Ἰεζεκιήλ 10
1 Έπειτα είδον και ιδού, εν τω στερεώματι τω άνωθεν της κεφαλής των χερουβείμ εφαίνετο υπεράνω αυτών ως λίθος σάπφειρος, κατά την θέαν ομοιώματος θρόνου.
Then I looked, and lo, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubs there appeared over them as it were a sapphire-stone, in form like a throne;
2 Και ελάλησε προς τον άνδρα τον ενδεδυμένον τα λινά και είπεν, Είσελθε μεταξύ των τροχών, υποκάτω των χερουβείμ, και γέμισον την χείρα σου άνθρακας πυρός εκ μέσου των χερουβείμ και διασκόρπισον αυτούς επί την πόλιν. Και εισήλθεν ενώπιόν μου.
and He spake to the man that was clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels under the cherub, and fill thy hands with coals of fire, which are between the cherubs, and scatter them over the city. And he went in before my eyes.
3 Τα δε χερουβείμ ίσταντο εν δεξιοίς του οίκου, ότε εισήρχετο ο ανήρ· και η νεφέλη εγέμισε την εσωτέραν αυλήν.
Now the cherubs stood upon the right side of the house when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.
4 Και η δόξα του Κυρίου υψώθη άνωθεν των χερουβείμ κατά το κατώφλιον του οίκου· και ενέπλησε τον οίκον η νεφέλη και η αυλή ενεπλήσθη από της λάμψεως της δόξης του Κυρίου.
And the glory of Jehovah was lifted up from the cherub to the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled with the brightness of the glory of Jehovah.
5 Και ο ήχος των πτερύγων των χερουβείμ ηκούετο έως της εξωτέρας αυλής, ως φωνή του Παντοδυνάμου Θεού, οπόταν λαλή.
And the sound of the wings of the cherubs was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of God, the Almighty, when he speaketh.
6 Και ότε προσέταξε τον άνδρα τον ενδεδυμένον τα λινά, λέγων, Λάβε πυρ εκ μέσου των τροχών, εκ μέσου των χερουβείμ, τότε εισήλθε και εστάθη πλησίον των τροχών.
And when he commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubs, he went in and stood beside the wheels.
7 Και εν χερούβ εξέτεινε την χείρα αυτού εκ μέσου των χερουβείμ, προς το πυρ το εν τω μέσω των χερουβείμ, και έλαβεν εκ τούτου και έθεσεν εις τας χείρας του ενδεδυμένου τα λινά· ο δε έλαβεν αυτό και εξήλθεν.
And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubs to the fire that was between the cherubs, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen, who took it, and went out.
8 Εφαίνετο δε ομοίωμα χειρός ανθρώπου εις τα χερουβείμ υπό τας πτέρυγας αυτών.
And there was seen in the cherubs the form of a man's hand under their wings.
9 Και είδον και ιδού, τέσσαρες τροχοί πλησίον των χερουβείμ, εις τροχός πλησίον ενός χερούβ και εις τροχός πλησίον άλλον χερούβ, και η θέα των τροχών ήτο ως όψις βηρύλλου λίθου.
And when I looked, behold, four wheels were by the cherubs, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub; and the appearance of the wheels was like that of a chrysolite.
10 Περί δε της θέας αυτών, και οι τέσσαρες είχον το αυτό ομοίωμα, ως εάν ήτο τροχός εν μέσω τροχού.
And as to their appearance, all four had one form, as if a wheel were in the midst of a wheel.
11 Ενώ εβάδιζον, επορεύοντο κατά τα τέσσαρα αυτών πλάγια· δεν εστρέφοντο ενώ εβάδιζον, αλλ' εις όντινα τόπον ο πρώτος απευθύνετο, ηκολούθουν αυτόν οι άλλοι· δεν εστρέφοντο ενώ εβάδιζον.
When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not about when they went; but to the place whither the head looked they followed it, they turned not about when they went.
12 Όλον δε το σώμα αυτών και τα νώτα αυτών και αι χείρες αυτών και αι πτέρυγες αυτών και οι τροχοί, οι τέσσαρες αυτών τροχοί, ήσαν κύκλω πλήρεις οφθαλμών.
And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels which they four had.
13 Περί δε των τροχών, ούτοι εκαλούντο, ακούοντος εμού, Γαλγάλ.
And as to these wheels, each one of them in my hearing was called Whirlwind.
14 Και έκαστον είχε τέσσαρα πρόσωπα· το πρόσωπον του ενός πρόσωπον χερούβ, και το πρόσωπον του δευτέρου πρόσωπον ανθρώπου, και του τρίτου πρόσωπον λέοντος, και του τετάρτου πρόσωπον αετού.
And every one had four faces. The first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
15 Και τα χερουβείμ υψώθησαν τούτο είναι το ζώον, το οποίον είδον παρά τον ποταμόν Χεβάρ.
And the cherubs were lifted up. They were the living creatures which I saw by the river Chebar.
16 Και ότε τα χερουβείμ επορεύοντο, επορεύοντο οι τροχοί πλησίον αυτών και ότε τα χερουβείμ ύψονον τας πτέρυγας αυτών διά να ανυψωθώσιν από της γης, και αυτοί οι τροχοί δεν εξέκλινον από πλησίον αυτών.
And when the cherubs went, the wheels went with them; and when the cherubs lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels turned not away from their side.
17 Ότε δε ίσταντο, και εκείνοι ίσταντο· και ότε ανυψούντο, και εκείνοι ανυψούντο μετ' αυτών διότι το πνεύμα των ζώων ήτο εν αυτοίς.
When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these were liked up with them. For the spirit of the living creatures was in them.
18 Και η δόξα του Κυρίου εξήλθεν από του κατωφλίου του οίκου και εστάθη επί των χερουβείμ.
Then the glory of Jehovah departed from the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubs.
19 Και τα χερουβείμ ύψωσαν τας πτέρυγας αυτών και ανυψώθησαν από της γης ενώπιόν μου ότε εξήλθον, ήσαν και οι τροχοί πλησίον αυτών· και εστάθησαν εν τη θύρα της ανατολικής πύλης του οίκου του Κυρίου· και η δόξα του Θεού του Ισραήλ ήτο επ' αυτών υπεράνωθεν.
And the cherubs lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight, as they went out, and the wheels were beside them. And they stood at the entrance of the east gate of the house of Jehovah, and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
20 Τούτο είναι το ζώον, το οποίον είδον υποκάτω του Θεού του Ισραήλ παρά τον ποταμόν Χεβάρ· και εγνώρισα ότι ήσαν χερουβείμ.
They were the living creatures which I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubs.
21 Έκαστον είχεν ανά τέσσαρα πρόσωπα και έκαστον τέσσαρας πτέρυγας και ομοίωμα χειρών ανθρώπου υπό τας πτέρυγας αυτών.
Every one had four faces, and every one four wings, and the form of a man's hand was under their wings.
22 Τα δε πρόσωπα αυτών ήσαν κατά το ομοίωμα, τα αυτά πρόσωπα, τα οποία είδον παρά τον ποταμόν Χεβάρ, η θέα αυτών και αυτά· επορεύοντο δε έκαστον κατέναντι του προσώπου αυτού.
And as for the form of their faces, they were the faces which I saw by the river Chebar, their appearances and themselves. They went every one straight forward.
