Αποκαλυψις Ιωαννου 14
1 Και είδον, και ιδού Αρνίον ιστάμενον επί το όρος Σιών, και μετ' αυτού εκατόν τεσσαράκοντα τέσσαρες χιλιάδες, έχουσαι το όνομα του Πατρός αυτού γεγραμμένον επί των μετώπων αυτών.
And I saw, and behold, a Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred forty-four thousand, having the Name of His Father written on their foreheads;
2 Και ήκουσα φωνήν εκ του ουρανού ως φωνήν υδάτων πολλών και ως φωνήν βροντής μεγάλης· και ήκουσα φωνήν κιθαρωδών οίτινες εκιθάριζον με τας κιθάρας αυτών.
and I heard a voice out of Heaven, as a voice of many waters, and as a voice of great thunder, and I heard a voice of harpists harping with their harps,
3 Και έψαλλον ως ωδήν νέαν ενώπιον του θρόνου και ενώπιον των τεσσάρων ζώων και των πρεσβυτέρων· και ουδείς ηδύνατο να μάθη την ωδήν, ειμή αι εκατόν τεσσαράκοντα τέσσαρες χιλιάδες, οι ηγορασμένοι από της γης.
and they sing, as it were, a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the elders, and no one was able to learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand who have been bought from the earth;
4 Ούτοι είναι οι μη μολυνθέντες με γυναίκας· διότι παρθένοι είναι. Ούτοι είναι οι ακολουθούντες το Αρνίον όπου αν υπάγη. Ούτοι ηγοράσθησαν από των ανθρώπων απαρχή εις τον Θεόν και εις το Αρνίον·
these are they who were not defiled with women, for they are virgin; these are they who are following the Lamb wherever He may go; these were bought from among men—a first-fruit to God and to the Lamb—
5 και εν τω στόματι αυτών δεν ευρέθη δόλος, διότι είναι άμωμοι ενώπιον του θρόνου Θεού,
and in their mouth there was not found guile, for they are unblemished before the throne of God.
6 Και είδον άλλον άγγελον πετώμενον εις το μεσουράνημα, όστις είχεν ευαγγέλιον αιώνιον, διά να κηρύξη εις τους κατοικούντας επί της γης και εις παν έθνος και φυλήν και γλώσσαν και λαόν, (aiōnios g166)
And I saw another messenger flying in midair, having continuous good news to proclaim to those dwelling on the earth, and to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people, (aiōnios g166)
7 και έλεγε μετά φωνής μεγάλης· Φοβήθητε τον Θεόν και δότε δόξαν εις αυτόν, διότι ήλθεν η ώρα της κρίσεως αυτού, και προσκυνήσατε τον ποιήσαντα τον ουρανόν και την γην και την θάλασσαν και τας πηγάς των υδάτων.
saying in a great voice, “Fear God, and give to Him glory, because the hour of His judgment came, and worship Him who made the sky, and the land, and sea, and fountains of waters.”
8 Και άλλος άγγελος ηκολούθησε, λέγων· Έπεσεν, έπεσε Βαβυλών η πόλις η μεγάλη, διότι εκ του οίνου του θυμού της πορνείας αυτής επότισε πάντα τα έθνη.
And another messenger followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, because of the wine of the wrath of her whoredom she has given to all nations to drink.”
9 Και τρίτος άγγελος ηκολούθησεν αυτούς, λέγων μετά φωνής μεγάλης· Όστις προσκυνεί το θηρίον και την εικόνα αυτού και λαμβάνει χάραγμα επί του μετώπου αυτού ή επί της χειρός αυτού,
And a third messenger followed them, saying in a great voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,
10 και αυτός θέλει πίει εκ του οίνου του θυμού του Θεού του κεκερασμένου ακράτου εν τω ποτηρίω της οργής αυτού, και θέλει βασανισθή με πυρ και θείον ενώπιον των αγίων αγγέλων και ενώπιον του Αρνίου.
