Ἰεζεκιήλ 34

1 Και έγεινε λόγος Κυρίου προς εμέ, λέγων,

And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

2 Υιέ ανθρώπου, προφήτευσον επί τους ποιμένας του Ισραήλ· προφήτευσον και ειπέ προς αυτούς, Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός προς τους ποιμένας· Ουαί εις τους ποιμένας του Ισραήλ, οίτινες βόσκουσιν εαυτούς· οι ποιμένες δεν βόσκουσι τα ποίμνια;

Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy, and say to them, to the shepherds, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the shepherds of Israel, who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

3 Σεις τρώγετε το πάχος και ενδύεσθε το μαλλίον, σφάζετε τα παχέα· δεν βόσκετε τα ποίμνια.

Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill that which is fatted; but ye feed not the flock.

4 Δεν ενισχύσατε το ασθενές και δεν ιατρεύσατε το κακώς έχον και δεν εκάμετε επίδεσμα εις το συντετριμμένον και δεν επανεφέρατε το πεπλανημένον και δεν εζητήσατε το απολωλός· αλλά εν βία και εν σκληρότητι εδεσπόζετε επ' αυτά.

The weak do ye not strengthen, and the sick do ye not heal, and the wounded do ye not bind up; ye bring not back that which hath been driven away, neither seek ye that which hath been lost; but with force and with cruelty do ye rule them.

5 Και διεσκορπίσθησαν, επειδή δεν υπήρχε ποιμήν, και έγειναν κατάβρωμα εις πάντα τα θηρία του αγρού και διεσκορπίσθησαν.

Therefore are they scattered abroad, because there is no shepherd, and they are food to all the beasts of the field, or are scattered abroad.

6 Τα πρόβατά μου περιεπλανώντο επί παν όρος και επί πάντα λόφον υψηλόν, και επί παν το πρόσωπον της γης ήσαν διεσκορπισμένα τα πρόβατά μου, και δεν υπήρχεν ο ερευνών ουδέ ο ζητών.

My sheep wander through all the mountains, and upon every high hill; yea, over the whole face of the land is my flock scattered, and none careth for them, or seeketh them.

7 Διά τούτο, ακούσατε, ποιμένες, τον λόγον του Κυρίου·

Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of Jehovah:

8 Ζω εγώ, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός, εξάπαντος, επειδή τα πρόβατά μου έγειναν λάφυρον και τα πρόβατά μου έγειναν κατάβρωμα πάντων των θηρίων του αγρού δι' έλλειψιν ποιμένος, και δεν εζήτησαν οι ποιμένες μου τα πρόβατά μου αλλ' οι ποιμένες εβόσκησαν εαυτούς και δεν εβόσκησαν τα πρόβατά μου,

As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, surely, because my flock is become a prey, and my flock is become meat to all the beasts of the field because there is no shepherd, and because my shepherds search not for my flock, and feed themselves, and feed not my flock, —

9 διά τούτο, ακούσατε, ποιμένες, τον λόγον του Κυρίου·

therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of Jehovah.

10 Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Ιδού, εγώ είμαι εναντίον των ποιμένων, και θέλω εκζητήσει τα πρόβατά μου εκ της χειρός αυτών και θέλω παύσει αυτούς από του να ποιμαίνωσι τα πρόβατα· και δεν θέλουσι πλέον βόσκει εαυτούς οι ποιμένες, διότι θέλω ελευθερώσει εκ του στόματος αυτών τα πρόβατά μου και δεν θέλουσιν είσθαι κατάβρωμα εις αυτούς.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, and they shall not be meat for them.

11 Διότι ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Ιδού, εγώ, εγώ θέλω και αναζητήσει τα πρόβατά μου και επισκεφθή αυτά.

For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold I, even I, will seek my flock, and look after them;

12 Καθώς ο ποιμήν επισκέπτεται το ποίμνιον αυτού, καθ' ην ημέραν ευρίσκεται εν μέσω των προβάτων αυτού διεσκορπισμένων, ούτω θέλω επισκεφθή τα πρόβατά μου και θέλω ελευθερώσει αυτά εκ πάντων των τόπων, όπου ήσαν διεσκορπισμένα, εν ημέρα νεφώδει και ζοφερά.

as a shepherd looketh after his flock in the day when he is among his sheep that are scattered, so will I look after my sheep, and will deliver them out of all the places where they have been scattered in the day of clouds and darkness.

13 Και θέλω εξαγάγει αυτά εκ των λαών και συνάξει αυτά εκ των τόπων και φέρει αυτά εις την γην αυτών και βοσκήσει αυτά επί τα όρη του Ισραήλ, πλησίον των ποταμών και επί πάντα τα κατοικούμενα της γης.

And I will bring them out from the nations, and gather them from the countries; and I will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel, in the valleys, and in all the dwelling-places of the land.

14 Θέλω βοσκήσει αυτά εν αγαθή νομή, και η μάνδρα αυτών θέλει είσθαι επί των υψηλών ορέων του Ισραήλ· εκεί θέλουσιν αναπαύεσθαι εν μάνδρα καλή, και θέλουσι βόσκεσθαι εν παχεία νομή επί των ορέων του Ισραήλ.

I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be; there shall they lie down in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.

15 Εγώ θέλω βοσκήσει τα πρόβατά μου και εγώ θέλω αναπαύσει αυτά, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός.

