Δευτερονόμιον 28

1 Και εάν υπακούης επιμελώς εις την φωνήν Κυρίου του Θεού σου, διά να προσέχης να κάμνης πάσας τας εντολάς αυτού, τας οποίας εγώ προστάζω εις σε σήμερον, θέλει σε υψώσει Κύριος ο Θεός σου υπεράνω πάντων των εθνών της γής·

And it shall come to pass, if thou shall hearken diligently to the voice of Jehovah thy God, to observe to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that Jehovah thy God will set thee on high above all the nations of the earth,

2 και θέλουσιν ελθεί επί σε πάσαι αι ευλογίαι αύται και θέλουσι σε ευρεί, εάν υπακούσης εις την φωνήν Κυρίου του Θεού σου.

and all these blessings shall come upon thee, and overtake thee, if thou shall hearken to the voice of Jehovah thy God:

3 Ευλογημένος θέλεις είσθαι εν τη πόλει και ευλογημένος θέλεις είσθαι εν τω αγρώ.

Blessed shall thou be in the city, and blessed shall thou be in the field.

4 Ευλογημένος ο καρπός της κοιλίας σου και ο καρπός της γης σου και ο καρπός των κτηνών σου, αι αγέλαι των βοών σου και τα ποίμνια των προβάτων σου.

Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy beasts, the increase of thy cattle, and the young of thy flock.

5 Ευλογημένον το καλάθιόν σου και η σκάφη σου.

Blessed shall be thy basket and thy kneading-trough.

6 Ευλογημένος θέλεις είσθαι όταν εισέρχησαι, και ευλογημένος θέλεις είσθαι όταν εξέρχησαι.

Blessed shall thou be when thou come in, and blessed shall thou be when thou go out.

7 Τους εχθρούς σου, τους επανισταμένους επί σε, ο Κύριος θέλει κάμει αυτούς να συντριφθώσιν έμπροσθέν σου· από μιας οδού θέλουσιν εξέλθει επί σε, και από επτά οδών θέλουσι φύγει από προσώπου σου.

Jehovah will cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thee. They shall come out against thee one way, and shall flee before thee seven ways.

8 Ο Κύριος θέλει εξαποστέλλει επί σε την ευλογίαν εις τας αποθήκας σου και εις πάντα όσα επιβάλης την χείρα σου· και θέλει σε ευλογήσει επί της γης την οποίαν Κύριος ο Θεός σου δίδει εις σε.

Jehovah will command the blessing upon thee in thy barns, and in all that thou put thy hand to. And he will bless thee in the land which Jehovah thy God gives thee.

9 Ο Κύριος θέλει σε καταστήσει εις εαυτόν λαόν άγιον, καθώς ώμοσε προς σε, εάν φυλάττης τας εντολάς Κυρίου του Θεού σου, και περιπατής εις τας οδούς αυτού.

Jehovah will establish thee for a holy people to himself, as he has sworn to thee, if thou shall keep the commandments of Jehovah thy God, and walk in his ways.

10 Και πάντες οι λαοί της γης θέλουσιν ιδεί, ότι το όνομα του Κυρίου επικέκληται επί σε, και θέλουσι τρομάζει από σου.

And all the peoples of the earth shall see that thou are called by the name of Jehovah, and they shall be afraid of thee.

11 Και ο Κύριος θέλει σε πληθύνει εις αγαθά, εις τον καρπόν της κοιλίας σου και εις τον καρπόν των κτηνών σου και εις τα γεννήματα της γης σου, επί της γης την οποίαν ώμοσε Κύριος προς τους πατέρας σου να δώση εις σε.

And Jehovah will make thee plenteous for good, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which Jehovah swore to thy fathers to give thee.

12 Ο Κύριος θέλει ανοίξει εις σε τον αγαθόν θησαυρόν αυτού, τον ουρανόν, διά να δίδη βροχήν εις την γην σου κατά τον καιρόν αυτής, και διά να ευλογή πάντα τα έργα των χειρών σου· και θέλεις δανείζει εις πολλά έθνη, συ δε δεν θέλεις δανείζεσθαι.

Jehovah will open to thee his good treasure the heavens, to give the rain of thy land in its season, and to bless all the work of thy hand. And thou shall lend to many nations, and thou shall not borrow.

