Ἔσδρας Αʹ 6
1 Τότε Δαρείος ο βασιλεύς εξέδωκε διαταγήν, και ηρεύνησαν εν τοις αρχείοις, όπου κείνται οι θησαυροί εν Βαβυλώνι.
Then Darius king the he made a decree and they searched - in [the] house books the where treasures the [were] deposited there in Babylon.
2 Και ευρέθη εν Αχμεθά, εν τω παλατίω τω εν τη επαρχία των Μήδων, εις τόμος, και ήτο εν αυτώ υπόμνημα γεγραμμένον ούτως·
And it was found in Ecbatana in citadel the which [is] in Media province the a scroll one and as follows it was written in midst its memorandum.
3 Εν τω πρώτω έτει Κύρου του βασιλέως, Κύρος ο βασιλεύς εξέδωκε διαταγήν περί του οίκου του Θεού του εν Ιερουσαλήμ, Ας οικοδομηθή ο οίκος, ο τόπος εις τον οποίον προσφέρονται αι θυσίαι, και ας τεθώσι τα θεμέλια αυτού δυνατά· το ύψος αυτού εξήκοντα πήχαι, το πλάτος αυτού εξήκοντα πήχαι·
In year one of Cyrus king the Cyrus king the he made a decree [the] house of God in Jerusalem house the let it be built a place which [they were] sacrificing sacrifices and foundations its [be] retained height its cubits sixty width its cubits sixty.
4 τρεις σειραί μεγάλων λίθων, και μία σειρά ξύλων νέων· και τα αναλώματα ας δοθώσιν εκ του οίκου του βασιλέως·
Rows of stone of rolling three and a row of timber new and expense the from [the] house of king the let it be given.
5 τα χρυσά έτι και τα αργυρά σκεύη του οίκου του Θεού, τα οποία ο Ναβουχοδονόσορ έλαβεν εκ του ναού του εν Ιερουσαλήμ και έφερεν εις Βαβυλώνα, ας αποδοθώσι και ας επανέλθωσιν εις τον ναόν τον εν Ιερουσαλήμ, έκαστον εις τον τόπον αυτού, και ας τεθώσιν εις τον οίκον του Θεού.
And also [the] vessels of [the] house of God of gold and silver which Nebuchadnezzar he brought out from temple the which [was] in Jerusalem and he carried to Babylon let them send back and let it go to temple the which [is] in Jerusalem to place its so you may deposit [them] in [the] house of God.
6 Τώρα λοιπόν, Ταθναΐ, έπαρχε των πέραν του ποταμού, Σεθάρ-βοσναΐ, και οι συνέταιροί σας οι Αφαρσαχαίοι, οι πέραν του ποταμού, απομακρύνθητε εκείθεν·
Now O Tattenai [the] governor of [the] region beyond river the Shethar-Bozenai and associates their officials the who [are] in [the] region beyond river the far be! from there.
7 αφήσατε το έργον τούτου του οίκου του Θεού· ο έπαρχος των Ιουδαίων και οι πρεσβύτεροι των Ιουδαίων ας οικοδομήσωσι τον οίκον τούτον του Θεού εν τω τόπω αυτού.
Leave! [the] work of [the] house of God this [the] governor of Jews the and [the] elders of Jews the [the] house of God this let them build on place its.
8 Εξεδόθη έτι απ' εμού διαταγή, τι θέλετε κάμει εις τους πρεσβυτέρους των Ιουδαίων τούτων, διά την οικοδομήν τούτου του οίκου του Θεού· εκ των υπαρχόντων του βασιλέως, εκ του φόρου των πέραν του ποταμού, θέλουσι δοθή αμέσως αναλώματα εις τους ανθρώπους τούτους, διά να μη εμποδισθώσι.
And from me it is made a decree to whatever that you will do with [the] elders of Jews the these to build [the] house of God this and from [the] properti of king the which [is] [the] tribute of [the] region beyond river the diligently expense the let it be given to men the these that not to make to cease.
9 Και ούτινος πράγματος έχουσι χρείαν, και μόσχοι και κριοί και πρόβατα, διά τας ολοκαυτώσεις του Θεού του ουρανού, σίτος, άλας, οίνος και έλαιον, κατά την αίτησιν των ιερέων των εν Ιερουσαλήμ, ας δίδωνται εις αυτούς καθ' ημέραν άνευ ελλείψεως,
And whatever things needed and young of bulls and rams and lambs - for burnt offerings - to [the] God of heavens the wheat salt - wine and oil according to [the] word of priests the who [are] in Jerusalem it will be given to them day - by day that not negligence.
10 διά να προσφέρωσι θυσίας εις οσμήν ευωδίας προς τον Θεόν του ουρανού, και να προσεύχωνται υπέρ της ζωής του βασιλέως και των υιών αυτού.
That they will be offering soothing offerings to [the] God of heavens the and praying for [the] life of king the and sons his.
11 Εξεδόθη έτι παρ' εμού διαταγή περί παντός ανθρώπου, όστις παραλλάξη τον λόγον τούτον, να αποσπασθή ξύλον εκ της οικίας αυτού και να στηθή και να κρεμασθή επ' αυτό· η δε οικία αυτού ας γείνη διά τούτο κοπρών.
And from me it is made a decree that every person who he will violate command the this let it be pulled away a beam from house his and [he will] be lifted up let him be impaled on it and house his a refuse-heap let it be made on this.
