Αποκαλυψις Ιωαννου 22
1 Καὶ ἔδειξέν μοι ποταμὸν ὕδατος ζωῆς λαμπρὸν ὡς κρύσταλλον, ἐκπορευόμενον ἐκ τοῦ θρόνου τοῦ ˚Θεοῦ καὶ τοῦ Ἀρνίου.
And he shewed me a pure river of the water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God, and of the Lamb.
2 Ἐν μέσῳ τῆς πλατείας αὐτῆς καὶ τοῦ ποταμοῦ, ἐντεῦθεν καὶ ἐκεῖθεν, ξύλον ζωῆς ποιοῦν καρποὺς δώδεκα, κατὰ μῆνα ἕκαστον ἀποδιδοῦν τὸν καρπὸν αὐτοῦ, καὶ τὰ φύλλα τοῦ ξύλου εἰς θεραπείαν τῶν ἐθνῶν.
And in the midst of the street, and of the river, which ran on each side, was the tree of life, producing fruits twelve times in the year, yielding its different fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
3 Καὶ πᾶν κατάθεμα οὐκ ἔσται ἔτι. Καὶ ὁ θρόνος τοῦ ˚Θεοῦ καὶ τοῦ Ἀρνίου ἐν αὐτῇ ἔσται, καὶ οἱ δοῦλοι αὐτοῦ λατρεύσουσιν αὐτῷ.
And every curse shall cease: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and his servants shall serve Him.
4 Καὶ ὄψονται τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ, καὶ τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τῶν μετώπων αὐτῶν.
And they shall see his face; and his name shall be on their foreheads.
5 Καὶ νὺξ οὐκ ἔσται ἔτι, καὶ οὐκ ἔχουσιν χρείαν φωτὸς λύχνου καὶ φωτὸς ἡλίου, ὅτι ˚Κύριος ὁ ˚Θεὸς φωτίσει ἐπʼ αὐτούς, καὶ βασιλεύσουσιν εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων. (aiōn g165)
And there shall be no night there: and they have no need of a candle, nor of the light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light; and they shall reign for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
6 Καὶ εἶπέν μοι, “Οὗτοι οἱ λόγοι πιστοὶ καὶ ἀληθινοί, καὶ ὁ ˚Κύριος, ὁ ˚Θεὸς τῶν πνευμάτων τῶν προφητῶν, ἀπέστειλεν τὸν ἄγγελον αὐτοῦ, δεῖξαι τοῖς δούλοις αὐτοῦ ἃ δεῖ γενέσθαι ἐν τάχει.”
And he said unto me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets hath sent his angel to shew unto his servants what must soon be.
7 “Καὶ ἰδοὺ, ἔρχομαι ταχύ. Μακάριος ὁ τηρῶν τοὺς λόγους τῆς προφητείας τοῦ βιβλίου τούτου.”
For behold I come quickly: happy is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book.
8 Κἀγὼ Ἰωάννης ὁ ἀκούων καὶ βλέπων ταῦτα. Καὶ ὅτε ἤκουσα καὶ ἔβλεψα, ἔπεσα προσκυνῆσαι ἔμπροσθεν τῶν ποδῶν τοῦ ἀγγέλου τοῦ δεικνύοντός μοι ταῦτα.
And I John am he who saw and heard these things: and when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel, who shewed me these things.
9 Καὶ λέγει μοι, “Ὅρα μή· σύνδουλός σού εἰμι καὶ τῶν ἀδελφῶν σου, τῶν προφητῶν, καὶ τῶν τηρούντων τοὺς λόγους τοῦ βιβλίου τούτου. Τῷ ˚Θεῷ προσκύνησον!”
And he said unto me, See thou do it not: for I am a fellow-servant of thine, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of those who observe the words of this book: worship God.
10 Καὶ λέγει μοι, “Μὴ σφραγίσῃς τοὺς λόγους τῆς προφητείας τοῦ βιβλίου τούτου, ὁ καιρὸς γὰρ ἐγγύς ἐστιν.
And he said unto me, Seal not the words of the prophecy of this book; for the time is near.