13 Και θέλει σε καταστήσει ο Κύριος κεφαλήν και ουχί ουράν· και θέλεις είσθαι μόνον υπεράνω και δεν θέλεις είσθαι υποκάτω· εάν υπακούσης εις τας εντολάς Κυρίου του Θεού σου, τας οποίας εγώ προστάζω εις σε σήμερον, να φυλάττης και να εκτελής·

And Jehovah will make thee the head, and not the tail. And thou shall only be above, and thou shall not be beneath, if thou shall hearken to the commandments of Jehovah thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do,

14 και δεν θέλεις εκκλίνει από πάντων των λόγων, τους οποίους εγώ προστάζω εις εσάς σήμερον, δεξιά ή αριστερά, διά να υπάγης κατόπιν άλλων θεών διά να λατρεύσης αυτούς.

and shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

15 Αλλ' εάν δεν υπακούσης εις την φωνήν Κυρίου του Θεού σου, διά να προσέχης να εκτελής πάσας τας εντολάς αυτού και τα διατάγματα αυτού, τα οποία εγώ προστάζω εις σε σήμερον, πάσαι αι κατάραι αύται θέλουσιν ελθεί επί σε και θέλουσι σε ευρεί.

But it shall come to pass, if thou will not hearken to the voice of Jehovah thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day, that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

16 Κατηραμένος θέλεις είσθαι εν τη πόλει, και κατηραμένος θέλεις είσθαι εν τω αγρώ.

Cursed shall thou be in the city, and cursed shall thou be in the field.

17 Κατηραμένον το καλάθιόν σου και η σκάφη σου.

Cursed shall be thy basket and thy kneading-trough.

18 Κατηραμένος ο καρπός της κοιλίας σου και τα γεννήματα της γης σου, αι αγέλαι των βοών σου και τα ποίμνια των προβάτων σου.

Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, the increase of thy cattle, and the young of thy flock.

19 Κατηραμένος θέλεις είσθαι όταν εισέρχησαι, και κατηραμένος θέλεις είσθαι όταν εξέρχησαι.

Cursed shall thou be when thou come in, and cursed shall thou be when thou go out.

20 Ο Κύριος θέλει εξαποστείλει επί σε την κατάραν, την θλίψιν και την φθοράν, εις πάντα όσα επιβάλης την χείρα σου διά να πράξης, εωσού εξολοθρευθής και εωσού αφανισθής ταχέως, διά την πονηρίαν των έργων σου, διότι εγκατέλιπες εμέ.

Jehovah will send upon thee cursing, discomfiture, and rebuke, in all that thou put thy hand to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly, because of the evil of thy doings, by which thou have forsaken me.

21 Ο Κύριος θέλει προσκολλήσει εις σε το θανατικόν, εωσού σε εξολοθρεύση από της γης, όπου υπάγεις να κληρονομήσης αυτήν.

Jehovah will make the pestilence cling to thee, until he has consumed thee from off the land, where thou go in to possess it.

22 Ο Κύριος θέλει σε πατάξει με μαρασμόν και με πυρετόν και με ρίγος και με φλόγωσιν και με μάχαιραν και με ανεμοφθορίαν και με ερυσίβην· και θέλουσι σε καταδιώκει εωσού αφανισθής.

Jehovah will smite thee with consumption, and with fever, and with inflammation, and with fiery heat, and with the sword, and with blight, and with mildew. And they shall pursue thee until thou perish.

23 Και ο ουρανός σου ο υπεράνω της κεφαλής σου θέλει είσθαι χαλκός, και η γη η υποκάτω σου σίδηρος.

And thy sky that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.

24 Ο Κύριος θέλει δώσει την βροχήν της γης σου κονιορτόν και χώμα· εκ του ουρανού θέλει καταβαίνει επί σε, εωσού εξολοθρευθής.

Jehovah will make the rain of thy land powder and dust. From the sky it shall come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

25 Ο Κύριος θέλει σε κάμει να συντριφθής έμπροσθεν των εχθρών σου· από μιας οδού θέλεις εξέλθει επ' αυτούς, και από επτά οδών θέλεις φύγει από προσώπου αυτών· και θέλεις διασκορπισθή εις πάντα τα βασίλεια της γης.

Jehovah will cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies. Thou shall go out one way against them, and shall flee seven ways before them. And thou shall be tossed to and fro among all the kingdoms of the earth.

26 Και το πτώμά σου θέλει είσθαι τροφή εις πάντα τα όρνεα του ουρανού και εις τα θηρία της γης, και δεν θέλει είσθαι ο αποδιώκων.

And thy dead body shall be food to all birds of the sky, and to the beasts of the earth, and there shall be none to frighten them away.

27 Ο Κύριος θέλει σε πατάξει με την Αιγυπτιακήν πληγήν και με αιμορροΐδας και με ψώραν και με ξυσμόν, ώστε να μη δύνασαι να ιατρευθής.

Jehovah will smite thee with the boil of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scurvy, and with the itch, of which thou cannot be healed.

