Δευτερονόμιον 3
1 Τότε στρέψαντες ανέβημεν την οδόν την εις Βασάν· και εξήλθεν Ωγ ο βασιλεύς της Βασάν εις συνάντησιν ημών, αυτός και πας ο λαός αυτού, διά μάχην εις Εδρεΐ.
And we turned and we went up [the] way of Bashan and he came forth Og [the] king of Bashan to meet us he and all people his for battle Edrei.
2 Και είπε Κύριος προς εμέ, Μη φοβηθής αυτόν· διότι εις την χείρα σου παρέδωκα αυτόν και πάντα τον λαόν αυτού και την γην αυτού· και θέλεις κάμει εις αυτόν, ως έκαμες εις τον Σηών βασιλέα των Αμορραίων, όστις κατώκει εν Εσεβών.
And he said Yahweh to me may not you fear him for in hand your I give him and all people his and land his and you will do to him just as you did to Sihon [the] king of the Amorite[s] who [was] dwelling in Heshbon.
3 Και παρέδωκε Κύριος ο Θεός ημών εις την χείρα ημών και τον Ωγ, βασιλέα της Βασάν, και πάντα τον λαόν αυτού· και επατάξαμεν αυτόν, εωσού δεν αφήκαμεν εις αυτόν υπόλοιπον.
And he gave Yahweh God our in hand our also Og [the] king of Bashan and all people his and we struck down him until not he had left to him a survivor.
4 Και εκυριεύσαμεν πάσας τας πόλεις αυτού κατ' εκείνον τον καιρόν· δεν εστάθη πόλις, την οποίαν δεν ελάβομεν απ' αυτών· εξήκοντα πόλεις, πάσαν την περίχωρον της Αργόβ, το βασίλειον του Ωγ εν Βασάν.
And we captured all cities his at the time that not it was a town which not we took from with them sixty citi[es] all [the] region of Argob [the] kingdom of Og in Bashan.
5 Αι πόλεις αύται ήσαν πάσαι ωχυρωμέναι με τείχη υψηλά, με πύλας και μοχλούς· εκτός μεγάλου πλήθους ατειχίστων πόλεων.
All these [were] cities fortified wall high gates and bar[s] apart from [the] cities of the hamlet-dweller[s] many very.
6 Και εξωλοθρεύσαμεν αυτάς, καθώς εκάμομεν εις τον Σηών βασιλέα της Εσεβών, εξολοθρεύοντες πάσαν πόλιν, άνδρας, γυναίκας και παιδία.
And we totally destroyed them just as we had done to Sihon [the] king of Heshbon we totally destroyed every city of men the women and the little one[s].
7 Πάντα δε τα κτήνη και τα λάφυρα των πόλεων ελεηλατήσαμεν δι' εαυτούς.
And all the livestock and [the] booty of the cities we plundered for ourselves.
8 Και ελάβομεν κατ' εκείνον τον καιρόν από των χειρών των δύο βασιλέων των Αμορραίων την γην την εντεύθεν του Ιορδάνου, από του ποταμού Αρνών έως του όρους Αερμών·
And we took at the time that the land from [the] hand of [the] two [the] kings of the Amorite[s] who [were] on [the] other side of the Jordan from [the] wadi of Arnon to [the] mountain of Hermon.
9 το Αερμών ονομάζουσιν οι Σιδώνιοι Σιριών, οι δε Αμορραίοι ονομάζουσιν αυτό Σενείρ·
[the] Sidonians They call Hermon Sirion and the Amorite[s] they call it Senir.
10 πάσας τας πόλεις της πεδιάδος και πάσαν την Γαλαάδ και πάσαν την Βασάν έως Σαλχά και Εδρεΐ, πόλεις του βασιλείου του Ωγ εν Βασάν.
All - [the] cities of the plain and all Gilead and all Bashan to Salecah and Edrei [the] cities of [the] kingdom of Og in Bashan.
