Ἱερεμίας 9
1 Είθε να ήτο η κεφαλή μου ύδατα και οι οφθαλμοί μου πηγή δακρύων, διά να κλαίω ημέραν και νύκτα τους πεφονευμένους της θυγατρός του λαού μου.
Who? will he give head my [was] water and eye my [was] a fountain of tear[s] so I may bewail by day and night [those] slain of [the] daughter of people my.
2 Είθε να είχον εν τη ερήμω κατάλυμα οδοιπόρων, διά να εγκαταλείψω τον λαόν μου και να απέλθω απ' αυτών· διότι πάντες είναι μοιχοί, άθροισμα απίστων.
Who? will he give me in the wilderness a lodging place of travelers and I will leave people my and I will go from with them for all of them [are] adulterers an assembly of treacherous [people].
3 Ενέτειναν και την γλώσσαν αυτών ως τόξον ψεύδους· και ίσχυσαν επί της γης, ουχί υπέρ της αληθείας· διότι προχωρούσιν από κακίας εις κακίαν και εμέ δεν γνωρίζουσι, λέγει Κύριος.
And they have bent tongue their bow of their falsehood and not to faithfulness they are strong in the land for from evil to evil - they have gone out and me not they know [the] utterance of Yahweh.
4 Φυλάττεσθε έκαστος από του πλησίον αυτού και επ' ουδένα αδελφόν μη πεποίθατε· διότι πας αδελφός θέλει πάντοτε υποσκελίζει και πας πλησίον θέλει περιπατεί εν δολιότητι.
Each from neighbor his take heed and on any brother may not you rely for every brother certainly he cheats and every neighbor a slanderer he goes about.
5 Και θέλουσιν απατά έκαστος τον πλησίον αυτού και δεν θέλουσι λαλεί την αλήθειαν· εδίδαξαν την γλώσσαν αυτών να λαλή ψεύδη, αποκάμνουσι πράττοντες ανομίαν.
And each neighbor his they deceive and truth not they speak they have taught tongue their to speak falsehood to iniquire they are weary.
6 Η κατοικία σου είναι εν μέσω δολιότητος· εν τη δολιότητι αρνούνται να με γνωρίσωσι, λέγει Κύριος.
Dwelling you in among deceit on deceit they have refused to know me [the] utterance of Yahweh.
7 Διά τούτο ούτω λέγει ο Κύριος των δυνάμεων· Ιδού, θέλω βάλει αυτούς εν χωνευτηρίω και θέλω δοκιμάσει αυτούς· διότι πως θέλω κάμει ένεκεν της θυγατρός του λαού μου;
Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts here I [am] about to refine them and I will test them for how? will I act because of [the] daughter of people my.
8 Η γλώσσα αυτών είναι βέλος εξακοντιζόμενον· λαλεί δόλια· έκαστος λαλεί ειρηνικά διά του στόματος αυτού προς τον πλησίον αυτού, πλην εν τη καρδία αυτού στήνει ενέδραν κατ' αυτού.
[is] an arrow (Beaten *Q(K)*) tongue their deceit it speaks with mouth his peace with neighbor his someone speaks and in inner being his he sets ambush his.
9 Δεν θέλω επισκεφθή αυτούς διά ταύτα; λέγει Κύριος· η ψυχή μου δεν θέλει εκδικηθή εναντίον έθνους, τοιούτου;
¿ On these [things] not will I visit them [the] utterance of Yahweh or? on a nation which [is] like this [one] not will it avenge itself self my.
10 Διά τα όρη θέλω αναλάβει κλαυθμόν και θρήνον και διά τας βοσκάς της ερήμου οδυρμόν, διότι ηφανίσθησαν, ώστε δεν υπάρχει άνθρωπος διαβαίνων, ουδέ ακούεται φωνή ποιμνίου· από του πτηνού του ουρανού έως του κτήνους, έφυγον, απήλθον.
On the mountains I will take up weeping and wailing and on [the] pastures of [the] wilderness lamentation for they are left desolate because not anyone [who] passes through and not people hear [the] sound of livestock from [the] bird[s] of the heavens and unto animal[s] they have fled they have gone.
11 Και θέλω καταστήσει την Ιερουσαλήμ εις σωρούς, κατοικίαν θώων· και τας πόλεις του Ιούδα θέλω κάμει ερήμωσιν, ώστε να μη υπάρχη ο κατοικών.
And I will make Jerusalem into heaps of stones a habitation of jackals and [the] cities of Judah I will make a waste because not inhabitant.
12 Τις είναι ο άνθρωπος ο σοφός, όστις δύναται να εννοήση τούτο; και προς τον οποίον ελάλησε το στόμα του Κυρίου, διά να αναγγείλη αυτό, διά τι η γη εχάθη, ηφανίσθη ως έρημος, ώστε να μη υπάρχη ο διαβαίνων;
Who? [is] the person wise and he may understand this and whom it has spoken [the] mouth of Yahweh to him so he may declare it concerning what? has it been destroyed the land has it become desolate? like wilderness because not [one who] passes by.
13 Και είπε Κύριος, διότι εγκατέλιπον τον νόμον μου, τον οποίον έθεσα έμπροσθεν αυτών και δεν υπήκουσαν εις την φωνήν μου και δεν περιεπάτησαν εν αυτώ·
And he said Yahweh because have forsaken they law my which I set before them and not they have listened to voice my and not they have walked in it.
