Ψαλμοί 45
1 «Εις τον πρώτον μουσικόν, επί Σοσανίμ, διά τους υιούς Κορέ· Μασχίλ· ωδή υπέρ του αγαπητού.» Η καρδία μου αναβρύει λόγον αγαθόν· εγώ λέγω τα έργα μου προς τον βασιλέα· η γλώσσα μου είναι κάλαμος γραμματέως ταχυγράφου.
To the Chief Musician. On Shoshannim. For the Sons of Korah. A Psalm of Instruction. A Song of Love. Overflowed hath my heart, with an excellent theme, I will recite my poem concerning the king, Be, my tongue, [like] the pen of a scribe who is skilled.
2 Συ είσαι ώραιότερος των υιών των ανθρώπων· εξεχύθη χάρις εις τα χείλη σου· διά τούτο σε ευλόγησεν ο Θεός εις τον αιώνα.
Most beautiful thou art, beyond the sons of men, Graciousness hath been poured forth by thy lips, For this cause, hath God blessed thee, to times age-abiding.
3 Περίζωσον την ρομφαίαν σου επί τον μηρόν σου, δυνατέ, εν τη δόξη σου και εν τη μεγαλοπρεπεία σου.
Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O mighty one, [’Tis] thine honour and thy majesty;
4 Και κατευοδού εν τη μεγαλειότητί σου και βασίλευε εν αληθεία και πραότητι και δικαιοσύνη· και η δεξιά σου θέλει σοι δείξει φοβερά πράγματα.
And, [in] thy majesty, be successful! ride forth! on behalf of faithfulness, and humility—righteousness, And let thine own right hand show thee wonderful things.
5 Τα βέλη σου είναι οξέα· λαοί υποκάτω σου θέλουσι πέσει· και αυτά θέλουσιν εμπηχθή εις την καρδίαν των εχθρών του βασιλέως.
Thine arrows, are sharp—Peoples, under thee, fall! In the heart of the foes of the king.
6 Ο θρόνος σου, Θεέ, είναι εις τον αιώνα του αιώνος· σκήπτρον ευθύτητος είναι το σκήπτρον της βασιλείας σου.
Thy throne, O God, is to times age-abiding and beyond, A sceptre of equity, is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
7 Ηγάπησας δικαιοσύνην και εμίσησας αδικίαν· διά τούτο έχρισέ σε ο Θεός, ο Θεός σου, έλαιον αγαλλιάσεως υπέρ τους μετόχους σου.
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated lawlessness, —For this cause, hath God, thine own God, anointed thee, With the oil of gladness, beyond thy partners.
8 Σμύρναν και αλόην και κασίαν ευοδιάζουσι πάντα τα ιμάτιά σου, όταν εξέρχησαι εκ των ελεφαντίνων παλατίων, διά των οποίων σε εύφραναν.
Myrrh and aloes, cassias, all thy garments, —Out of the palaces of ivory, the tones of strings, have rejoiced thee.
9 Θυγατέρες βασιλέων παρίστανται εν ταις τιμαίς σου· η βασίλισσα εστάθη εκ δεξιών σου εστολισμένη με χρυσίον Οφείρ.
Daughters of kings, are among thine honourable women, Stationed is the bride at thy right hand, in gold of Ophir.
10 Άκουσον, θύγατερ, και ιδέ, και κλίνον το ωτίον σου· και λησμόνησον τον λαόν σου και τον οίκον του πατρός σου·
Hearken, O daughter, and observe, Incline also thine ear, Forget, then, thine own people, And the house of thy father;
11 και θέλει επιθυμήσει ο βασιλεύς το κάλλος σου· διότι αυτός είναι ο κύριός σου· και προσκύνησον αυτόν.
When the king shall desire thy beauty, Surely, he, is thy lord, then bow down to him.
12 Και η θυγάτηρ της Τύρου θέλει παρασταθή με δώρα· το πρόσωπόν σου θέλουσιν ικετεύσει οι πλούσιοι του λαού.
Also, the daughter of Tyre, [cometh in] with a present! Thy face, shall the rich of the people appease.
13 Όλη η δόξα της θυγατρός του βασιλέως είναι έσωθεν· το ένδυμα αυτής είναι χρυσοΰφαντον.
All glorious—the daughter of a king [sitteth] within, Brocades, wrought with gold, [are] her clothing!
14 Θέλει φερθή προς τον βασιλέα με ιμάτιον κεντητόν· παρθένοι σύντροφοι αυτής, κατόπιν αυτής, θέλουσι φερθή εις σε.
In embroidered raiment, shall she be brought unto the king—The virgins that follow her, her companions, are to be conducted unto thee:
15 Θέλουσι φερθή εν ευφροσύνη και αγαλλιάσει· θέλουσιν εισέλθει εις το παλάτιον του βασιλέως.
They shall be brought, with rejoicings and exultation, —They shall enter into the palace of the king!
16 Αντί των πατέρων σου θέλουσιν είσθαι οι υιοί σου· αυτούς θέλεις καταστήσει άρχοντας επί πάσαν την γην.
Instead of thy fathers, be thy sons, Thou shalt make them rulers in all the earth.
17 Θέλω μνημονεύει το όνομά σου εις πάσας τας γενεάς· διά τούτο οι λαοί θέλουσι σε υμνεί εις αιώνα αιώνος.
I will keep in remembrance thy Name, through each succeeding generation, For this cause, peoples, shall praise thee, to times age-abiding and beyond.