11 Διότι μόνος ο Ωγ βασιλεύς της Βασάν εσώζετο εκ του υπολοίπου των γιγάντων· ιδού, η κλίνη αυτού ήτο κλίνη σιδηρά· δεν σώζεται αύτη εν Ραββά των υιών Αμμών; εννέα πήχαι το μήκος αυτής και τέσσαρες πήχαι το πλάτος αυτής, κατά πήχην ανδρός.
For only Og [the] king of Bashan he survived from [the] remnant of the Rephaites there! sarcophagus his [was] a sarcophagus of iron ¿ not [is] it in Rabbah of [the] people of Ammon [was] nine cubits length its and [was] four cubits breadth its by a cubit of a human.
12 Και την γην εκείνην, την οποίαν εκυριεύσαμεν κατ' εκείνον τον καιρόν, από της Αροήρ, της παρά τον ποταμόν Αρνών, και το ήμισυ του όρους Γαλαάδ και τας πόλεις αυτού, έδωκα εις τους Ρουβηνίτας και εις τους Γαδίτας.
And the land this we took possession of at the time that from Aroer which [was] at [the] wadi of Arnon and [the] half of [the] hill country of Gilead and cities its I gave to the Reubenite[s] and to the Gadite[s].
13 Και το υπόλοιπον της Γαλαάδ και πάσαν την Βασάν, το βασίλειον του Ωγ, έδωκα εις το ήμισυ της φυλής του Μανασσή, πάσαν την περίχωρον της Αργόβ μετά πάσης της Βασάν, ήτις ωνομάζετο γη γιγάντων.
And [the] remainder of Gilead and all Bashan [the] kingdom of Og I gave to [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh all [the] region of Argob to all Bashan it it was called [the] land of [the] Rephaites.
14 Ιαείρ ο υιός του Μανασσή έλαβε πάσαν την περίχωρον της Αργόβ μέχρι των ορίων της Γεσσουρί και Μααχαθί· και ωνόμασεν αυτάς κατά το όνομα αυτού, Βασάν-αβώθ-ιαείρ, μέχρι της ημέρας ταύτης.
Jair [the] son of Manasseh he took all [the] region of Argob to [the] border of the Geshurite[s] and the Maacathite[s] and he called them on own name his Bashan [the] villages of Jair until the day this.
15 Και εις τον Μαχείρ έδωκα την Γαλαάδ.
And to Makir I gave Gilead.
16 Και εις τους Ρουβηνίτας και εις τους Γαδίτας έδωκα από Γαλαάδ έως του ποταμού Αρνών το μέσον του ποταμού, και το όριον και έως του ποταμού Ιαβόκ, του ορίου των υιών Αμμών·
And to the Reubenite[s] and to the Gadite[s] I gave from Gilead and to [the] wadi of Arnon [the] middle of the wadi and a border and to Jabbok the wadi [is] [the] border of [the] people of Ammon.
17 και την πεδιάδα και τον Ιορδάνην και το όριον από Χιννερώθ μέχρι της θαλάσσης της πεδιάδος, της αλμυράς θαλάσσης, υποκάτω της Ασδώθ-φασγά προς ανατολάς.
And the Arabah and the Jordan and a border from Kinnereth and to [the] sea of the Arabah [the] Sea of Salt under [the] slopes of Pisgah east-ward.
18 Και προσέταξα εις εσάς κατ' εκείνον τον καιρόν, λέγων, Κύριος ο Θεός σας έδωκεν εις εσάς την γην ταύτην να κυριεύσητε αυτήν· θέλετε περάσει ώπλισμένοι ενώπιον των αδελφών σας των υιών Ισραήλ, πάντες οι άνδρες οι δυνατοί·
And I commanded you at the time that saying Yahweh God your he has given to you the land this to take possession of it equipped you will pass over before countrymen your [the] people of Israel O all [the] sons of strength.
19 πλην αι γυναίκές σας και τα παιδία σας και τα κτήνη σας, εξεύρω ότι έχετε κτήνη πολλά, θέλουσι μένει εις τας πόλεις σας, τας οποίας έδωκα εις εσάς·
Only wives your and little one[s] your and livestock your I know that livestock much [belongs] to you they will remain in cities your which I have given to you.
