after, as many as have spoken, they also told of these days.
25 ૨૫ તમે પ્રબોધકોના સંતાન છો, અને ‘ઇબ્રાહિમનાં સંતાનો દ્વારા પૃથ્વી પરનાં સર્વ કુટુંબ આશીર્વાદિત થશે,’ એવું ઇબ્રાહિમને કહીને ઈશ્વરે તમારા પૂર્વજો સાથે કરાર કર્યો, તેનાં સંતાન તમે છો.
You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, 'And through your offspring all the families of the earth will be blessed.'
26 ૨૬ ઈશ્વરે પોતાના સેવકને સજીવન કરી, તેમને પ્રથમ તમારી પાસે મોકલ્યા, જેથી તે તમને દરેકને તમારાં દુષ્કૃત્યોથી ફેરવીને આશીર્વાદ આપે.
God, having raised up his Servant, sent him to you first, to bless you, in turning away everyone of you from your wickedness."
