Ἰησοῦς Nαυῆ 15
1 Ο δε κλήρος της φυλής των υιών Ιούδα κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών ήτο εις τα όρια της Ιδουμαίας· η έρημος Σιν η προς νότον ήτο το άκρον το μεσημβρινόν.
[This] then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; [even] to the border of Edom, the wilderness of Zin southward [was] the uttermost part of the south border.
2 Και τα μεσημβρινά αυτών όρια ήσαν από των παραλίων της αλμυράς θαλάσσης, από του κόλπου του βλέποντος προς μεσημβρίαν·
And their south border was from the shore of the salt-sea, from the bay that looketh southward:
3 και εξετείνοντο προς το μεσημβρινόν μέρος εις την ανάβασιν Ακραββίμ, και διέβαινον εις Σιν και ανέβαινον από μεσημβρίας εις Κάδης-βαρνή, και διέβαινον την Εσρών και ανέβαινον εις Αδδάρ και έστρεφον προς Καρκαά·
And it went out to the south side to Maaleh-acrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended on the south side to Kadesh-barnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:
4 και διέβαινον εις Ασμών και εξήρχοντο έως του χειμάρρου της Αιγύπτου, και ετελείονον τα όρια εις την θάλασσαν· ταύτα θέλουσιν είσθαι τα μεσημβρινά όριά σας.
[From thence] it passed towards Azmon, and went out to the river of Egypt; and the limits of that border were at the sea: this shall be your south limit.
5 Το δε ανατολικόν όριον ήτο η θάλασσα η αλμυρά, έως άκρου του Ιορδάνου. Και το όριον κατά το βόρειον μέρος ήρχετο από του κόλπου της θαλάσσης κατά το άκρον του Ιορδάνου·
And the east border [was] the salt-sea, [even] to the end of Jordan: and [their] border in the north quarter [was] from the bay of the sea, at the uttermost part of Jordan:
6 και ανέβαινε το όριον έως Βαιθ-ογλά, και διέβαινεν από βορρά της Βαιθ-αραβά· και ανέβαινε το όριον έως του λίθου του Βοάν υιού του Ρουβήν·
And the border went up to Beth-hogla, and passed along by the north of Beth-arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:
7 και ανέβαινε το όριον προς Δεβείρ από της κοιλάδος Αχώρ, και εξετείνετο προς βορράν βλέπον εις Γάλγαλα, την κατέναντι της αναβάσεως Αδουμμίμ, ήτις είναι προς το μεσημβρινόν του ποταμού· έπειτα διέβαινε το όριον επί τα ύδατα του Εν-σεμές, και εξήρχετο εις Εν-ρωγήλ·
And the border went up towards Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward looking towards Gilgal, that [is] before the going up to Adummim, which [is] on the south side of the river: and the border passed towards the waters of En-shemesh, and the borders of it were at En-rogel:
8 και ανέβαινε το όριον διά της φάραγγος του υιού του Εννόμ κατά το μεσημβρινόν πλάγιον της Ιεβούς· αύτη είναι η Ιερουσαλήμ· και ανέβαινε το όριον εις την κορυφήν του όρους, του κατέναντι της φάραγγος Εννόμ προς δυσμάς, ήτις είναι εις το τέλος της κοιλάδος των Ραφαείμ προς βορράν·
And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom, to the south side of the Jebusite; the same [is] Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that [lieth] before the valley of Hinnom westward, which [is] at the end of the valley of the giants northward:
9 και διέβαινε το όριον από της κορυφής του όρους έως της πηγής των υδάτων Νεφθωά, και εξήρχετο εις τας κωμοπόλεις του όρους Εφρών· και διευθύνετο το όριον εις Βααλά, ήτις είναι η Κιριάθ-ιαρείμ·
And the border was drawn from the top of the hill to the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which [is] Kirjath-jearim:
10 και έστρεφε το όριον από Βααλά προς δυσμάς εις το όρος Σηείρ, και διέβαινεν εις το πλάγιον του όρους Ιαρείμ, όπου είναι η Χασαλών, προς βορράν· και κατέβαινεν εις την Βαιθ-σεμές και διέβαινεν εις Θαμνά·
And the border compassed from Baalah westward to mount Seir, and passed along to the side of mount Jearim (which [is] Chesalon) on the north side, and went down to Beth-shemesh, and passed on to Timnah:
11 έπειτα εξήρχετο το όριον εις το πλάγιον της Ακκαρών προς βορράν· και διευθύνετο το όριον εις Σικρών, και διέβαινεν εις το όρος της Βααλά, και εξήρχετο εις Ιαβνήλ, και έκαμνε το όριον διέξοδον εις την θάλασσαν.
