Προς Εφεσιους 3
1 Διά τούτο εγώ ο Παύλος, ο δέσμιος του Ιησού Χριστού υπέρ υμών των εθνικών,
For this cause, I Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you the nations,
2 επειδή ηκούσατε την οικονομίαν της χάριτος του Θεού της δοθείσης εις εμέ υπέρ υμών,
if, indeed, you heard of the dispensation of the grace of God that was given to me in regard to you,
3 ότι δι' αποκαλύψεως εφανέρωσεν εις εμέ το μυστήριον, καθώς προέγραψα συντόμως,
that by revelation He made known to me the secret, according as I wrote before in few [words]—
4 εξ ων δύνασθε αναγινώσκοντες να νοήσητε την εν τω μυστηρίω του Χριστού γνώσιν μου,
in regard to which you are able, reading [it], to understand my knowledge in the secret of the Christ,
5 το οποίον εν άλλαις γενεαίς δεν εγνωστοποιήθη εις τους υιούς των ανθρώπων, καθώς τώρα απεκαλύφθη διά Πνεύματος εις τους αγίους αυτού αποστόλους και προφήτας,
which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it was now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit—
6 να ήναι τα έθνη συγκληρονόμα και σύσσωμα και συμμέτοχα της επαγγελίας αυτού εν τω Χριστώ διά του ευαγγελίου,
that the nations are fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of His promise in the Christ, through the good news,
7 του οποίου έγεινα υπηρέτης κατά την δωρεάν της χάριτος του Θεού, την δοθείσαν εις εμέ κατά την ενέργειαν της δυνάμεως αυτού.
of which I became a servant, according to the gift of the grace of God that was given to me, according to the working of His power;
8 Εις εμέ τον πλέον ελάχιστον πάντων των αγίων εδόθη η χάρις αύτη, να ευαγγελίσω μεταξύ των εθνών τον ανεξιχνίαστον πλούτον του Χριστού
to me—the less than the least of all the holy ones—was given this grace, among the nations to proclaim good news—the untraceable riches of the Christ,
9 και να φωτίσω πάντας, ποία είναι η κοινωνία του μυστηρίου του αποκεκρυμμένου από των αιώνων εν τω Θεώ όστις έκτισε τα πάντα διά του Ιησού Χριστού, (aiōn g165)
and to cause all to see what [is] the fellowship of the secret that has been hid from the ages in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ, (aiōn g165)
10 διά να γνωρισθή τώρα διά της εκκλησίας εν τοις επουρανίοις εις τας αρχάς και τας εξουσίας η πολυποίκιλος σοφία του Θεού,
that there might be made known now to the principalities and the authorities in the heavenly [places], through the Assembly, the manifold wisdom of God,
according to a purpose of the ages, which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord, (aiōn g165)
12 διά του οποίου έχομεν την παρρησίαν και την είσοδον με πεποίθησιν διά της εις αυτόν πίστεως.
in whom we have the freedom and the access in confidence through the faith of Him,
13 Διά τούτο σας παρακαλώ να μη αθυμήτε διά τας υπέρ υμών θλίψεις μου, το οποίον είναι δόξα υμών.
for this reason, I ask [you] not to faint in my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
14 Διά τούτο κάμπτω τα γόνατά μου προς τον Πατέρα του Κυρίου ημών Ιησού Χριστού,
For this cause I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 εκ του οποίου πάσα πατριά εν ουρανοίς και επί γης ονομάζεται,
of whom the whole family in the heavens and on earth is named,
16 διά να δώση εις εσάς κατά τον πλούτον της δόξης αυτού, να κραταιωθήτε εν δυνάμει διά του Πνεύματος αυτού εις τον εσωτερικόν άνθρωπον,
that He may give to you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened through His Spirit with might, in regard to the inner man,
17 διά να κατοικήση ο Χριστός διά της πίστεως εν ταις καρδίαις υμών,
that the Christ may dwell through the faith in your hearts, having been rooted and founded in love,
18 ώστε να δυνηθήτε, ερριζωμένοι και τεθεμελιωμένοι εν αγάπη, να καταλάβητε μετά πάντων των αγίων τι το πλάτος και μήκος και βάθος και ύψος,
that you may be in strength to comprehend, with all the holy ones, what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height,
19 και να γνωρίσητε την αγάπην του Χριστού την υπερβαίνουσαν πάσαν γνώσιν, διά να πληρωθήτε με όλον το πλήρωμα του Θεού.
to know also the love of the Christ that is exceeding the knowledge, that you may be filled—to all the fullness of God;
20 Εις δε τον δυνάμενον υπερεκπερισσού να κάμη υπέρ πάντα όσα ζητούμεν ή νοούμεν, κατά την δύναμιν την ενεργουμένην εν ημίν,
and to Him who is able to do exceedingly [and] abundantly above all things that we ask or think, according to the power that is working in us,
