Ἠσαΐας 15
1 Η κατά Μωάβ όρασις. Επειδή η Αρ Μωάβ επορθήθη την νύκτα και ηφανίσθη· επειδή η Κιρ Μωάβ επορθήθη την νύχτα και ηφανίσθη·
The burden of Moab. For in the night that Ar of Moab is laid waste, he is brought to ruin; for in the night that Kir of Moab is laid waste, he is brought to ruin.
2 ανέβη εις τον οίκον και εις Δαιβών, τους υψηλούς τόπους, διά να κλαύση· ο Μωάβ θέλει ολολύξει διά την Νεβώ, και διά την Μεδεβά· πάσαι αι κεφαλαί θέλουσι φαλακρωθή, παν γένειον θέλει ξυρισθή.
He is gone up to Baith, and to Dibon, to the high places, to weep; upon Nebo, and upon Medeba, Moab howleth; on all their heads is baldness, every beard is shaven.
3 Εν ταις οδοίς αυτών θέλουσιν είσθαι περιεζωσμένοι σάκκους· επί των δωμάτων αυτών και εν ταις πλατείαις αυτών πάντες θέλουσιν ολολύξει μετά κλαυθμού μεγάλου.
In their streets they gird themselves with sackcloth; on their housetops, and in their broad places, every one howleth, weeping profusely.
4 Και η Εσεβών θέλει βοά, και η Ελεαλή· η βοή αυτών θέλει ακουσθή έως Ιασσά· διά τούτο οι οπλοφόροι άνδρες του Μωάβ θέλουσιν ολολύξει· η ψυχή αυτών θέλει ολολύξει δι' αυτούς.
And Heshbon crieth out, and Elealeh; their voice is heard even unto Jahaz; therefore the armed men of Moab cry aloud; his soul is faint within him.
5 Η καρδία μου θέλει αναβοήσει διά τον Μωάβ· οι φυγάδες αυτού θέλουσι τρέξει έως Σηγώρ ως τριετής δάμαλις· διότι κλαίοντες θέλουσιν αναβή διά της αναβάσεως της Λουείθ· διότι εν τη οδώ της Οροναΐμ θέλουσιν υψώσει φωνήν εξολοθρευμού·
My heart crieth out for Moab; her fugitives reach unto Zoar, a heifer of three years old; for by the ascent of Luhith with weeping they go up; for in the way of Horonaim they raise up a cry of destruction.
6 διότι τα ύδατα της Νιμρείμ θέλουσιν εκλείψει· διότι ο χόρτος εξηράνθη, η χλόη εξέλιπε, δεν υπάρχει ουδέν χλωρόν·
For the Waters of Nimrim shall be desolate; for the grass is withered away, the herbage faileth, there is no green thing.
7 διά τούτο η αφθονία, την οποίαν συνήξαν, και εκείνο το οποίον απεταμίευσαν, θέλει φερθή εις την κοιλάδα των ιτεών.
Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have laid up, shall they carry away to the brook of the willows.
8 Διότι η φωνή έφθασε κύκλω εις τα όρια του Μωάβ· ο ολολυγμός αυτής έως Εγλαΐμ, και ο ολολυγμός αυτής εις Βηρ-αιλείμ.
For the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab; the howling thereof unto Eglaim, and the howling thereof unto Beer-elim.
9 Διότι τα ύδατα της Δειμών θέλουσι γεμισθή αίματος· διότι θέλω επιφέρει έτι δεινά επί Δειμών, λέοντας επί τον διασωθέντα εκ του Μωάβ και επί τα υπόλοιπα του τόπου.
For the waters of Dimon are full of blood; for I will bring yet more upon Dimon, a lion upon him that escapeth of Moab, and upon the remnant of the land.
