Ἰώβ 42
1 Τότε απεκρίθη ο Ιώβ προς τον Κύριον και είπεν·
And he answered Job Yahweh and he said.
2 Εξεύρω ότι δύνασαι τα πάντα, και ουδείς στοχασμός σου δύναται να εμποδισθή.
(I know *Q(K)*) that everything you are able and not it is withheld from you a purpose.
3 Τις ούτος ο κρύπτων την βουλήν ασυνέτως; Εγώ λοιπόν προέφερα εκείνο, το οποίον δεν ενόουν. Πράγματα υπερθαύμαστα δι' εμέ, τα οποία δεν εγνώριζον.
Who? this - [is] concealing counsel not knowledge therefore I have told and not I understood [things too] wonderful for me and not I knew.
4 Άκουσον, δέομαι· και εγώ θέλω λαλήσει· θέλω σε ερωτήσει, και συ δίδαξόν με.
Listen please and I I will speak I will ask you and make known to me.
5 Ήκουον περί σου με την ακοήν του ωτίου, αλλά τώρα ο οφθαλμός μου σε βλέπει·
To [the] hearing of [the] ear I had heard of you and now eye my it has seen you.
6 διά τούτο βδελύττομαι εμαυτόν, και μετανοώ εν χώματι και σποδώ.
There-fore I reject and I repent on dust and ash[es].
7 Αφού δε ο Κύριος ελάλησε τους λόγους τούτους προς τον Ιώβ, είπεν ο Κύριος προς Ελιφάς τον Θαιμανίτην, Ο θυμός μου εξήφθη κατά σου και κατά των δύο φίλων σου· διότι δεν ελαλήσατε περί εμού το ορθόν ως ο δούλός μου Ιώβ·
And it was after he had spoken Yahweh the words these to Job and he said Yahweh to Eliphaz the Temanite it has burned anger my on you and on [the] two friends your for not you have spoken concerning me a reliable [thing] like servant my Job.
8 διά τούτο λάβετε τώρα εις εαυτούς επτά μόσχους και επτά κριούς και υπάγετε προς τον δούλον μου Ιώβ, και προσφέρετε ολοκαύτωμα υπέρ εαυτών· ο δε Ιώβ ο δούλός μου θέλει ικετεύσει υπέρ υμών· διότι θέλω δεχθή το πρόσωπον αυτού· διά να μη πράξω με σας κατά την αφροσύνην σας· διότι δεν ελαλήσατε περί εμού το ορθόν ως ο δούλός μου Ιώβ.
And therefore take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams and go - to servant my Job and you will offer up a burnt offering for yourselves and Job servant my he will pray on you that except face his I will lift up to not to do with you punishment for folly for not you have spoken concerning me a reliable [thing] like servant my Job.
9 Και υπήγον Ελιφάς ο Θαιμανίτης και Βιλδάδ ο Σαυχίτης και Σωφάρ ο Νααμαθίτης, και έκαμον ως προσέταξεν εις αυτούς ο Κύριος· ο δε Κύριος εδέχθη το πρόσωπον του Ιώβ.
And they went Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite Zophar the Naamathite and they did just as he had spoken to them Yahweh and he lifted up Yahweh [the] face of Job.
10 Και έστρεψεν ο Κύριος την αιχμαλωσίαν του Ιώβ, αφού προσηυχήθη υπέρ των φίλων αυτού· και έδωκεν ο Κύριος εις τον Ιώβ διπλάσια πάντων των όσα είχε πρότερον.
And Yahweh he turned back ([the] captivity of *Q(k)*) Job when prayed he for friends his and he increased Yahweh all that [belonged] to Job to double.
11 Τότε ήλθον προς αυτόν πάντες οι αδελφοί αυτού και πάσαι αι αδελφαί αυτού και πάντες οι γνωρίζοντες αυτόν πρότερον, και έφαγον άρτον μετ' αυτού εν τω οίκω αυτού· και συνέκλαυσαν με αυτόν και παρηγόρησαν αυτόν περί παντός του κακού, το οποίον ο Κύριος επέφερεν επ' αυτόν· και έδωκαν έκαστος εις αυτόν εν αργύριον και έκαστος εν χρυσούν ενώτιον.
And they came to him all brothers his and all (sisters his *Q(k)*) and all [those who] knew him before and they ate with him bread in house his and they showed sympathy to him and they comforted him on all the trouble which he had brought Yahweh on him and they gave to him each one a piece of money one and each one a ring of gold one.
12 Και ευλόγησεν ο Κύριος τα έσχατα του Ιώβ μάλλον παρά τα πρώτα· ώστε απέκτησε δεκατέσσαρας χιλιάδας προβάτων και εξακισχιλίας καμήλους και χίλια ζεύγη βοών και χιλίας όνους.
And Yahweh he blessed [the] latter part of Job more than beginning his and it belonged to him four-teen thousand sheep and six thousand camels and one thousand pair[s] of ox[en] and a thousand female donkeys.
13 Εγεννήθησαν έτι εις αυτόν επτά υιοί και τρεις θυγατέρες·
And it belonged to him seven sons and three daughters.
14 και εκάλεσε το όνομα της πρώτης Ιεμιμά· και το όνομα της δευτέρας Κεσιά· και το όνομα της τρίτης Κερέν-αππούχ·
And he called [the] name of the one Jemimah and [the] name of the second Keziah and [the] name of the third Keren-Happuch.
15 και δεν ευρίσκοντο εφ' όλης της γης γυναίκες ώραίαι ως αι θυγατέρες του Ιώβ· και ο πατήρ αυτών έδωκεν εις αυτάς κληρονομίαν μεταξύ των αδελφών αυτών.
And not it was found women beautiful like [the] daughters of Job in all the land and he gave to them father their an inheritance in among brothers their.
16 Μετά ταύτα έζησεν ο Ιώβ εκατόν τεσσαράκοντα έτη, και είδε τους υιούς αυτού και τους υιούς των υιών αυτού, τετάρτην γενεάν.
And he lived Job after this one hundred and forty year[s] (and he saw *Q(k)*) children his and [the] children of children his four generations.
17 και ετελεύτησεν ο Ιώβ, γέρων και πλήρης ημερών.
And he died Job old and satisfied of days.
