2 કાળવ્રત્તાંત 4
1 ૧ આ ઉપરાંત તેણે પિત્તળની એક વેદી બનાવી; તેની લંબાઈ વીસ હાથ, તેની પહોળાઈ વીસ હાથ હતી અને તેની ઊંચાઈ દસ હાથ હતી.
And he made an altar of bronze, twenty cubits, the length thereof, and, twenty cubits, the breadth thereof, —and, ten cubits, the height thereof.
2 ૨ તેણે ઢાળેલી ધાતુનો કુંડ પણ બનાવ્યો, તેનો આકાર ગોળ હતો, તેનો વ્યાસ દસ હાથ હતો. તેની ઊંચાઈ પાંચ હાથ હતી અને કુંડનો ઘેરાવો ત્રીસ હાથનો હતો.
And he made a molten sea, —ten—by the cubit, from the one brim thereof into the other brim thereof, it was round all about, and, five—by the cubit, was the height thereof, and, a line—of thirty by the cubit, did compass it round about.
3 ૩ એ કુંડની નીચે ચારે તરફ ફરતી બળદના પૂતળાની કળીઓ હતી, એટલે દરેક હાથે દસ કળીઓ પડેલી હતી, કળીઓની જે હારો હતી તે કુંડની સાથે જ ઢાળવામાં આવી હતી.
And, the likeness of oxen, was under it round about on every side, encircling it, ten in a cubit, going round the sea, on every side, -two rows of oxen, made in the casting.
4 ૪ તે કુંડ બાર બળદની ઉપર ગોઠવેલો હતો. આ બળદોમાંથી ત્રણનાં મુખ ઉત્તર તરફ, ત્રણનાં મુખ પૂર્વ તરફ, ત્રણનાં મુખ પશ્ચિમ તરફ અને ત્રણનાં મુખ દક્ષિણ તરફ હતાં. કુંડ તેમના ઉપર ગોઠવેલો હતો અને તેમનો સર્વ પાછળનો ભાગ અંદરની બાજુએ હતો.
It was standing on twelve oxen, three, looking toward the north, and, three, looking toward the west, and, three, looking toward the south, and, three, looking toward the east, the sea, being upon them above, —and, all their hinder parts, inward.
5 ૫ તેની જાડાઈ ચાર આંગળ હતી, તેના કાનાની બનાવટ વાટકાના કાનાની માફક કમળના ફૂલ જેવી હતી. તેમાં આશરે છ હજાર બેડાં પાણી સમાતાં હતાં.
And, the thickness thereof, was a hand-breadth, and, the brim thereof, was like the brim-work of a cup, with blossoms of lilies, —it could hold [many] baths, three thousand, would it contain.
6 ૬ તેણે વસ્તુઓ ધોવા માટે દસ કૂંડાં બનાવ્યાં; તેણે પાંચને જમણી તરફ અને પાંચને ડાબી તરફ મૂક્યાં; તેઓમાં દહનીયાર્પણને લગતા પદાર્થો ધોવામાં આવતા હતા. કુંડ તો યાજકોને માટે નાહવાધોવા માટે હતો.
And he made ten lavers, and set five on the right hand—and five on the left, to bathe therein, what is offered as an ascending-sacrifice, do they rinse therein, —but, the sea, was, that the priests should bathe therein.
7 ૭ તેણે મળેલા વિધિ પ્રમાણે સોનાનાં દસ દીપવૃક્ષ બનાવ્યાં; તેણે તેમને ઘરમાં પાંચ જમણી તરફ અને પાંચ ડાબી તરફ મૂક્યાં.
And he made ten lampstands of gold according to the regulation thereof, —and set in the temple, five, on the right hand, and, five, on the left.
8 ૮ તેણે દસ મેજ બનાવીને ઘરમાં પાંચ મેજ જમણી બાજુએ અને પાંચ મેજ ડાબી બાજુએ મૂક્યાં. તેણે સોનાનાં સો કુંડાં બનાવ્યાં.
And he made ten tables, and placed in the temple, five, on the right hand, and, five, on the left, —and he made a hundred tossing bowls of gold.