he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God that has been mingled unmixed in the cup of His anger, and he will be tormented in fire and brimstone before the holy messengers, and before the Lamb,
11 Και ο καπνός του βασανισμού αυτών αναβαίνει εις αιώνας αιώνων, και δεν έχουσιν ανάπαυσιν ημέραν και νύκτα όσοι προσκυνούσι το θηρίον και την εικόνα αυτού και όστις λαμβάνει το χάραγμα του ονόματος αυτού. (aiōn g165)
and the smoke of their torment goes up through ages of ages; and they have no rest day and night, who are worshiping the beast and his image, also if any receive the mark of his name. (aiōn g165)
12 Εδώ είναι η υπομονή των αγίων, εδώ οι φυλάττοντες τας εντολάς του Θεού και την πίστιν του Ιησού.
Here is endurance of the holy ones; here [are] those keeping the commands of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
13 Και ήκουσα φωνήν εκ του ουρανού λέγουσαν προς εμέ· Γράψον, Μακάριοι οι νεκροί, οίτινες αποθνήσκουσιν εν Κυρίω από του νυν. Ναι, λέγει το Πνεύμα, διά να αναπαυθώσιν από των κόπων αυτών, και τα έργα αυτών ακολουθούσι με αυτούς.
And I heard a voice out of Heaven saying to me, “Write: Blessed are the dead who are dying in the LORD from this time!” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “That they may rest from their labors—and their works follow them!”
14 Και είδον, και ιδού, νεφέλη λευκή, και επί της νεφέλης εκάθητό τις όμοιος με υιόν ανθρώπου, έχων επί της κεφαλής αυτού στέφανον χρυσούν και εν τη χειρί αυτού δρέπανον κοπτερόν.
And I saw, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud [One] sitting like [a] Son of Man, having on His head a golden garland, and in His hand a sharp sickle;
15 Και άλλος άγγελος εξήλθεν εκ του ναού, κράζων μετά μεγάλης φωνής προς τον καθήμενον επί της νεφέλης. Πέμψον το δρέπανόν σου και θέρισον, διότι ήλθεν εις σε η ώρα του να θερίσης, επειδή εξηράνθη ο θερισμός της γης.
and another messenger came forth out of the temple crying in a great voice to Him who is sitting on the cloud, “Send forth Your sickle and reap, because the hour of reaping has come to You, because the harvest of the earth has been ripe”;
16 Και ο καθήμενος επί της νεφέλης έβαλε το δρέπανον αυτού επί την γην, και εθερίσθη η γη.
and He who is sitting on the cloud put forth His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.
17 Και άλλος άγγελος εξήλθεν εκ του ναού του εν τω ουρανώ, έχων και αυτός δρέπανον κοπτερόν.
And another messenger came forth out of the temple that [is] in Heaven, having—he also—a sharp sickle,
18 Και άλλος άγγελος εξήλθεν εκ του θυσιαστηρίου, έχων εξουσίαν επί του πυρός, και εφώναξε μετά κραυγής μεγάλης προς τον έχοντα το δρέπανον το κοπτερόν, λέγων· Πέμψον το δρέπανόν σου το κοπτερόν και τρύγησον τους βότρυας της αμπέλου της γης, διότι ωρίμασαν τα σταφύλια αυτής.
and another messenger came forth out from the altar, having authority over the fire, and he called with a great cry to him having the sharp sickle, saying, “Send forth your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, because her grapes have come to perfection”;
19 Και έβαλεν ο άγγελος το δρέπανον αυτού εις την γην και ετρύγησε την άμπελον της γης και έρριψε τα τρυγηθέντα εις τον μεγάλον ληνόν του θυμού του Θεού.
and the messenger put forth his sickle to the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast [it] into the great winepress of the wrath of God;
20 Και επατήθη ο ληνός έξω της πόλεως, και εξήλθεν αίμα εκ του ληνού έως των χαλινών των ίππων εις διάστημα χιλίων εξακοσίων σταδίων.
and the winepress was trodden outside of the city, and blood came forth out of the winepress—to the bridles of the horses, one thousand six hundred stadia.
