Ἰησοῦς Nαυῆ 14
1 Και ούτοι είναι οι τόποι, τους οποίους οι υιοί Ισραήλ εκληρονόμησαν εν τη γη Χαναάν, τους οποίους εκληροδότησαν εις αυτούς Ελεάζαρ ο ιερεύς και Ιησούς ο υιός του Ναυή και οι αρχηγοί των πατριών των φυλών των υιών Ισραήλ.
And these [are that] which they inherited [the] people of Israel in [the] land of Canaan which they gave as a possession them Eleazar the priest and Joshua [the] son of Nun and [the] leaders of [the] fathers of the tribes of [the] people of Israel.
2 Διά κλήρου έγεινεν η κληρονομία των εννέα τούτων φυλών και της ημισείας φυλής, καθώς προσέταξεν ο Κύριος διά του Μωϋσέως.
By [the] allotted portion of inheritance their just as he had commanded Yahweh by [the] hand of Moses for [the] nine the tribes and [the] half of the tribe.
3 Διότι ο Μωϋσής είχε δώσει την κληρονομίαν των δύο φυλών και της ημισείας φυλής από του πέραν του Ιορδάνου· εις τους Λευΐτας όμως δεν έδωκε κληρονομίαν μεταξύ αυτών.
For he had given Moses [the] inheritance of [the] two the tribes and [the] half of the tribe from [the] other side of the Jordan and to the Levites not he had given an inheritance in midst of them.
4 Διότι οι υιοί Ιωσήφ ήσαν δύο φυλαί, του Μανασσή και του Εφραΐμ· και δεν έδωκαν εις τους Λευΐτας μερίδιον εν τη γη ειμή πόλεις διά να κατοικώσι, μετά των προαστείων αυτών, διά τα κτήνη αυτών και διά την περιουσίαν αυτών.
For they were [the] descendants of Joseph two tribes Manasseh and Ephraim and not people gave a portion to the Levites in the land that except cities to dwell in and pasture lands their for livestock their and for possession[s] their.
5 Καθώς προσέταξε Κύριος εις τον Μωϋσήν, ούτως έκαμον οι υιοί Ισραήλ, και διεμοίρασαν την γην.
Just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses so they did [the] people of Israel and they apportioned the land.
6 Και προσήλθον οι υιοί Ιούδα προς τον Ιησούν εις Γάλγαλα, και είπε προς αυτόν Χάλεβ ο υιός του Ιεφοννή ο Κενεζαίος, Συ εξεύρεις τον λόγον τον οποίον ελάλησεν ο Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν, τον άνθρωπον του Θεού, περί εμού και σου εν Κάδης-βαρνή·
And they approached [the] descendants of Judah to Joshua at Gilgal and he said to him Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite you you know the word which he spoke Yahweh to Moses [the] man of God on causes my and on causes your at Kadesh Barnea.
7 ήμην τεσσαράκοντα ετών ηλικίας, ότε με απέστειλεν ο Μωϋσής ο δούλος του Κυρίου από Κάδης-βαρνή διά να κατασκοπεύσω την γήν· και απήγγειλα προς αυτόν λόγον, όστις ήτο εν τη καρδία μου·
[was] a son of Forty year[s] I when sent Moses [the] servant of Yahweh me from Kadesh Barnea to spy out the land and I brought back him a word just as with heart my.
8 οι αδελφοί μου όμως, οι συναναβάντες μετ' εμού, ενέκρωσαν την καρδίαν του λαού· αλλ' εγώ ηκολούθησα εντελώς Κύριον τον Θεόν μου·
And brothers my who they went up with me they melted [the] heart of the people and I I filled after Yahweh God my.
9 και ώμοσεν ο Μωϋσής την ημέραν εκείνην λέγων, Εξάπαντος η γη, την οποίαν επάτησαν οι πόδες σου, θέλει είσθαι κληρονομία ιδική σου και των υιών σου διαπαντός· διότι εντελώς ηκολούθησας Κύριον τον Θεόν μου·
And he swore an oath Moses on the day that saying if not the land which it trod foot your on it of you it will become an inheritance and of children your until perpetuity for you filled after Yahweh God my.
10 και τώρα, ιδού, ο Κύριος με εφύλαξε ζώντα, καθώς είπε, τα τεσσαράκοντα πέντε ταύτα έτη, αφ' ης ημέρας ελάλησεν ο Κύριος τον λόγον τούτον προς τον Μωϋσήν, ότε ο Ισραήλ επορεύετο εν τη ερήμω· και τώρα, ιδού, εγώ είμαι σήμερον ογδοήκοντα πέντε ετών ηλικίας·
And now here! he has let live Yahweh - me just as he spoke this forty and five year[s] from then he spoke Yahweh the word this to Moses when it walked Israel in the wilderness and now here! I this day [am] a son of five and eighty year[s].
11 έτι και την σήμερον είμαι δυνατός, καθώς την ημέραν ότε με απέστειλεν ο Μωϋσής· ως ήτο τότε η δύναμίς μου διά πόλεμον και διά να εξέρχωμαι και διά να εισέρχωμαι·
Still I this day [am] strong just as on [the] day sent me Moses as strength my then and as strength my now for the battle and to go out and to come.
12 τώρα λοιπόν δος μοι το όρος τούτο, περί του οποίου ελάλησεν ο Κύριος την ημέραν εκείνην· διότι συ ήκουσας την ημέραν εκείνην, ότι είναι εκεί Ανακείμ και πόλεις μεγάλαι ωχυρωμέναι· εάν ο Κύριος ήναι μετ' εμού, εγώ θέλω δυνηθή να εκδιώξω αυτούς, καθώς είπεν ο Κύριος.
And therefore give! to me the hill country this which he spoke Yahweh on the day that for you you heard on the day that that Anakites [were] there and cities large fortified perhaps Yahweh with me and I will dispossess them just as he spoke Yahweh.
13 Και ευλόγησεν αυτόν ο Ιησούς και έδωκεν εις τον Χάλεβ τον υιόν του Ιεφοννή την Χεβρών εις κληρονομίαν.
And he blessed him Joshua and he gave Hebron to Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh to an inheritance.
14 Διά τούτο η Χεβρών αποκατέστη κληρονομία του Χάλεβ υιού του Ιεφοννή του Κενεζαίου έως της σήμερον, διότι εντελώς ηκολούθησε Κύριον τον Θεόν του Ισραήλ.
There-fore it became Hebron of Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite an inheritance until the day this because that he filled after Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
15 το δε όνομα της Χεβρών πρότερον ήτο Κιριάθ-αρβά· ήτο δε ο Αρβά άνθρωπος μέγας μεταξύ των Ανακείμ. Και η γη ησύχασεν από του πολέμου.
And [the] name of Hebron before [was] Kiriath Arba [who was] the man great among the Anakites he and the land it was at peace from war.
