Ἀριθμοί 9

1 Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν εν τη ερήμω Σινά, τον πρώτον μήνα του δευτέρου έτους αφού εξήλθον εκ γης Αιγύπτου, λέγων,

And the LORD spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

2 Ας κάμνωσιν οι υιοί Ισραήλ το πάσχα εν τω καιρώ αυτού·

Let the children of Israel also keep the passover at his appointed season.

3 την δεκάτην τετάρτην ημέραν τούτου του μηνός προς εσπέραν θέλετε κάμει αυτό, κατά τον καιρόν αυτού· κατά πάντα τα νόμιμα αυτού και κατά πάσας τας τελετάς αυτού θέλετε κάμει αυτό.

In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, all of you shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall all of you keep it.

4 Και ελάλησεν ο Μωϋσής προς τους υιούς Ισραήλ διά να κάμωσι το πάσχα.

And Moses spoke unto the children of Israel, that they should keep the passover.

5 Και έκαμον το πάσχα την δεκάτην τετάρτην του πρώτου μηνός προς εσπέραν εν τη ερήμω Σινά· κατά πάντα όσα προσέταξε Κύριος εις τον Μωϋσήν, ούτως έκαμον οι υιοί Ισραήλ.

And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.

6 Και ευρίσκοντο τινές, οίτινες ήσαν ακάθαρτοι από νεκρού σώματος ανθρώπου και δεν ηδύναντο να κάμωσι το πάσχα εκείνην την ημέραν· και ήλθον έμπροσθεν του Μωϋσέως και έμπροσθεν του Ααρών την ημέραν εκείνην.

And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day:

7 Και είπον οι άνδρες εκείνοι προς αυτόν, Ημείς είμεθα ακάθαρτοι από νεκρού σώματος ανθρώπου· διά τι εμποδιζόμεθα να προσφέρωμεν το δώρον του Κυρίου εν τω καιρώ αυτού μεταξύ των υιών Ισραήλ;

And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel?

8 Και είπε προς αυτούς ο Μωϋσής, Στήτε αυτού και θέλω ακούσει τι θέλει προστάξει ο Κύριος διά σας.

And Moses said unto them, Stand still, and I will hear what the LORD will command concerning you.

9 Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν, λέγων,

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

10 Ειπέ προς τους υιούς Ισραήλ λέγων, Εάν τις άνθρωπος εξ υμών ή εκ των γενεών υμών γείνη ακάθαρτος από νεκρού σώματος, ή ήναι εις οδόν μακράν, θέλει κάμει το πάσχα εις τον Κύριον·

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey far off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.

11 την δεκάτην του δευτέρου μηνός προς εσπέραν θέλουσι κάμει αυτό και μετά αζύμων και πικραλίδων θέλουσι φάγει αυτό.

The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

12 Δεν θέλουσιν αφήσει εξ αυτού μέχρι πρωΐας ουδέ θέλουσι συντρίψει οστούν εξ αυτού· κατά πάντα τα νόμιμα του πάσχα θέλουσι κάμει αυτό.

They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.

13 Και ο άνθρωπος όστις καθαρός ων, και μη ευρισκόμενος εις οδόν, λείψη από του να κάμη το πάσχα, θέλει εξολοθρευθή η ψυχή εκείνη εκ του λαού αυτής· επειδή δεν προσέφερε το δώρον του Κυρίου εν τω καιρώ αυτού, ο άνθρωπος εκείνος θέλει βαστάσει την αμαρτίαν αυτού.

But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbears to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.

14 Εάν δε παροική ξένος μεταξύ σας και κάμη το πάσχα εις τον Κύριον κατά τα νόμιμα του πάσχα και κατά τας τελετάς αυτού, ούτω θέλει κάμει αυτό· τον αυτόν νόμον θέλετε έχει και διά τον ξένον και διά τον αυτόχθονα.

And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: all of you shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.

15 Και την ημέραν καθ' ην εστήθη η σκηνή, εκάλυψεν η νεφέλη την σκηνήν, τον οίκον του μαρτυρίου· και από εσπέρας έως πρωΐ ήτο επί της σκηνής ως είδος πυρός.

And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning.

16 Ούτως εγίνετο πάντοτε· η νεφέλη εκάλυπτεν αυτήν την ημέραν και είδος πυρός την νύκτα.

So it was always: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.

17 Και ότε ανέβαινεν η νεφέλη από της σκηνής, τότε εσηκόνοντο οι υιοί Ισραήλ· και εν τω τόπω, όπου ίστατο η νεφέλη, εκεί εστρατοπέδευον οι υιοί Ισραήλ.

And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.

18 Κατά την προσταγήν του Κυρίου εσηκόνοντο οι υιοί Ισραήλ και κατά την προσταγήν του Κυρίου εστρατοπέδευον· πάσας τας ημέρας καθ' ας η νεφέλη έκειτο επί της σκηνής, έμενον εστρατοπεδευμένοι.

At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents.

19 Και ότε η νεφέλη διέμενεν επί της σκηνής πολλάς ημέρας, τότε οι υιοί Ισραήλ εφύλαττον τας φυλακάς του Κυρίου και δεν εσηκόνοντο.

And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD, and journeyed not.

20 Και οπότε μεν η νεφέλη ίστατο επί της σκηνής οσασδήποτε ημέρας, κατά την προσταγήν του Κυρίου έμενον εστρατοπεδευμένοι και κατά την προσταγήν του Κυρίου εσηκόνοντο.

And so it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed.

21 Οπότε δε η νεφέλη ίστατο από εσπέρας έως πρωΐ, το δε πρωΐ ανέβαινεν η νεφέλη, τότε αυτοί εσηκόνοντο· είτε την ημέραν είτε την νύκτα ανέβαινεν η νεφέλη, τότε αυτοί εσηκόνοντο.

And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.

22 Δύο ημέρας ή ένα μήνα ή εν έτος εάν διέμενεν η νεφέλη επί της σκηνής, ισταμένη επ' αυτής, έμενον εστρατοπεδευμένοι οι υιοί Ισραήλ και δεν εσηκόνοντο· ότε δε αυτή ανέβαινεν, εσηκόνοντο.

Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed.

23 Κατά την προσταγήν του Κυρίου εστρατοπέδευον και κατά την προσταγήν του Κυρίου εσηκόνοντο· εφύλαττον τας φυλακάς του Κυρίου, καθώς προσέταξεν ο Κύριος διά χειρός του Μωϋσέως.

At the commandment of the LORD they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of the LORD they journeyed: they kept the charge of the LORD, at the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
