Λευϊτικόν 24
1 Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν, λέγων,
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 Πρόσταξον τους υιούς Ισραήλ να φέρωσι προς σε έλαιον καθαρόν από ελαίας κοπανισμένας διά το φως, διά να καίη ο λύχνος διαπαντός.
Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee the finest and dearest oil of olives, to furnish the lamps continually,
3 Έξωθεν του καταπετάσματος του μαρτυρίου, εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου, θέλει βάλει αυτόν ο Ααρών από εσπέρας έως το πρωΐ ενώπιον του Κυρίου διαπαντός· νόμιμον αιώνιον θέλει είσθαι εις τας γενεάς σας.
Without the veil of the testimony in the tabernacle of the covenant. And Aaron shall set them from evening until morning before the Lord, by a perpetual service and rite in your generations.
4 Επί την λυχνίαν την καθαράν θέλει διαθέσει τους λύχνους ενώπιον του Κυρίου πάντοτε.
They shall be set upon the most pure candlestick before the Lord continually.
5 Και θέλεις λάβει σεμίδαλιν και θέλεις εψήσει απ' αυτής δώδεκα άρτους· δύο δέκατα θέλει είσθαι έκαστος άρτος.
Thou shalt take also fine hour, and shalt bake twelve leaves thereof, two tenths shall be in every loaf:
6 Και θέλεις βάλει αυτούς εις δύο σειράς, εξ κατά την σειράν, επί την τράπεζαν την καθαράν ενώπιον του Κυρίου.
And thou shalt set them six and six one against another upon the most clean table before the Lord:
7 Και θέλεις βάλει εφ' εκάστην σειράν λιβάνιον καθαρόν, και θέλει είσθαι επί τον άρτον προς μνημόσυνον, εις προσφοράν γινομένην διά πυρός προς τον Κύριον.
And thou shalt put upon them the dearest frankincense, that the bread may be for a memorial of the oblation of the Lord.
8 Πάσαν ημέραν σαββάτου θέλει διαθέσει ταύτα διαπαντός ενώπιον του Κυρίου, παρά των υιών Ισραήλ εις διαθήκην αιώνιον.
Every sabbath they shall be changed before the Lord, being received of the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant:
9 Και θέλουσιν είσθαι του Ααρών και των υιών αυτού· και θέλουσι τρώγει αυτά εν τόπω αγίω διότι είναι αγιώτατα εις αυτόν εκ των διά πυρός γινομένων προσφορών του Κυρίου εις νόμιμον αιώνιον.
And they shall be Aaron’s and his sons’, that they may eat them in the holy place: because it is most holy of the sacrifices of the Lord by a perpetual right.
10 Και εξήλθεν υιός γυναικός τινός Ισραηλίτιδος, όστις ήτο υιός ανδρός Αιγυπτίου, μεταξύ των υιών Ισραήλ· και εμάχοντο εν τω στρατοπέδω ο υιός της Ισραηλίτιδος και άνθρωπός τις Ισραηλίτης.
And behold there went out the son of a woman of Israel, whom she had of an Egyptian, among the children of Israel, and fell at words in the camp with a man of Israel.
11 Και εβλασφήμησεν ο υιός της γυναικός της Ισραηλίτιδος το όνομα του Κυρίου και κατηράσθη· και έφεραν αυτόν προς τον Μωϋσήν. Και το όνομα της μητρός αυτού ήτο Σελωμείθ, θυγάτηρ του Διβρεί, εκ της φυλής Δαν.
And when he had blasphemed the name, and had cursed it, he was brought to Moses: (now his mother was called Salumith, the daughter of Dabri, of the tribe of Dan: )
12 Και έβαλον αυτόν εις φυλακήν, εωσού φανερωθή εις αυτούς η θέλησις του Κυρίου.
And they put him into prison, till they might know what the Lord would command.
13 Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν, λέγων,
And the Lord spoke to Moses,
14 Φέρε έξω του στρατοπέδου εκείνον όστις κατηράσθη· και ας θέσωσι πάντες οι ακούσαντες αυτόν τας χείρας αυτών επί την κεφαλήν αυτού, και ας λιθοβολήση αυτόν πάσα η συναγωγή.
Saying: Bring forth the blasphemer without the camp, and let them that heard him, put their hands upon his head, and let all the people stone him.
15 Και λάλησον προς τους υιούς Ισραήλ, λέγων, Όστις καταρασθή τον Θεόν αυτού, Θέλει βαστάσει την ανομίαν αυτού·
And thou shalt speak to the children of Israel: the man that curseth his God, shall bear his sin:
16 και όστις βλασφημήση το όνομα του Κυρίου, εξάπαντος θέλει θανατωθή· με λίθους θέλει λιθοβολήσει αυτόν πάσα η συναγωγή· άντε ξένος, άντε αυτόχθων, όταν βλασφημήση το όνομα του Κυρίου, θέλει θανατωθή.
And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, dying let him die: all the multitude shall stone him, whether he be a native or a stranger. He that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, dying let him die.
17 Και όστις φονεύση άνθρωπον, εξάπαντος θέλει θανατωθή.
He that striketh and killeth a man, dying let him die.
18 Και όστις θανατώση κτήνος, θέλει ανταποδώσει ζώον αντί ζώου.
He that killeth a beast, shall make it good, that is to say, shall give beast for beast.
19 Και εάν τις κάμη βλάβην εις τον πλησίον αυτού, καθώς έκαμεν, ούτω θέλει γείνει εις αυτόν·
He that giveth a blemish to any of his neighbours: as he hath done, so shall it be done to him:
20 σύντριμμα αντί συντρίμματος, οφθαλμόν αντί οφθαλμού, οδόντα αντί οδόντος· καθώς έκαμε βλάβην εις τον άνθρωπον, ούτω θέλει γείνει εις αυτόν.
Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, shall he restore. What blemish he gave, the like shall he be compelled to suffer.
21 Και όστις θανατώση κτήνος, θέλει ανταποδώσει αυτό· και όστις φονεύσει άνθρωπον, θέλει θανατωθή.
He that striketh a beast, shall render another. He that striketh a man shall be punished.
22 Κρίσις μία θέλει είσθαι εις εσάς· ως εις τον ξένον, ούτω θέλει γίνεσθαι και εις τον αυτόχθονα· διότι εγώ είμαι Κύριος ο Θεός σας.
Let there be equal judgment among you, whether he be a stranger, or a native that offends: because I am the Lord your God.
23 Και είπεν ο Μωϋσής προς τους υιούς Ισραήλ, και έφεραν έξω του στρατοπέδου εκείνον όστις κατηράσθη και ελιθοβόλησαν αυτόν με λίθους· και οι υιοί Ισραήλ έκαμον καθώς προσέταξεν ο Κύριος εις τον Μωϋσήν.
And Moses spoke to the children of Israel: and they brought forth him that had blasphemed, without the camp, and they stoned him. And the children of Israel did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