11 Ὁ ἀδικῶν, ἀδικησάτω ἔτι, καὶ ὁ ῥυπαρὸς, ῥυπανθήτω ἔτι, καὶ ὁ δίκαιος, δικαιοσύνην ποιησάτω ἔτι, καὶ ὁ ἅγιος, ἁγιασθήτω ἔτι.”
Let him, that is unjust, be unjust still: and let him, that is filthy, be filthy still: and let him, that is righteous, be righteous still; and let him, that is holy, be holy still.
12 “Ἰδοὺ, ἔρχομαι ταχύ, καὶ ὁ μισθός μου μετʼ ἐμοῦ, ἀποδοῦναι ἑκάστῳ ὡς τὸ ἔργον ἐστὶν αὐτοῦ.
And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to recompense every one according to his work.
13 Ἐγὼ τὸ Ἄλφα καὶ τὸ Ὦ, ὁ πρῶτος καὶ ὁ ἔσχατος, ἡ ἀρχὴ καὶ τὸ τέλος.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 Μακάριοι οἱ πλύνοντες τὰς στολὰς αὐτῶν, ἵνα ἔσται ἡ ἐξουσία αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὸ ξύλον τῆς ζωῆς, καὶ τοῖς πυλῶσιν εἰσέλθωσιν εἰς τὴν πόλιν.
Happy are they that do his commandments, so shall they have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.
15 Ἔξω οἱ κύνες, καὶ οἱ φάρμακοι, καὶ οἱ πόρνοι, καὶ οἱ φονεῖς, καὶ οἱ εἰδωλολάτραι, καὶ πᾶς φιλῶν καὶ ποιῶν ψεῦδος.
But without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and every one that loveth and practiseth falshood.
16 Ἐγὼ, ˚Ἰησοῦς, ἔπεμψα τὸν ἄγγελόν μου, μαρτυρῆσαι ὑμῖν ταῦτα ἐπὶ ταῖς ἐκκλησίαις. Ἐγώ εἰμι ἡ ῥίζα καὶ τὸ γένος Δαυίδ, ὁ ἀστὴρ ὁ λαμπρός, ὁ πρωϊνός.”
I Jesus have sent my messenger to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am both the root and the offspring of David, the bright and morning star.
17 Καὶ τὸ ˚Πνεῦμα καὶ ἡ νύμφη λέγουσιν, “Ἔρχου!” Καὶ ὁ ἀκούων εἰπάτω, “Ἔρχου!” Καὶ ὁ διψῶν ἐρχέσθω, ὁ θέλων λαβέτω ὕδωρ ζωῆς δωρεάν.
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come; and let him that heareth say, Come. And let him, that thirsteth, Come. And let him, that desireth it, take the water of life freely.
18 Μαρτυρῶ ἐγὼ παντὶ τῷ ἀκούοντι τοὺς λόγους τῆς προφητείας τοῦ βιβλίου τούτου: ἐάν τις ἐπιθῇ ἐπʼ αὐτά, ἐπιθήσει ἐπʼ αὐτὸν ὁ ˚Θεὸς τὰς πληγὰς τὰς γεγραμμένας ἐν τῷ βιβλίῳ τούτῳ.
I testify to every one that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any one add to these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 Καὶ ἐάν τις ἀφέλῃ ἀπὸ τῶν λόγων τοῦ βιβλίου τῆς προφητείας ταύτης, ἀφελεῖ ὁ ˚Θεὸς τὸ μέρος αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ ξύλου τῆς ζωῆς καὶ ἐκ τῆς πόλεως τῆς ἁγίας, τῶν γεγραμμένων ἐν τῷ βιβλίῳ τούτῳ.
and if any one take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book.
20 Λέγει ὁ μαρτυρῶν ταῦτα, “Ναί, ἔρχομαι ταχύ. Ἀμήν!” Ἔρχου, ˚Κύριε ˚Ἰησοῦ!
He who testifieth these things saith, I surely come quickly. Amen, even so come, Lord Jesus.
21 Ἡ χάρις τοῦ ˚Κυρίου ˚Ἰησοῦ μετὰ τῶν ἁγίων. Ἀμήν!
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
