Ἠσαΐας 4
1 Και εν εκείνη τη ημέρα επτά γυναίκες θέλουσι πιάσει ένα άνδρα λέγουσαι, θέλομεν τρώγει τον άρτον ημών και θέλομεν ενδύεσθαι τα ιμάτια ημών μόνον ας κράζεται το όνομά σου εφ ημάς, διά να αφαιρέσης το όνειδος ημών.
Seven women shall take hold of one man in that day, saying, “We will eat our own bread, and wear our own clothing: only let us be called by your name. Take away our reproach.”
2 Εν εκείνη τη ημέρα ο κλάδος του Κυρίου θέλει είσθαι ώραίος και ένδοξος και ο καρπός της γης εξαίρετος και ευφρόσυνος εις τους διασωθέντας εκ του Ισραήλ
In that day, Adonai’s branch will be beautiful and kavod ·weighty glorious·, and the fruit of the land will be the beauty and excellent for the survivors of Israel [God prevails].
3 και ο υπόλοιπος εν Σιών και ο εναπολειφθείς εν Ιερουσαλήμ θέλει ονομασθή άγιος, πάντες οι γεγραμμένοι μεταξύ των ζώντων εν Ιερουσαλήμ,
It will happen, that he who is left in Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], and he who remains in Jerusalem [City of peace], shall be called holy, even everyone who is written among the living in Jerusalem [City of peace];
4 όταν εκπλύνη ο Κύριος την ακαθαρσίαν των θυγατέρων της Σιών και καθαρίση το αίμα της Ιερουσαλήμ εκ μέσου αυτής διά πνεύματος κρίσεως και διά πνεύματος καύσεως.
when 'Adonay [Lord] shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem [City of peace] from within it, by the spirit of mishpat ·justice·, and by the spirit of burning.
5 Και ο Κύριος θέλει δημιουργήσει επί πάντα τόπον του όρους Σιών και επί τας συναθροίσεις αυτής νεφέλην και καπνόν την ημέραν, εν δε τη νυκτί λαμπρότητα φλογερού πυρός· διότι επί πάσαν την δόξαν θέλει είσθαι υπεράσπισις,
Adonai will create over the whole habitation of Mount Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the kavod ·weighty glory· will be a canopy.
6 και θέλει είσθαι σκηνή, διά να επισκιάζη από της καύσεως εν ημέρα, και διά να ήναι καταφύγιον και σκέπη από ανεμοζάλης και από βροχής.
There will be a sukkah ·temporary tent· for a shade in the daytime from the heat, and for a refuge and for a shelter from storm and from rain.
