Ἰεζεκιήλ 8

1 Και εν τω έκτω έτει, τω έκτω μηνί, τη πέμπτη του μηνός, ενώ εγώ εκαθήμην εν τω οίκω μου και οι πρεσβύτεροι του Ιούδα εκάθηντο έμπροσθέν μου, χειρ Κυρίου του Θεού έπεσεν εκεί επ' εμέ.

And it was doon in the sixte yeer, in the sixte monethe, in the fyuethe dai of the monethe, Y sat in myn hous, and the elde men of Juda saten bifore me; and the hond of the Lord God felle there on me.

2 Και είδον και ιδού, ομοίωμα ως θέα πυρός· από της θέας της οσφύος αυτού και κάτω πυρ, και από της οσφύος αυτού και επάνω ως θέα λάμψεως, ως όψις ηλέκτρου.

And Y siy, and lo! a licnesse as the biholdyng of fier; fro the biholding of hise leendis and bynethe was fier, and fro hise leendis and aboue was as the biholdyng of schynyng, as the siyt of electre.

3 Και εξήπλωσεν ομοίωμα χειρός, και με επίασεν από της κόμης της κεφαλής μου και με ύψωσε το πνεύμα μεταξύ της γης και του ουρανού και με έφερε δι' οραμάτων Θεού εις Ιερουσαλήμ, εις την θύραν της εσωτέρας πύλης της βλεπούσης προς βορράν, όπου ίστατο το είδωλον της ζηλοτυπίας, το παροξύνον εις ζηλοτυπίαν.

And the licnesse of an hond was sent out, and took me bi the heer of myn heed; and the spirit reiside me bitwixe heuene and erthe, and brouyte me in to Jerusalem, in the siyt of God, bisidis the ynnere dore that bihelde to the north, where the idol of enuye was set, to stire indignacioun.

4 Και ιδού, η δόξα του Θεού του Ισραήλ ήτο εκεί, κατά το όραμα το οποίον είδον εν τη πεδιάδι.

And lo! the glorie of God of Israel was there, bi siyt which Y siy in the feeld.

5 Και είπε προς εμέ, Υιέ ανθρώπου, ύψωσον τώρα τους οφθαλμούς σου προς την οδόν την προς βορράν. Και ύψωσα τους οφθαλμούς μου προς την οδόν την προς βορράν και ιδού, κατά το βόρειον μέρος εν τη πύλη του θυσιαστηρίου το είδωλον τούτο της ζηλοτυπίας κατά την είσοδον.

And he seide to me, Thou, sone of man, reise thin iyen to the weie of the north; and Y reiside myn iyen to the weie of the north, and lo! fro the north of the yate of the auter the idol of enuye was in that entryng.

6 Τότε είπε προς εμέ, Υιέ ανθρώπου, βλέπεις συ τι κάμνουσιν ούτοι; τα μεγάλα βδελύγματα, τα οποία ο οίκος Ισραήλ κάμνει εδώ, διά να απομακρυνθώ από των αγίων μου; πλην στρέψον έτι, θέλεις ιδεί μεγαλήτερα βδελύγματα.

And he seide to me, Sone of man, gessist thou whether thou seest what thing these men doon, the grete abhomynaciouns whiche the hous of Israel doith here, that Y go fer awei fro my seyntuarie? and yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se grettere abhomynaciouns.

7 Και με έφερεν εις την πύλην της αυλής· και είδον και ιδού, μία οπή εν τω τοίχω.

And he ledde me with ynne to the dore of the halle; and Y siy, and lo! oon hoole in the wal.

8 Και είπε προς εμέ, Υιέ ανθρώπου, σκάψον τώρα εν τω τοίχω· και έσκαψα εν τω τοίχω και ιδού, μία θύρα.

And he seide to me, Sone of man, digge thou the wal; and whanne Y hadde diggid the wal, o dore apperide.

9 Και είπε προς εμέ, Είσελθε και ιδέ τα πονηρά βδελύγματα, τα οποία ούτοι κάμνουσιν εδώ.

And he seide to me, Entre thou, and se the worste abhomynaciouns, whiche these men doon here.

10 Και εισήλθον και είδον· και ιδού, παν ομοίωμα ερπετών και βδελυκτών ζώων και πάντα τα είδωλα του οίκου Ισραήλ, εζωγραφημένα επί τον τοίχον κύκλω κύκλω.

