Ἔξοδος 11
1 Είπε δε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν, Έτι μίαν πληγήν θέλω φέρει επί τον Φαραώ και επί την Αίγυπτον· μετά ταύτα θέλει σας εξαποστείλει εντεύθεν· εξαποστέλλων υμάς θέλει βεβαίως και διώξει υμάς ολοκλήρως εντεύθεν·
And the Lord said unto Moses, Yet one plague more will I bring upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; after that he will let you go hence: when he doth let you go, he shall surely thrust you out altogether from here.
2 λάλησον τώρα εις τα ώτα του λαού, και ας ζητήση πας ανήρ παρά του γείτονος αυτού, και πάσα γυνή παρά της γείτονος αυτής, σκεύη αργυρά, και σκεύη χρυσά.
Speak now in the ears of the people, and let them ask every man of his neighbor, and every woman of her neighbor, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold.
3 Και έδωκεν ο Κύριος χάριν εις τον λαόν ενώπιον των Αιγυπτίων· έτι δε ο άνθρωπος ο Μωϋσής ήτο μέγας σφόδρα εν τη γη της Αιγύπτου έμπροσθεν των θεραπόντων του Φαραώ και έμπροσθεν του λαού.
And the Lord gave the people favor in the eyes of the Egyptians; also the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the eyes of Pharaoh's servants, and in the eyes of the people.
4 Και είπεν ο Μωϋσής, Ούτω λέγει ο Κύριος· Περί το μεσονύκτιον εγώ θέλω εξέλθει εις το μέσον της Αιγύπτου·
And Moses said, Thus hath said the Lord, About midnight will I go out in the midst of Egypt:
5 και παν πρωτότοκον εν τη γη της Αιγύπτου θέλει αποθάνει, από του πρωτοτόκου του Φαραώ, όστις κάθηται επί του θρόνου αυτού, έως του πρωτοτόκου της δούλης, ήτις δουλεύει εν τω μύλω, και παν πρωτότοκον των κτηνών·
And there shall die every first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of Pharaoh that is to sit upon his throne, even unto the first-born of the maid-servant that is behind the mill; and every first-born of cattle.
6 και θέλει είσθαι καθ' όλην την γην της Αιγύπτου κραυγή μεγάλη, οποία ποτέ δεν έγεινεν, ουδέ μετά ταύτα θέλει γείνει τοιαύτη·
And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, the like of which hath never been, and the like of which will not be any more.
7 επί πάντας όμως τους υιούς Ισραήλ δεν θέλει κινήσει σκύλος την γλώσσαν αυτού, από ανθρώπου έως κτήνους· διά να γνωρίσητε ότι ο Κύριος έκαμε διάκρισιν μεταξύ των Αιγυπτίων και του Ισραήλ·
But against any of the children of Israel not a dog shall move his tongue, neither against man nor beast; in order that ye may know how that the Lord doth distinguish between the Egyptians and Israel.
8 και πάντες ούτοι οι δούλοί σου θέλουσι καταβή προς εμέ και θέλουσι προσπέσει έμπροσθέν μου λέγοντες, Έξελθε συ και πας ο λαός ο ακολουθών σε· και μετά ταύτα θέλω εξέλθει. Και εξήλθεν ο Μωϋσής από του Φαραώ μετά θυμού μεγάλου.
And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow themselves down unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that followeth thee; and after that I will go out: and he went out from Pharaoh in a burning anger.
9 Και είπε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν, Δεν θέλει σας εισακούσει ο Φαραώ, διά να πληθυνθώσι τα θαυμάσιά μου εν τη γη της Αιγύπτου.
And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh will not hearken unto you; in order that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
10 Ο Μωϋσής δε και ο Ααρών έκαμον πάντα τα θαυμάσια ταύτα ενώπιον του Φαραώ· ο δε Κύριος εσκλήρυνε την καρδίαν του Φαραώ, και δεν εξαπέστειλε τους υιούς Ισραήλ εκ της γης αυτού.
And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh; and the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