And the border went out to the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out to Jabneel; and the terminations of the border were at the sea.
12 Και το όριον το δυτικόν ήτο η θάλασσα η μεγάλη και τα παράλια. Ταύτα είναι τα όρια των υιών Ιούδα κύκλω, κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών.
And the west border [was] to the great sea, and its coast: this [is] the border of the children of Judah round about, according to their families.
13 Και εις τον Χάλεβ τον υιόν του Ιεφοννή έδωκε μερίδιον μεταξύ των υιών Ιούδα, κατά την προσταγήν του Κυρίου την προς τον Ιησούν, την πόλιν του Αρβά πατρός του Ανάκ, ήτις είναι η Χεβρών.
And to Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, [even] the city of Arba the father of Anak, which [city is] Hebron.
14 Και εξεδίωξεν εκείθεν ο Χάλεβ τους τρεις υιούς του Ανάκ, τον Σεσαΐ και τον Αχιμάν και τον Θαλμαΐ, τους υιούς του Ανάκ.
And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
15 Και εκείθεν ανέβη επί τους κατοίκους της Δεβείρ· το δε όνομα της Δεβείρ πρότερον ήτο Κιριάθ-σεφέρ.
And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before [was] Kirjath-sepher.
16 Και είπεν ο Χάλεβ, Όστις πατάξη την Κιριάθ-σεφέρ και κυριεύση αυτήν, θέλω δώσει εις τούτον Αχσάν την θυγατέρα μου εις γυναίκα.
And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjath-sepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter for a wife.
17 Και εκυρίευσεν αυτήν Γοθονιήλ ο υιός του Κενέζ αδελφός του Χάλεβ· και έδωκεν εις αυτόν Αχσάν την θυγατέρα αυτού εις γυναίκα.
And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter for a wife.
18 Και αυτή, ότε απήρχετο, παρεκίνησεν αυτόν να ζητήση παρά του πατρός αυτής αγρόν· και κατέβη από του όνου, και είπε προς αυτήν ο Χάλεβ, Τι θέλεις;
And it came to pass, as she came [to him], that she moved him to ask of her father a field. And she lighted off [her] ass; and Caleb said to her, What wouldst thou?
19 Η δε είπε, Δος μοι ευλογίαν· επειδή έδωκας εις εμέ γην μεσημβρινήν, δος μοι και πηγάς υδάτων. Και έδωκεν εις αυτήν τας άνω πηγάς και τας κάτω πηγάς.
Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land, give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.
20 Αύτη είναι η κληρονομία της φυλής των υιών Ιούδα κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών.
This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.
21 Και ήσαν αι έσχαται πόλεις της φυλής των υιών Ιούδα προς τα όρια της Εδώμ προς μεσημβρίαν, Καβσεήλ, και Εδέρ, και Ιαγούρ,
And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah towards the border of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,
22 και Κινά, και Διμωνά, και Αδαδά,
And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
23 και Κέδες, και Ασώρ, και Ιθνάν,
And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
24 Ζιφ, και Τελέμ, και Βαλώθ,
Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
25 και Ασώρ, Αδαττά, και Κιριώθ-εσρών, η και Ασώρ,
And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, [and] Hezron, which [is] Hazor,
26 Αμάμ, και Σεμά, και Μωλαδά,
Aman, and Shema, and Moladah,
27 και Ασάρ-γαδδά, και Εσεμών, και Βαιθ-φαλέθ,
And Hazar-gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-palet,
28 και Ασάρ-σουάλ, και Βηρ-σαβεέ, και Βιζιοθιά,
And Hazar-shual, and Beer-sheba, and Bizjothjah,
29 Βααλά, και Ιείμ, και Ασέμ,
Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,
30 και Ελθωλάδ, και Χεσίλ, και Ορμά,
And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,
31 και Σικλάγ, και Μαδμαννά, και Σανσαννά,
And Ziglag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,
32 και Λεβαώθ, και Σιλεείμ, και Αείν, και Ριμμών· πάσαι αι πόλεις είκοσι εννέα, και αι κώμαι αυτών.
And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities [are] twenty and nine, with their villages:
33 Εν τη πεδινή ήσαν Εσθαόλ, και Σαραά, και Ασνά,
[And] in the valley, Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
34 και Ζανωά, και Εν-γαννίμ, Θαπφουά, και Ηνάμ,
And Zanoah, and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam,
35 Ιαρμούθ, και Οδολλάμ, Σωχώ, και Αζηκά,
Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,
36 και Σαγαρείμ, και Αδιθαείμ, και Γεδηρά, και αι επαύλεις αυτών, πόλεις δεκατέσσαρες, και αι κώμαι αυτών.
