Ὡσηέʹ 3

1 Και είπε Κύριος προς εμέ, Ύπαγε έτι, αγάπησον γυναίκα, ήτις καίτοι αγαπωμένη υπό του φίλου αυτής είναι μοιχαλίς, κατά την αγάπην του Κυρίου προς τους υιούς Ισραήλ, οίτινες όμως επιβλέπουσιν εις θεούς αλλοτρίους και αγαπώσι φιάλας οίνου.

Then said the Lord to me, Goe yet, and loue a woman (beloued of her husband, and was an harlot) according to the loue of the Lord toward the children of Israel: yet they looked to other gods, and loued the wine bottels.

2 Και εμίσθωσα αυτήν εις εμαυτόν διά δεκαπέντε αργύρια και εν χομόρ κριθής και ήμισυ χομόρ κριθής.

So I bought her to me for fifteene pieces of siluer, and for an homer of barlie and an halfe homer of barlie.

3 Και είπα προς αυτήν, Θέλεις καθήσει δι' εμέ πολλάς ημέρας· δεν θέλεις πορνεύσει και δεν θέλεις είσθαι δι' άλλον· και εγώ ομοίως θέλω είσθαι διά σε.

And I said vnto her, Thou shalt abide with me many dayes: thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt be to none other man, and I will be so vnto thee.

4 Διότι οι υιοί Ισραήλ θέλουσι καθήσει πολλάς ημέρας χωρίς βασιλέως και χωρίς άρχοντος και χωρίς θυσίας και χωρίς αγάλματος και χωρίς εφόδ και θεραφείμ.

For the children of Israel shall remaine many dayes without a King and without a prince, and without an offering, and without an image, and without an Ephod and without Teraphim.

5 Μετά ταύτα θέλουσιν επιστρέψει οι υιοί Ισραήλ και θέλουσι ζητήσει Κύριον τον Θεόν αυτών και Δαβίδ τον βασιλέα αυτών· και θέλουσι φοβείσθαι τον Κύριον και την αγαθότητα αυτού εν ταις εσχάταις ημέραις.

Afterward shall the children of Israel conuert, and seeke the Lord their God, and Dauid their King, and shall feare the Lord, and his goodnes in the latter dayes.