12 Και ο Θεός, όστις κατώκισε το όνομα αυτού εκεί, ας εξολοθρεύση πάντα βασιλέα και λαόν, όστις εκτείνη την χείρα αυτού διά να παραλλάξη τι, ώστε να καταστρέψη τούτον τον οίκον του Θεού τον εν Ιερουσαλήμ. Εγώ ο Δαρείος εξέδωκα την διαταγήν· ας εκτελεσθή ταχέως.
And God who he has caused to dwell name his there may he overthrow every king and people who - he will stretch out hand his to violate to destroy [the] house of God this which [is] in Jerusalem I Darius I make a decree diligently let it be done.
13 Τότε ο Ταθναΐ, ο έπαρχος των εντεύθεν του ποταμού, ο Σεθάρ-βοσναΐ, και οι συνέταιροι αυτών, κατά τα προσταχθέντα υπό του Δαρείου του βασιλέως, ούτως έκαμον ταχέως.
Then Tattenai [the] governor of [the] region beyond river the Shethar-Bozenai and associates their before that he had sent Darius king the accordingly diligently they did.
14 Και οι πρεσβύτεροι των Ιουδαίων ωκοδόμουν και ευωδούντο, κατά την προφητείαν Αγγαίου του προφήτου και Ζαχαρίου υιού του Ιδδώ. Και ωκοδόμησαν και ετελείωσαν, κατά την προσταγήν του Θεού του Ισραήλ, και κατά την προσταγήν του Κύρου και Δαρείου και Αρταξέρξου βασιλέως της Περσίας.
And [the] elders of Jews the [were] building and prospering by [the] prophesying of Haggai (prophet the *Q(K)*) and Zechariah [the] son of Iddo and they built and they finished according to [the] decree of [the] God of Israel and according to [the] decree of Cyrus and Darius and Artaxerxes [the] king of Persia.
15 Και συνετελέσθη ο οίκος ούτος την τρίτην ημέραν του μηνός Αδάρ, εν τω έκτω έτει της βασιλείας Δαρείου του βασιλέως.
And it was brought forth house the this until day three of [the] month of Adar which it [was] year six of [the] reign of Darius king the.
16 Και εγκαινίασαν εν ευφροσύνη οι υιοί του Ισραήλ, οι ιερείς και οι Λευΐται, και οι λοιποί εκ των υιών της αιχμαλωσίας, τον οίκον τούτον του Θεού·
And they made [the] people of Israel priests the and Levites the and [the] rest of [the] people of exile the [the] dedication of [the] house of God this with joy.
17 και προσέφεραν εις τον εγκαινιασμόν του οίκου τούτου του Θεού εκατόν μόσχους, διακοσίους κριούς, τετρακόσια αρνία· και διά προσφοράν περί αμαρτίας υπέρ παντός του Ισραήλ δώδεκα τράγους, κατά τον αριθμόν των φυλών του Ισραήλ.
And they offered for [the] dedication of [the] house of God this bulls one hundred rams two hundred lambs four hundred and he-goats of goats (for a sin offering *Q(K)*) on all Israel two [plus] ten to [the] number of [the] tribes of Israel.
18 Και έστησαν τους ιερείς εις τας διαιρέσεις αυτών, και τους Λευΐτας εις τα υπουργήματα αυτών, διά την υπηρεσίαν του Θεού την εν Ιερουσαλήμ, κατά το γεγραμμένον εν τω βιβλίω του Μωϋσέως.
And they appointed priests the in divisions their and Levites the in classes their over [the] service of God which [is] in Jerusalem according to [the] writing of [the] book of Moses.
19 Και έκαμον το πάσχα οι υιοί της αιχμαλωσίας τη δεκάτη τετάρτη του πρώτου μηνός·
And they celebrated [the] children of the exile the passover on [day] four-teen of the month the first.
20 διότι οι ιερείς και οι Λευΐται εκαθαρίσθησαν ομού· πάντες ήσαν κεκαθαρισμένοι, και έσφαξαν το πάσχα εις πάντας τους υιούς της αιχμαλωσίας, και εις τους αδελφούς αυτών τους ιερείς, και εις εαυτούς.
For they had purified themselves the priests and the Levites as one all of them [were] pure and they slaughtered the passover for all [the] children of the exile and for brothers their the priests and for themselves.
21 Και έφαγον οι υιοί Ισραήλ, οι επιστρέψαντες από της αιχμαλωσίας, και πάντες οι χωρισθέντες προς αυτούς από της ακαθαρσίας των εθνών της γης, διά να εκζητήσωσι Κύριον τον Θεόν του Ισραήλ.
And they ate [the] people of Israel who had returned from the exile and every [one who] had separated himself from [the] uncleanness of [the] nations of the land to them to seek Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
22 Και έκαμον την εορτήν των αζύμων επτά ημέρας μετ' ευφροσύνης· διότι εύφρανεν αυτούς ο Κύριος, και έστρεψε προς αυτούς την καρδίαν του βασιλέως της Ασσυρίας, διά να ενισχύση τας χείρας αυτών εις το έργον του οίκου του Θεού, του Θεού του Ισραήλ.
And they celebrated [the] feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy for - he had made rejoice them Yahweh and he had turned [the] heart of [the] king of Assyria towards them to make strong hands their in [the] work of [the] house of God [the] God of Israel.