I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord Jehovah.

16 Θέλω εκζητήσει το απολωλός και επαναφέρει το πεπλανημένον και επιδέσει το συντετριμμένον και ενισχύσει το ασθενές· το παχύ όμως και το ισχυρόν θέλω καταστρέψει· εν δικαιοσύνη θέλω βοσκήσει αυτά.

I will seek that which was lost, and bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen the sick; but the fat and the strong will I destroy; I will feed them as they deserve.

17 Και περί υμών, ποίμνιόν μου, ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Ιδού, εγώ θέλω κρίνει αναμέσον προβάτου και προβάτου, αναμέσον κριών και τράγων.

And as for you, O my sheep, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will judge between the weak of the flock and the strong ones, even the rams and the he-goats.

18 Μικρόν είναι εις εσάς, ότι εβοσκήσατε την καλήν βοσκήν, το δε επίλοιπον της βοσκής σας κατεπατείτε με τους πόδας σας; και ότι επίνετε καθαρόν ύδωρ, το δε επίλοιπον εταράττετε με τους πόδας σας;

Seemeth it a small thing to you to eat up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to drink of the clear waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?

19 τα δε πρόβατά μου έβοσκον το καταπεπατημένον με τους πόδας σας και έπινον το τεταραγμένον με τους πόδας σας.

and that my sheep eat that which ye have trodden with your feet, and drink that which ye have fouled with your feet?

20 Διά τούτο ούτω λέγει προς αυτά Κύριος ο Θεός· Ιδού, εγώ, εγώ θέλω η κρίνει αναμέσον προβάτου παχέος και αναμέσον προβάτου ισχνού.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah to them: Behold I, even I, will judge between the fat and the lean of the flock.

21 Επειδή απωθείτε με πλευρά και με ώμους και κερατίζετε διά των κεράτων σας πάντα τα ασθενή, εωσού διεσκορπίσατε αυτά εις τα έξω,

Because ye thrust with your side and with your shoulder, and push all the weak with your horns, till ye scatter them abroad,

22 διά τούτο θέλω σώσει τα πρόβατά μου και δεν θέλουσιν είσθαι πλέον λάφυρον· και θέλω κρίνει αναμέσον προβάτου και προβάτου.

therefore will I save my sheep, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep.

23 Και θέλω καταστήσει επ' αυτά ένα ποιμένα και θέλει ποιμαίνει αυτά, τον δούλον μου Δαβίδ· αυτός θέλει ποιμαίνει αυτά και αυτός θέλει είσθαι ποιμήν αυτών.

And I will raise up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

24 Και εγώ ο Κύριος θέλω είσθαι Θεός αυτών και ο δούλός μου Δαβίδ άρχων εν μέσω αυτών· εγώ ο Κύριος ελάλησα.

And I, Jehovah, will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them. I, Jehovah, have spoken it.

25 Και θέλω κάμει προς αυτά διαθήκην ειρήνης· και θέλω αφανίσει από της γης τα πονηρά θηρία· και θέλουσι κατοικήσει ασφαλώς εν τη ερήμω και κοιμάσθαι εν τοις δρυμοίς.

And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land, so that they shall dwell safely in the desert, and sleep in the woods.

26 Και θέλω καταστήσει ευλογίαν αυτά και τα πέριξ του όρους μου, και θέλω καταβιβάζει την βροχήν εν τω καιρώ αυτής· βροχή ευλογίας θέλει είσθαι.

And I will make them, and the places round about my hill, a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; showers rich in blessings shall there be.

27 Και τα δένδρα του αγρού θέλουσιν αποδίδει τον καρπόν αυτών και η γη θέλει δίδει το προϊόν αυτής και θέλουσιν είσθαι ασφαλείς εν τη γη αυτών· και θέλουσι γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος, όταν συντρίψω τα δεσμά του ζυγού αυτών και ελευθερώσω αυτούς εκ της χειρός των καταδουλωσάντων αυτούς.

And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase; and they shall be secure in their land, and shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall break the bands of their yoke and deliver them out of the hand of them that made them servants.

28 Και δεν θέλουσιν είσθαι πλέον λάφυρον εις τα έθνη, και τα θηρία της γης δεν θέλουσι κατατρώγει αυτούς· αλλά θέλουσι κατοικεί ασφαλώς και δεν θέλει υπάρχει ο εκφοβών.

And they shall no more be a prey to the nations, neither shall the beasts of the land devour them; but they shall dwell in security, and none shall make them afraid.

29 Και θέλω αναστήσει εις αυτούς φυτόν ονομαστόν, και δεν θέλουσι πλέον φθείρεσθαι υπό πείνης εν τη γη και δεν θέλουσι φέρει πλέον την ύβριν των εθνών.

And I will raise up for them a plantation for my glory; and they shall no more be consumed with hunger in the land, neither shall they bear the reproach of the nations any more.

30 Και θέλουσι γνωρίσει ότι εγώ Κύριος ο Θεός αυτών είμαι μετ' αυτών και αυτοί, ο οίκος Ισραήλ, λαός μου, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός.

Then shall they know, that I, Jehovah, their God, am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord Jehovah.

31 Και σεις, πρόβατά μου, τα πρόβατα της βοσκής μου, σεις είσθε άνθρωποι, και εγώ ο Θεός σας, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός.

For ye, my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord Jehovah.
