Ψαλμοί 29

1 «Ψαλμός του Δαβίδ.» Απόδοτε εις τον Κύριον, υιοί των δυνατών, απόδοτε εις τον Κύριον δόξαν και κράτος.

A Psalm of David. Give to the LORD, O ye mighty, give to the LORD glory and strength.

2 Απόδοτε εις τον Κύριον την δόξαν του ονόματος αυτού· προσκυνήσατε τον Κύριον εν τω μεγαλοπρεπεί αγιαστηρίω αυτού.

Give to the LORD, the glory due to his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

3 Η φωνή του Κυρίου είναι επί των υδάτων· ο Θεός της δόξης βροντά· ο Κύριος είναι επί υδάτων πολλών.

The voice of the LORD [is] upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD [is] upon many waters.

4 Η φωνή του Κυρίου είναι δυνατή· η φωνή του Κυρίου είναι μεγαλοπρεπής.

The voice of the LORD [is] powerful; the voice of the LORD [is] full of majesty.

5 Η φωνή του Κυρίου συντρίβει κέδρους· και συντρίβει Κύριος τας κέδρους του Λιβάνου·

The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yes, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

6 Και κάμνει αυτάς να σκιρτώσιν ως μόσχος τον Λίβανον και το Σιριών ως νέος μονόκερως.

He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

7 Η φωνή του Κυρίου καταδιαιρεί τας φλόγας του πυρός.

The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.

8 Η φωνή του Κυρίου σείει την έρημον· ο Κύριος σείει την έρημον Κάδης.

The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

9 Η φωνή του Κυρίου κάμνει να κοιλοπονώσιν αι έλαφοι και γυμνόνει τα δάση· εν δε τω ναώ αυτού πας τις κηρύττει την δόξαν αυτού.

The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and maketh bare the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of [his] glory.

10 Ο Κύριος κάθηται επί τον κατακλυσμόν· και κάθηται ο Κύριος Βασιλεύς εις τον αιώνα.

The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yes, the LORD sitteth king for ever.

11 Ο Κύριος θέλει δώσει δύναμιν εις τον λαόν αυτού· ο Κύριος θέλει ευλογήσει τον λαόν αυτού εν ειρήνη.

The LORD will give strength to his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