20 εωσού δώση ο Κύριος ανάπαυσιν εις τους αδελφούς σας, καθώς και εις εσάς, και κυριεύσωσι και αυτοί την γην, την οποίαν έδωκεν εις αυτούς Κύριος ο Θεός σας, εις το πέραν του Ιορδάνου· και τότε θέλετε επιστρέψει έκαστος εις την κληρονομίαν αυτού, την οποίαν έδωκα εις εσάς.
Until that he will give rest Yahweh - to countrymen your like you and they will take possession of also they the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to them on [the] other side of the Jordan and you will return everyone to possession his which I have given to you.
21 Και κατ' εκείνον τον καιρόν προσέταξα εις τον Ιησούν λέγων, Οι οφθαλμοί σου είδον πάντα όσα Κύριος ο Θεός σας έκαμεν εις τους δύο τούτους βασιλείς· ούτω θέλει κάμει ο Κύριος εις πάντα τα βασίλεια, εις τα οποία διαβαίνεις·
And Joshua I commanded at the time that saying eyes your [are] the [ones which] have seen all that he did Yahweh God your to [the] two the kings these thus he will do Yahweh to all the kingdoms where you [are] about to pass over there.
22 δεν θέλετε φοβηθή αυτούς· διότι Κύριος ο Θεός σας αυτός θέλει πολεμήσει υπέρ υμών.
Not you must fear them for Yahweh God your he [is] the [one who] will fight for you.
23 Και εδεήθην του Κυρίου κατ' εκείνον τον καιρόν, λέγων,
And I sought favor to Yahweh at the time that saying.
24 Κύριε Θεέ, συ ήρχισας να δεικνύης εις τον δούλον σου την μεγαλωσύνην σου και την κραταιάν σου χείρα· διότι τις Θεός είναι εν τω ουρανώ ή εν τη γη όστις δύναται να κάμη κατά τα έργα σου και κατά την δύναμίν σου;
O Lord Yahweh you you have begun to show servant your greatness your and hand your strong that who? [is] God in the heavens and on the earth who he will do like works your and like mighty deeds your.
25 ας διαβώ, δέομαι, και ας ίδω την γην την αγαθήν, την πέραν του Ιορδάνου, εκείνο το όρος το αγαθόν, και τον Λίβανον.
Let me pass over please so I may see the land good which [is] on [the] other side of the Jordan the hill country good this and Lebanon.
26 Αλλ' ο Κύριος εθυμώθη εναντίον μου εξ αιτίας σας και δεν μου εισήκουσε· και είπε Κύριος προς εμέ, Αρκεί εις σέ· μη λαλήσης προς εμέ πλέον περί τούτου·
And he was furious Yahweh with me on account of you and not he listened to me and he said Yahweh to me enough for you may not you repeat to speak to me again in the matter this.
27 ανάβα εις την κορυφήν του Φασγά και ύψωσον τους οφθαλμούς σου προς δυσμάς και βορράν και μεσημβρίαν και ανατολάς, και θεώρησον διά των οφθαλμών σου· διότι δεν θέλεις διαβή τον Ιορδάνην τούτον·
Go up - [the] top of Pisgah and lift up eyes your west-ward and north-ward and south-ward and east-ward and see with own eyes your that not you will pass over the Jordan this.
28 και παράγγειλον εις τον Ιησούν και ενθάρρυνον αυτόν και ενίσχυσον αυτόν· διότι ούτος θέλει διαβή έμπροσθεν του λαού τούτου και ούτος θέλει κληροδοτήσει εις αυτούς την γην, την οποίαν θέλεις ιδεί.
And commission Joshua and encourage him and strengthen him for he he will pass over before the people this and he he will give as an inheritance them the land which you will see.
29 Και εκαθήμεθα εν τη κοιλάδι κατέναντι Βαιθ-φεγώρ.
And we remained in the valley opposite to Beth Peor.
