Αποκαλυψις Ιωαννου 19

1 Και μετά ταύτα ήκουσα ως φωνήν μεγάλην όχλου πολλού εν τω ουρανώ, λέγοντος· Αλληλούϊα· η σωτηρία και η δόξα και η τιμή και η δύναμις ανήκουσιν εις Κύριον τον Θεόν ημών,

After these things I heard as it were a great voice of a vast multitude in the heaven, saying, Hallelujah! Salvation, and glary, and power, belong to our God:

2 διότι αληθιναί και δίκαιαι είναι αι κρίσεις αυτού· διότι έκρινε την πόρνην την μεγάλην, ήτις έφθειρε την γην με την πορνείαν αυτής, και εξεδίκησεν εκ της χειρός αυτής το αίμα των δούλων αυτού.

because his judgments are true and righteous; because he has judged the great harlot, who corrupted the earth by her fornication, and he has avenged the blood of his servants from her hand.

3 Και εκ δευτέρου είπον· Αλληλούϊα· και ο καπνός αυτής αναβαίνει εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. (aiōn g165)

And a second time they said, Hallelujah! and her smoke is going up unto the ages of the ages. (aiōn g165)

4 Και έπεσον οι εικοσιτέσσαρες πρεσβύτεροι και τα τέσσαρα ζώα και προσεκύνησαν τον Θεόν τον καθήμενον επί του θρόνου λέγοντες· Αμήν, αλληλούϊα.

And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sitteth upon the throne, saying Amen; Hallelujah!

5 Και εξήλθεν εκ του θρόνου φωνή, λέγουσα· Αινείτε τον Θεόν ημών, πάντες οι δούλοι αυτού και οι φοβούμενοι αυτόν και οι μικροί και οι μεγάλοι.

And a voice came out from the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, ye who fear him, small and great.

6 Και ήκουσα ως φωνήν όχλου πολλού, και ως φωνήν υδάτων πολλών, και ως φωνήν βροντών ισχυρών, λεγόντων· Αλληλούϊα· διότι εβασίλευσε Κύριος ο Θεός ο παντοκράτωρ.

And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of mighty thunders, saying, Hallelujah! because the Lord our God Omnipotent reigned.

7 Ας χαίρωμεν και ας αγαλλιώμεθα και ας δώσωμεν την δόξαν εις αυτόν, διότι ήλθεν ο γάμος του Αρνίου, και η γυνή αυτού ητοίμασεν εαυτήν.

Let us rejoice and be glad, and give glory to him! because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready.

8 Και εδόθη εις αυτήν να ενδυθή βύσσινον καθαρόν και λαμπρόν· διότι το βύσσινον είναι τα δικαιώματα των αγίων.

And it was given unto her that she should be clothed in linen, bright and clean. For the linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

9 Και λέγει προς εμέ· Γράψον, Μακάριοι οι κεκλημένοι εις το δείπνον του γάμου του Αρνίου. Και λέγει προς εμέ· Ούτοι είναι οι αληθινοί λόγοι του Θεού.

And he says to me, Write, Blessed are they who have been called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And He says to me, These are the true words of God.

10 Και έπεσον έμπροσθεν των ποδών αυτού, διά να προσκυνήσω αυτόν. Και λέγει μοι· Πρόσεχε μη κάμης τούτο· εγώ είμαι σύνδουλός σου και των αδελφών σου, οίτινες έχουσι την μαρτυρίαν του Ιησού· τον Θεόν προσκύνησον· διότι η μαρτυρία του Ιησού είναι το πνεύμα της προφητείας.

And I fell down before his feet to worship him. And he says to me; See that you do it not: I am your fellow-servant, and one of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus; worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

11 Και είδον τον ουρανόν ανεωγμένον, και ιδού ίππος λευκός, και ο καθήμενος επ' αυτόν εκαλείτο Πιστός και Αληθινός, και κρίνει και πολεμεί εν δικαιοσύνη.