And Y entride, and siy; and lo! ech licnesse of `crepynge beestis, and abhomynacioun of beestis, and alle idols of the hous of Israel, weren peyntid in the wal al aboute in cumpas.

11 Και ίσταντο έμπροσθεν αυτών εβδομήκοντα άνδρες εκ των πρεσβυτέρων του οίκου Ισραήλ· εν μέσω δε αυτών ίστατο Ιααζανίας ο υιός του Σαφάν· και εκράτει έκαστος εν τη χειρί αυτού το θυμιατήριον αυτού· και ανέβαινε πυκνόν νέφος θυμιάματος.

And seuenti men of the eldere of the hous of Israel stoden; and Jeconye, the sone of Saphan, stood in the myddis of hem, stondynge bifore the peyntyngis; and ech man hadde a censere in his hond, and the smoke of a cloude of encense stiede.

12 Και είπε προς εμέ, Υιέ ανθρώπου, είδες τι κάμνουσιν εν τω σκότει οι πρεσβύτεροι του οίκου Ισραήλ, έκαστος εν τω κρυπτώ οικήματι των εικόνων αυτού; διότι είπον, Ο Κύριος δεν μας βλέπει· ο Κύριος εγκατέλιπε την γην.

And he seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou seest what thingis the eldere men of the hous of Israel doen in derknessis, ech man in the hid place of his bed; for thei seiyn, The Lord seeth not vs, the Lord hath forsake the lond.

13 Και είπε προς εμέ, Στρέψον έτι· θέλεις ιδεί μεγαλήτερα βδελύγματα, τα οποία ούτοι κάμνουσι.

And the Lord seide to me, Yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se gretter abhomynaciouns, whiche these men doon.

14 Και με έφερεν εις τα πρόθυρα της πύλης του οίκου του Κυρίου της προς βορράν, και ιδού, εκεί εκάθηντο γυναίκες θρηνούσαι τον Θαμμούζ.

And he ledde me with ynne, bi the dore of the yate of the hous of the Lord, which dore bihelde to the north; and lo! wymmen saten there, biweilynge Adonydes.

15 Και είπε προς εμέ, Είδες, υιέ ανθρώπου; Στρέψον έτι· θέλεις ιδεί μεγαλήτερα βδελύγματα παρά ταύτα.

And the Lord seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou hast seyn; yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se gretere abhomynaciouns than these.

16 Και με εισήγαγεν εις την εσωτέραν αυλήν του οίκου του Κυρίου· και ιδού, εν τη θύρα του ναού του Κυρίου, μεταξύ της στοάς και του θυσιαστηρίου, περίπου είκοσιπέντε άνδρες με τα νώτα αυτών προς τον ναόν του Κυρίου και τα πρόσωπα αυτών προς ανατολάς, και προσεκύνουν τον ήλιον κατά ανατολάς.

And he ledde me with ynne, in to the ynnere halle of the hous of the Lord; and lo! in the dore of the temple of the Lord, bitwixe the porche and the auter, weren as fyue and twenti men hauynge the backis ayens the temple of the Lord, and her faces to the eest; and thei worschipiden at the risyng of the sunne.

17 Και είπε προς εμέ, είδες, υιέ ανθρώπου; Μικρόν είναι τούτο εις τον οίκον Ιούδα, να κάμνωσι τα βδελύγματα, τα οποία ούτοι κάμνουσιν ενταύθα; ώστε εγέμισαν την γην από καταδυναστείας και εξέκλιναν διά να με παροργίσωσι· και ιδού, βάλλουσι τον κλάδον εις τους μυκτήρας αυτών.

And the Lord seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou hast seyn; whether this is a liyt thing to the hous of Juda, that thei schulden do these abhomynaciouns, whiche thei diden here? For thei filliden the lond with wickidnesse, and turneden to terre me to wraththe; and lo! thei applien a braunche to her nose thirlis.

18 Και εγώ λοιπόν θέλω φερθή μετ' οργής· ο οφθαλμός μου δεν θέλει φεισθή ουδέ θέλω ελεήσει· και όταν κράξωσιν εις τα ώτα μου μετά φωνής μεγάλης, δεν θέλω εισακούσει αυτούς.

Therfor and Y schal do in strong veniaunce; myn iye schal not spare, nether Y schal do merci; and whanne thei schulen crie to myn eris with greet vois, Y schal not here hem.
