Ψαλμοί 68
1 «Εις τον πρώτον μουσικόν. Ψαλμός ωδής του Δαβίδ.» Ας εγερθή ο Θεός, και ας διασκορπισθώσιν οι εχθροί αυτού· και ας φύγωσιν απ' έμπροσθεν αυτού οι μισούντες αυτόν.
To him that excelleth. A Psalme or song of David. God will arise, and his enemies shalbe scattered: they also that hate him, shall flee before him.
2 Καθώς αφανίζεται ο καπνός, ούτως αφάνισον αυτούς· καθώς διαλύεται ο κηρός έμπροσθεν του πυρός, ούτως ας απολεσθώσιν οι ασεβείς από προσώπου του Θεού.
As the smoke vanisheth, so shalt thou driue them away: and as waxe melteth before the fire, so shall the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3 Οι δε δίκαιοι ας ευφραίνωνται· ας αγάλλωνται ενώπιον του Θεού· και ας τέρπωνται εν ευφροσύνη.
But the righteous shalbe glad, and reioyce before God: yea, they shall leape for ioye.
4 Ψάλλετε εις τον Θεόν· ψαλμωδείτε εις το όνομα αυτού· ετοιμάσατε τας οδούς εις τον επιβαίνοντα επί των ερήμων· Κύριος είναι το όνομα αυτού· και αγάλλεσθε ενώπιον αυτού.
Sing vnto God, and sing prayses vnto his name: exalt him that rideth vpon the heauens, in his Name Iah, and reioyce before him.
5 Πατήρ των ορφανών και κριτής των χηρών, είναι ο Θεός εν τω αγίω αυτού τόπω.
He is a Father of the fatherlesse, and a Iudge of the widowes, euen God in his holy habitation.
6 Ο Θεός κατοικίζει εις οικογένειαν τους μεμονωμένους· εξάγει τους δεσμίους εις αφθονίαν· οι δε αποστάται κατοικούσιν εν γη ανύδρω.
God maketh the solitarie to dwell in families, and deliuereth them that were prisoners in stocks: but the rebellious shall dwell in a dry land.
7 Θεέ, ότε εξήλθες έμπροσθεν του λαού σου, ότε περιεπάτεις διά της ερήμου· Διάψαλμα·
O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people: when thou wentest through the wildernesse, (Selah)
8 η γη εσείσθη, και αυτοί οι ουρανοί έσταξαν από προσώπου του Θεού· το Σινά αυτό εσείσθη από προσώπου του Θεού, του Θεού του Ισραήλ.
The earth shooke, and the heauens dropped at the presence of this God: euen Sinai was moued at the presence of God, euen the God of Israel.
9 Θεέ, έπεμψας βροχήν άφθονον εις την κληρονομίαν σου, και εν τη αδυναμία αυτής συ ανεζωοποίησας αυτήν.
Thou, O God, sendest a gracious raine vpon thine inheritance, and thou didest refresh it when it was wearie.
10 Η συναγωγή σου κατώκησεν εν αυτή· Θεέ, έκαμες ετοιμασίαν εις τον πτωχόν διά την αγαθότητά σου.
Thy Congregation dwelled therein: for thou, O God, hast of thy goodnesse prepared it for the poore.
11 Ο Κύριος έδωκε λόγον· οι ευαγγελιζόμενοι ήσαν στράτευμα μέγα.
The Lord gaue matter to the women to tell of the great armie.
12 Βασιλείς στρατευμάτων φεύγοντες έφυγον, και αι διαμένουσαι εν τη οικία εμοίραζον τα λάφυρα.
Kings of the armies did flee: they did flee, and she that remained in the house, deuided the spoyle.
13 Και αν εκοίτεσθε εν μέσω εστίας, όμως θέλετε είσθαι ως πτέρυγες περιστεράς περιηργυρωμένης, και της οποίας τα πτερά είναι περικεχρυσωμένα από κιτρίνου χρυσίου.
Though ye haue lien among pots, yet shall ye be as the winges of a doue that is couered with siluer, and whose fethers are like yelowe golde.
14 Ότε ο Παντοδύναμος διεσκόρπιζε βασιλείς εν αυτή, έγεινε λευκή ως η χιών εν Σαλμών.
When the Almightie scattered Kings in it, it was white as the snowe in Zalmon.
15 Το όρος του Θεού είναι ως το όρος της Βασάν· όρος υψηλόν ως το όρος της Βασάν.
The mountaine of God is like the mountaine of Bashan: it is an high Mountaine, as mount Bashan.
16 Διά τι ζηλοτυπείτε, όρη υψηλά; τούτο είναι το όρος, εν ω ευδόκησεν ο Θεός να κατοική· ο Κύριος, ναι, εν αυτώ θέλει κατοικεί εις τον αιώνα.
Why leape ye, ye high mountaines? as for this Mountaine, God deliteth to dwell in it: yea, the Lord will dwell in it for euer.
17 Αι άμαξαι του Θεού είναι δισμύριαι χιλιάδες χιλιάδων· ο Κύριος είναι μεταξύ αυτών ως εν Σινά, εν τω αγίω τόπω.
The charets of God are twentie thousande thousand Angels, and the Lord is among them, as in the Sanctuarie of Sinai.
