Ζαχαρίας 6
1 Και πάλιν ύψωσα τους οφθαλμούς μου και είδον και ιδού, τέσσαρες άμαξαι εξήρχοντο εκ του μέσου δύο ορέων και τα όρη ήσαν όρη χάλκινα.
And I again lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold, there came out four chariots from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of copper.
2 Εν τη αμάξη τη πρώτη ήσαν ίπποι κόκκινοι, και εν τη αμάξη τη δευτέρα ίπποι μέλανες,
In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot, black horses:
3 και εν τη αμάξη τη τρίτη ίπποι λευκοί, και εν τη αμάξη τη τετάρτη ίπποι ποικίλοι ψαροί.
And in the third chariot, white horses; and in the fourth chariot, grizzled, ash-colored horses.
4 Και απεκρίθην και είπα προς τον άγγελον τον λαλούντα μετ' εμού, Τι είναι ταύτα, κύριέ μου;
And I began and said unto the angel that spoke with me, What are these, my lord?
5 Και απεκρίθη ο άγγελος και είπε προς εμέ, Ταύτα είναι οι τέσσαρες άνεμοι του ουρανού, οίτινες εξέρχονται εκ της στάσεως αυτών ενώπιον του Κυρίου πάσης της γής·
And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth after having stood before the Lord of all the earth.
6 οι ίπποι οι μέλανες οι εν τη μιά εξέρχονται προς την γην του βορρά, και οι λευκοί εξέρχονται κατόπιν αυτών, και οι ποικίλοι εξέρχονται προς την γην του νότου.
The [chariot] on which are black horses—these go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grizzled go forth toward the south country.
7 Και οι ψαροί εξήλθον και εζήτησαν να υπάγωσι διά να περιέλθωσι την γην. Και είπεν, Υπάγετε, περιέλθετε την γην. Και περιήλθον την γην.
And the red-colored were gone forth, and sought to traverse the earth: and he said, Go, traverse the earth. So they traversed the earth.
8 Και έκραξε προς εμέ και ελάλησε προς εμέ, λέγων, Ιδέ, οι εξερχόμενοι προς την γην του βορρά ανέπαυσαν το πνεύμά μου εν τη γη του βορρά.
Then cried he loudly unto me, and spoke unto me, saying, Behold, these that are going toward the north country, have quieted [the indignation of] my spirit in the north country.
9 Και έγεινε λόγος Κυρίου προς εμέ, λέγων,
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
10 Λάβε εκ των ανδρών της αιχμαλωσίας, εκ του Χελδαΐ, εκ του Τωβία και εκ του Ιεδαΐα, των ελθόντων εκ Βαβυλώνος, και ελθέ την αυτήν εκείνην ημέραν και είσελθε εις τον οίκον του Ιωσίου, υιού του Σοφονίου·
Take from the exiles, from Cheldai, from Tobiyahu, and from Yeda'yah, and thou shalt come on the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephanyah, whither they have arrived from Babylon;
11 και λάβε αργύριον και χρυσίον και κάμε στεφάνους και επίθες επί την κεφαλήν του Ιησού, υιού του Ιωσεδέκ, του ιερέως του μεγάλου,
Take also silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua, the son of Jehozadak the high priest;
12 και λάλησον προς αυτόν, λέγων, Ούτω λέγει ο Κύριος των δυνάμεων, λέγων, Ιδού, ο ανήρ, του οποίου το όνομα είναι ο Βλαστός· και θέλει βλαστήσει εκ του τόπου αυτού και θέλει οικοδομήσει τον ναόν του Κυρίου.
And thou shalt say unto him as followeth, Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold a man, Sprout is his name; since out of his own place shall he sprout up, even he shall build the temple of the Lord:
13 Ναι, αυτός θέλει οικοδομήσει τον ναόν του Κυρίου, και αυτός θέλει λάβει την δόξαν και θέλει καθήσει και διοικήσει επί του θρόνου αυτού και θέλει είσθαι ιερεύς επί του θρόνου αυτού, και βουλή ειρήνης θέλει είσθαι μεταξύ των δύο τούτων.
Yea, he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and a priest shall be upon his own throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between both of them.
14 Και στέφανοι θέλουσιν είσθαι διά τον Ελέμ και διά τον Τωβίαν και διά τον Ιεδαΐαν και διά τον Ειν τον υιόν του Σοφονίου προς μνημόσυνον εν τω ναώ του Κυρίου.
And the crowns shall be for Chelem, and for Tobiyah, and for Yeda'yah, and for Chen the son of Zephanyah, as a memorial in the temple of the Lord.
15 Και οι μακράν θέλουσιν ελθεί και οικοδομήσει εν τω ναώ του Κυρίου· και θέλετε γνωρίσει ότι ο Κύριος των δυνάμεων με απέστειλε προς εσάς· και τούτο θέλει γείνει, εάν υπακούσητε ακριβώς εις την φωνήν Κυρίου του Θεού σας.
And distant ones shall come and build on the temple of the Lord, and ye shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God.