And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities with their villages:
37 Σενάν, και Αδασά, και Μάγδαλ-γαδ,
Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdalgad,
38 και Διλαάν, και Μισπά, και Ιοκθεήλ,
And Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,
39 Λαχείς, και Βασκάθ, και Εγλών,
Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
40 και Χαββών, και Λαμάς, και Χιθλείς,
And Cabbon, and Lahman, and Kithlish,
41 και Γεδηρώθ, Βαιθ-δαγών, και Νααμά, και Μακκηδά, πόλεις δεκαέξ, και αι κώμαι αυτών.
And Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities with their villages:
42 Λιβνά, και Εθέρ, και Ασάν,
Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
43 και Ιεφθά, και Ασνά, και Νεσίβ,
And Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
44 και Κεειλά, και Αχζίβ, και Μαρησά, πόλεις εννέα, και αι κώμαι αυτών.
And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities with their villages:
45 Ακκαρών, και αι κωμοπόλεις αυτής, και αι κώμαι αυτής·
Ekron, with her towns and her villages:
46 από της Ακκαρών έως της θαλάσσης, πάσαι αι πλησίον της Αζώτου, και αι κώμαι αυτών.
From Ekron even to the sea, all that [lay] near Ashdod, with their villages:
47 Άζωτος, αι κωμοπόλεις αυτής και αι κώμαι αυτής, Γάζα, αι κωμοπόλεις αυτής και αι κώμαι αυτής, έως του χειμάρρου της Αιγύπτου, και η θάλασσα η μεγάλη το όριον.
Ashdod, with her towns and her villages; Gaza, with her towns and her villages, to the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and its border:
48 Και εν τη ορεινή, Σαμείρ, και Ιαθείρ, και Σωχώ,
And in the mountains, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,
49 και Δαννά, και Κιριάθ-σαννά, ήτις είναι η Δεβείρ,
And Dannah, and Kirjath-sannah, which [is] Debir,
50 και Ανάβ, και Εσθεμώ, και Ανείμ,
And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,
51 και Γεσέν, και Ωλών, και Γιλώ, πόλεις ένδεκα, και αι κώμαι αυτών.
And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh: eleven cities with their villages:
52 Αράβ, και Δουμά, και Εσάν,
Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,
53 και Ιανούμ, και Βαιθ-θαπφουά, και Αφεκά,
And Janum, and Beth-tappuah, and Aphekah,
54 και Χουματά, και Κιριάθ-αρβά, ήτις είναι η Χεβρών, και Σιώρ, πόλεις εννέα, και αι κώμαι αυτών.
And Humtah, and Kirjath-arba (which [is] Hebron) and Zior; nine cities with their villages:
55 Μαών, Καρμέλ, και Ζιφ, και Ιουτά,
Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,
56 και Ιεζραέλ, και Ιοκδεάμ, και Ζανωά,
And Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,
57 Ακαΐν, Γαβαά, και Θαμνά, πόλεις δέκα, και αι κώμαι αυτών.
Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities with their villages:
58 Αλούλ, Βαιθ-σούρ, και Γεδώρ,
Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,
59 και Μααράθ, και Βαιθ-ανώθ, και Ελτεκών, πόλεις εξ, και αι κώμαι αυτών.
And Maarath, and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon; six cities with their villages:
60 Κιριάθ-βαάλ, ήτις είναι η Κιριάθ-ιαρείμ, και Ραββά, πόλεις δύο, και αι κώμαι αυτών.
Kirjath-baal (which [is] Kirjath-jearim) and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:
61 Εν τη ερήμω, Βαιθ-αραβά, Μιδδίν, και Σεχαχά,
In the wilderness, Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah,
62 και Νιβσάν, και η πόλις του άλατος, και Εν-γαδδί, πόλεις εξ, και αι κώμαι αυτών.
And Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and En-gedi; six cities with their villages.
63 τους δε Ιεβουσαίους, τους κατοικούντας την Ιερουσαλήμ, οι υιοί Ιούδα δεν ηδυνήθησαν να εκδιώξωσιν αυτούς· αλλά κατοικούσιν οι Ιεβουσαίοι μετά των υιών Ιούδα εν τη Ιερουσαλήμ έως της ημέρας ταύτης.
As for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not expel them: but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem to this day.