9 ૯ આ ઉપરાંત તેણે યાજકો માટેનો ચોક તથા મોટા ચોક બાંધ્યા અને ચોકના દરવાજા બનાવ્યા; તેણે દરવાજાને પિત્તળથી મઢ્યા.
And he made the court of the priests, and the large enclosure, —and doors to the enclosure, and, the doors thereof, overlaid he with bronze.
And, the sea, he set on the right side of the house, eastward over against the south.
11 ૧૧ હીરામે ઘડા, પાવડા અને ડોયા બનાવ્યા. હિરામ ઈશ્વરના ઘરમાં સુલેમાન રાજા માટે જે કામ કરતો હતો તે તેણે પૂરું કર્યું.
And Huram made—the pans, and the shovels, and the tossing bowls, —and Huram finished doing the work, which he did for King Solomon, in the house of God: —
12 ૧૨ તેણે બે સ્તંભો, વાટકા તથા સ્તંભોની ટોચો ઉપરના બે કળશ તથા સ્તંભોની ટોચો ઉપરના કળશોને ઢાંકવા સારુ બે જાળીઓ,
two pillars, and the bowls and the capitals on the top of the two pillars, and the two frames of checker work, to cover the two bowls of the capitals, which were on the top of the pillars;
13 ૧૩ એ બે જાળીને માટે ચારસો દાડમ એટલે સ્તંભો ઉપરના કળશોને ઢાંકનાર દરેક જાળીને માટે દાડમની બબ્બે હારો બનાવી.
and four hundred pomegranates, for the two frames, -two rows of pomegranates, for each frame, for covering the two bowls of the capitals, which were on the face of the pillars;
and, the stands, made he, —and, the lavers, made he upon the stands;
the one sea, —and the twelve oxen under it;
16 ૧૬ આ ઉપરાંત હીરામે ઘડા, પાવડા, ત્રિપાંખીયું ઓજાર તથા તેને લગતાં બીજાં કેટલાંક ઓજારો ઈશ્વરના સભાસ્થાનને માટે તથા સુલેમાન રાજાને માટે ચળકતા પિત્તળના બનાવ્યાં.
and, the pans and the shovels and the flesh-hooks, and all the vessels, made Huram his father for King Solomon, for the house of Yahweh, —of burnished bronze,
17 ૧૭ રાજાએ તેમને યર્દનના સપાટ પ્રદેશમાં સુક્કોથ તથા ઝેરેદાહની વચ્ચેની ચીકણી માટીની જમીનમાં ઢાળ્યાં.
In the circuit of the Jordan, did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredah.
18 ૧૮ આ રીતે સુલેમાને ઘણાં પ્રમાણમાં સર્વ પાત્રો બનાવ્યાં; એમાં વપરાયેલા પિત્તળના વજનનો કોઈ હિસાબ નહોતો.
So Solomon made all these utensils, in great abundance, —for the weight of the bronze could not be searched out.
19 ૧૯ સુલેમાને ઈશ્વરના સભાસ્થાનનાં સર્વ પાત્રો, સોનાની વેદી તથા અર્પિત રોટલીની મેજો પણ ચોખ્ખા સોનાની બનાવી.
Yea Solomon made all the utensils which were for the house of God, —and the altar of gold, and the tables, whereon was the Presence-bread;
and the lamp-holders and their lamps, that they should burn according to the regulation before the shrine, of purified gold;
and the blossom-work, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold, —the same, was the purest gold;
22 ૨૨ ઉપરાંત કાતરો, તપેલાં, ચમચા અને સગડીઓ પણ ચોખ્ખા સોનાનાં બનાવ્યાં. તેમ જ સભાસ્થાનનાં સર્વ પ્રવેશદ્વારો તથા અંદરનું પરમપવિત્ર સ્થાન કે જે સભાસ્થાન છે તે સર્વ પણ ચોખ્ખા સોનાથી બનાવવામાં આવ્યાં હતાં.
and the snuffers and the bowls and the spoons and the censers, of purified gold, —and the entrance of the house, the inner doors thereof for the holy of holies, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.