18 Ανέβης εις ύψος· ηχμαλώτισας αιχμαλωσίαν· έλαβες χαρίσματα διά τους ανθρώπους· έτι δε και διά τους απειθείς, διά να κατοικής μεταξύ αυτών, Κύριε Θεέ.
Thou art gone vp on high: thou hast led captiuitie captiue, and receiued giftes for men: yea, euen the rebellious hast thou led, that the Lord God might dwell there.
19 Ευλογητός Κύριος, όστις καθ' ημέραν επιφορτίζεις ημάς αγαθά· ο Θεός της σωτηρίας ημών. Διάψαλμα.
Praysed be the Lord, euen the God of our saluation, which ladeth vs dayly with benefites. (Selah)
20 Ο Θεός ημών είναι Θεός σωτηρίας· και Κυρίου του Θεού είναι η λύτρωσις από του θανάτου.
This is our God, euen the God that saueth vs: and to the Lord God belong the issues of death.
21 Ο Θεός εξάπαντος θέλει συντρίψει την κεφαλήν των εχθρών αυτού· και την τετριχωμένην κορυφήν του περιπατούντος εν ταις ανομίαις αυτού.
Surely God will wound the head of his enemies, and the hearie pate of him that walketh in his sinnes.
22 Ο Κύριος είπε, Θέλω επαναφέρει εκ Βασάν, θέλω επαναφέρει τον λαόν μου εκ των βαθέων της θαλάσσης·
The Lord hath sayde, I will bring my people againe from Bashan: I will bring them againe from the depths of the Sea:
23 διά να βαφή ο πους σου εν τω αίματι των εχθρών σου και η γλώσσα των κυνών σου εξ αυτού.
That thy foote may bee dipped in blood, and the tongue of thy dogges in the blood of the enemies, euen in it.
24 Εθεωρήθησαν τα βήματά σου, Θεέ· τα βήματα του Θεού μου, του βασιλέως μου, εν τω αγιαστηρίω.
They haue seene, O God, thy goings, the goings of my God, and my King, which art in the Sanctuarie.
25 Προεπορεύοντο οι ψάλται· κατόπιν οι παίζοντες όργανα, εν τω μέσω νεάνιδες τυμπανίστριαι.
The singers went before, the players of instruments after: in the middes were the maides playing with timbrels.
26 Εν εκκλησίαις ευλογείτε τον Θεόν· ευλογείτε τον Κύριον, οι εκ της πηγής του Ισραήλ.
Praise yee God in the assemblies, and the Lord, ye that are of the fountaine of Israel.
27 Εκεί ήτο ο μικρός Βενιαμίν, ο αρχηγός αυτών· οι άρχοντες Ιούδα και ο λαός αυτών· οι άρχοντες Ζαβουλών και οι άρχοντες Νεφθαλί.
There was litle Beniamin with their ruler, and the princes of Iudah with their assemblie, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.
28 Διέταξεν ο Θεός σου την δύναμίν σου· στερέωσον, Θεέ, τούτο, το οποίον ενήργησας εις ημάς.
Thy God hath appointed thy strength: stablish, O God, that, which thou hast wrought in vs,
29 Διά τον ναόν σου τον εν Ιερουσαλήμ, βασιλείς θέλουσι προσφέρει εις σε δώρα.
Out of thy Temple vpon Ierusalem: and Kings shall bring presents vnto thee.
30 Επιτίμησον τα θηρία του καλαμώνος, το πλήθος των ταύρων και τους μόσχους των λαών, εωσού έκαστος προσφέρη υποταγήν με πλάκας αργυρίου· διασκόρπισον τους λαούς τους αγαπώντας πολέμους.
Destroy the company of the spearemen, and multitude of the mightie bulles with the calues of the people, that tread vnder feete pieces of siluer: scatter the people that delite in warre.
31 Θέλουσιν ελθεί μεγιστάνες εξ Αιγύπτου· η Αιθιοπία ταχέως θέλει εκτείνει τας χείρας αυτής προς τον Θεόν.
Then shall the princes come out of Egypt: Ethiopia shall hast to stretche her hands vnto God.
32 Αι βασιλείαι της γης, ψάλλετε εις τον Θεόν, ψαλμωδείτε εις τον Κύριον· Διάψαλμα·
Sing vnto God, O yee kingdomes of the earth: sing praise vnto the Lord, (Selah)
33 εις τον επιβαίνοντα επί τους ουρανούς των έκπαλαι ουρανών· ιδού εκπέμπει την φωνήν αυτού, φωνήν κραταιάν.
To him that rideth vpon ye most high heauens, which were from the beginning: beholde, he will send out by his voice a mightie sound.
34 Απόδοτε το κράτος εις τον Θεόν· η μεγαλοπρέπεια αυτού είναι επί τον Ισραήλ και η δύναμις αυτού επί τους ουρανούς.
Ascribe the power to God: for his maiestie is vpon Israel, and his strength is in the cloudes.
35 Φοβερός είσαι, Θεέ, εκ των αγιαστηρίων σου· ο Θεός του Ισραήλ είναι ο διδούς κράτος και δύναμιν εις τον λαόν αυτού. Ευλογητός ο Θεός.
O God, thou art terrible out of thine holie places: the God of Israel is hee that giueth strength and power vnto the people: praised be God.