14 αλλά περιεπάτησαν οπίσω της ορέξεως της καρδίας αυτών και οπίσω των Βααλείμ, τα οποία οι πατέρες αυτών εδίδαξαν αυτούς·
And they have walked after [the] stubbornness of own heart their and after the Baals which they taught them ancestors their.
15 διά τούτο, ούτω λέγει ο Κύριος των δυνάμεων, ο Θεός του Ισραήλ· Ιδού, εγώ θέλω θρέψει αυτούς, τον λαόν τούτον· με αψίνθιον και ύδωρ χολής θέλω ποτίσει αυτούς·
Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to feed them the people this wormwood and I will give to drink them water of poison.
16 και θέλω διασκορπίσει αυτούς εν τοις έθνεσι, τα οποία αυτοί και οι πατέρες αυτών δεν εγνώρισαν· και θέλω αποστείλει την μάχαιραν οπίσω αυτών, εωσού αναλώσω αυτούς.
And I will scatter them among the nations which not they knew they and ancestors their and I will send forth after them the sword until have made an end of I them.
17 Ούτω λέγει ο Κύριος των δυνάμεων. Συλλογίσθητε και καλέσατε τας θρηνούσας να έλθωσι· και αποστείλατε διά τας σοφάς να έλθωσι·
Thus he says Yahweh of hosts consider and summon the wailing [women] and they may come and to the skillful [women] send so they may come.
18 και ας σπεύσωσι και ας αναλάβωσιν οδυρμόν περί ημών και ας καταβιβάσωσιν οι οφθαλμοί ημών δάκρυα και τα βλέφαρα ημών ας ρεύσωσιν ύδατα.
And they may hasten and they may take up on us wailing so they may run down eyes our tear[s] and eyelids our they may flow water.
19 Διότι φωνή θρήνου ηκούσθη από Σιών, Πως απωλέσθημεν· κατησχύνθημεν σφόδρα, διότι εγκατελίπομεν την γην, διότι αι κατοικίαι ημών εξέρριψαν ημάς.
For a sound of wailing it has been heard from Zion how! we have been devastated we have been put to shame exceedingly for we have left [the] land for people have cast down dwellings our.
20 Ακούσατε λοιπόν, γυναίκες, τον λόγον του Κυρίου, και ας δεχθή το ωτίον σας τον λόγον του στόματος αυτού, και διδάξατε τας θυγατέρας σας οδυρμόν και εκάστη την πλησίον αυτής θρήνον.
For hear O women [the] word of Yahweh so it may receive ear your [the] word of mouth his and teach daughters your a mourning song and every woman neighbor her a lamentation.
21 Διότι θάνατος ανέβη διά των θυρίδων ημών, εισήλθεν εις τα παλάτια ημών, διά να εκκόψη τα νήπια από των οδών τους νέους από των πλατειών.
For it has come up death in windows our it has come in fortresses our to cut off child[ren] from [the] street young men from [the] open places.
22 Ειπέ, Ούτω λέγει Κύριος· Και τα πτώματα των ανθρώπων θέλουσι ριφθή ως κοπρία επί πρόσωπον αγρού και ως δράγμα οπίσω θεριστού, και δεν θέλει υπάρχει ο συνάγων.
Speak thus [the] utterance of Yahweh and it will fall [the] corpse[s] of people like dung on [the] surface of the field[s] and like cut grain from behind the reaper and there not [will be one who] gathers.
23 Ούτω λέγει Κύριος· Ας μη καυχάται ο σοφός εις την σοφίαν αυτού, και ας μη καυχάται ο δυνατός εις την δύναμιν αυτού, ας μη καυχάται ο πλούσιος εις τον πλούτον αυτού·
Thus - he says Yahweh may not he boast a wise [person] in wisdom his and may not he boast the mighty [person] in might his may not he boast a rich [person] in rich[es] his.
24 αλλ' ο καυχώμενος ας καυχάται εις τούτο, ότι εννοεί και γνωρίζει εμέ, ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος, ο ποιών έλεος, κρίσιν και δικαιοσύνην επί της γής· επειδή εις ταύτα ευαρεστούμαι, λέγει Κύριος.
That except in this let him boast who [-ever] boasts he has insight and he knows me that I [am] Yahweh [who] does covenant loyalty justice and righteousness on the earth for in these things I delight [the] utterance of Yahweh.
25 Ιδού, έρχονται ημέραι, λέγει Κύριος, και θέλω κάμει επίσκεψιν επί πάντας τους περιτετμημένους μετά των απεριτμήτων·
Here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will visit [judgment] on every [man] circumcised in a foreskin.
26 επί την Αίγυπτον και επί τον Ιούδαν και επί τον Εδώμ και επί τους υιούς Αμμών και επί τον Μωάβ και επί πάντας τους περικείροντας την κόμην, τους κατοικούντας εν τη ερήμω· διότι πάντα τα έθνη είναι απερίτμητα και πας ο οίκος Ισραήλ απερίτμητος την καρδίαν.
On Egypt and on Judah and on Edom and on [the] people of Ammon and on Moab and on all [those who] are cut off of [the] corner who dwell in the wilderness for all the nations [are] uncircumcised and all [the] house of Israel [are] uncircumcised of heart.