And I saw the heaven open, and behold a white horse; and one sitting on him called, Faithful and True, in righteousness he both judges and wages war.

12 Οι δε οφθαλμοί αυτού ήσαν ως φλόξ πυρός, και επί της κεφαλής αυτού διαδήματα πολλά, και είχεν όνομα γεγραμμένον, το οποίον ουδείς γνωρίζει ειμή αυτός,

And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems; having a name written, which no one knows, but himself,

13 και ήτο ενδεδυμένος ιμάτιον βεβαμμένον με αίμα, και καλείται το όνομα αυτού· ο Λόγος του Θεού.

and being clothed with a garment sprinkled with blood: and his name has been called, The Word of God.

14 Και τα στρατεύματα τα εν τω ουρανώ ηκολούθουν αυτόν εφ' ίππων λευκών, ενδεδυμένοι βύσσινον λευκόν και καθαρόν.

Armies in the heaven follow him on white horses, clothed in linen, white and clean.

15 Και εκ του στόματος αυτού εξέρχεται ρομφαία κοπτερά, διά να κτυπά με αυτήν τα έθνη· και αυτός θέλει ποιμάνει αυτούς εν ράβδω σιδηρά· και αυτός πατεί τον ληνόν του οίνου του θυμού και της οργής του Θεού του παντοκράτορος·

And out of his mouth goes forth a sharp sword, that with it he may smite the nations; and he will shepherdize them with an iron rod: and he treads the winepress of the wrath of the indignation of God Almighty.

16 και επί το ιμάτιον και επί τον μηρόν αυτού έχει γεγραμμένον το όνομα, Βασιλεύς βασιλέων και Κύριος κυρίων.

And he has on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King of kings, and Lord of lords.

17 Και είδον ένα άγγελον ιστάμενον εν τω ηλίω, και έκραξε μετά φωνής μεγάλης, λέγων προς πάντα τα όρνεα τα πετώμενα εις το μεσουράνημα· Έλθετε και συνάγεσθε εις το δείπνον του μεγάλου Θεού,

And I saw one angel standing on the sun; and he cried with a great voice, saying to all the birds which fly in the midst of heaven, Come, gather yourselves to the great banquet of God;

18 διά να φάγητε σάρκας βασιλέων και σάρκας χιλιάρχων και σάρκας ισχυρών και σάρκας ίππων και των καθημένων επ' αυτών και σάρκας πάντων ελευθέρων και δούλων και μικρών και μεγάλων.

in order that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of chiliarchs, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses and of those sitting on them, and the flesh of all free men and slaves also, both small and great.

19 Και είδον το θηρίον και τους βασιλείς της γης και τα στρατεύματα αυτών συνηγμένα, διά να κάμωσι πόλεμον με τον καθήμενον επί του ίππου και με το στράτευμα αυτού.

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, assembled to make war with the one sitting on the horse, and with his army.

20 Και επιάσθη το θηρίον και μετά τούτου ο ψευδοπροφήτης, όστις έκαμε τα σημεία ενώπιον αυτού, με τα οποία επλάνησε τους λαβόντας το χάραγμα του θηρίου και τους προσκυνούντας την εικόνα αυτού· ζώντες ερρίφθησαν οι δύο εις την λίμνην του πυρός, την καιομένην με το θείον. (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)

And the beast, and the false prophet along with him, who wrought miracles in his presence, by which he deceived those having received the mark of the beast, and those worshiping his image; and the two were cast alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)

21 Και οι λοιποί εφονεύθησαν με την ρομφαίαν του καθημένου επί του ίππου, την εξερχομένην εκ του στόματος αυτού· και πάντα τα όρνεα εχορτάσθησαν εκ των σαρκών αυτών.

And the rest were slain with the sword proceeding out from the mouth of him, the one sitting on the horse: and all the birds were filled with their flesh.