28 Ο Κύριος θέλει σε πατάξει με αφροσύνην και με τύφλωσιν και με έκστασιν καρδίας·

Jehovah will smite thee with madness, and with blindness, and with confusion of mind,

29 και θέλεις ψηλαφά εν τω μέσω της ημέρας, ως ο τυφλός ψηλαφά εν τω σκότει, και δεν θέλεις ευοδούσθαι εις τας οδούς σου· και θέλεις είσθαι μόνον καταδυναστευόμενος και διαρπαζόμενος πάσας τας ημέρας, και δεν θέλει είσθαι ο σώζων.

and thou shall grope at noonday, as the blind man gropes in darkness. And thou shall not prosper in thy ways. And thou shall only be oppressed and robbed always, and there shall be none to save thee.

30 Θέλεις αρραβωνισθή γυναίκα, και άλλος ανήρ θέλει κοιμηθή μετ' αυτής· οικίαν θέλεις οικοδομήσει, και δεν θέλεις κατοικήσει εν αυτή· αμπελώνα θέλεις φυτεύσει, και δεν θέλεις τρυγήσει αυτόν.

Thou shall betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her. Thou shall build a house, and thou shall not dwell in it. Thou shall plant a vineyard, and shall not use the fruit of it.

31 Ο βους σου θέλει είσθαι εσφαγμένος ενώπιόν σου, και δεν θέλεις φάγει εξ αυτού· ο όνος σου θέλει αρπαχθή απ' έμπροσθέν σου και δεν θέλει αποδοθή εις σέ· τα πρόβατά σου θέλουσι παραδοθή εις τους εχθρούς σου, και δεν θέλει είσθαι εις σε ο σώζων.

Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shall not eat of it. Thy donkey shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee. Thy sheep shall be given to thine enemies, and thou shall have none to save thee.

32 Οι υιοί σου και αι θυγατέρες σου θέλουσι παραδοθή εις άλλον λαόν, και οι οφθαλμοί σου θέλουσι βλέπει και μαραίνεσθαι δι' αυτούς όλην την ημέραν· και δεν θέλει είσθαι δύναμις εν τη χειρί σου.

Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given to another people. And thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day, and there shall be nothing in the power of thy hand.

33 Τον καρπόν της γης σου και πάντας τους κόπους σου θέλει φάγει έθνος το οποίον δεν γνωρίζεις· και θέλεις είσθαι μόνον καταδυναστευόμενος και καταπατούμενος πάσας τας ημέρας.

The fruit of thy ground, and all thy labors, shall a nation eat up which thou know not. And thou shall only be oppressed and crushed always,

34 Και θέλεις γείνει παράφρων διά τα θεάματα των οφθαλμών σου, τα οποία θέλεις ιδεί.

so that thou shall be mad because of the sight of thine eyes which thou shall see.

35 Ο Κύριος θέλει σε πατάξει εις τα γόνατα και εις τα σκέλη με πληγήν κακήν, ώστε να μη δύνασαι να ιατρευθής από του ίχνους των ποδών σου έως της κορυφής σου.

Jehovah will smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore boil, of which thou cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot to the crown of thy head.

36 Ο Κύριος θέλει φέρει σε και τον βασιλέα σου όντινα καταστήσης επί σε, εις έθνος το οποίον δεν εγνώρισας, συ, ουδέ οι πατέρες σου· και εκεί θέλεις λατρεύσει άλλους θεούς, ξύλα και λίθους.

Jehovah will bring thee, and thy king whom thou shall set over thee, to a nation that thou have not known, thou nor thy fathers. And there thou shall serve other gods, wood and stone.

37 Και θέλεις είσθαι εις έκπληξιν, εις παροιμίαν και εις διήγημα μεταξύ πάντων των εθνών, όπου εν σε φέρη ο Κύριος.

And thou shall become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all the peoples where Jehovah shall lead thee away.

38 Σπόρον πολύν θέλεις φέρει εις τον αγρόν, και ολίγον θέλεις συνάξει διότι θέλει καταφάγει αυτόν η ακρίς.

Thou shall carry much seed out into the field, and shall gather little in, for the locust shall consume it.

39 Αμπελώνας θέλεις φυτεύσει και καλλιεργήσει, και οίνον δεν θέλεις πίει ουδέ θέλεις τρυγήσει διότι ο σκώληξ θέλει καταφάγει αυτούς.

Thou shall plant vineyards and dress them, but thou shall neither drink of the wine, nor gather, for the worm shall eat them.

40 Ελαίας θέλεις έχει εις πάντα τα όριά σου, και με έλαιον δεν θέλεις χρισθή· διότι αι ελαίαί σου θέλουσιν αποβάλει τον καρπόν.

Thou shall have olive trees throughout all thy borders, but thou shall not anoint thyself with the oil, for thine olive shall drop off.

41 Υιούς και θυγατέρας θέλεις γεννήσει, και δεν θέλουσιν είσθαι σού· διότι θέλουσιν υπάγει εις αιχμαλωσίαν.

Thou shall beget sons and daughters, but they shall not be thine, for they shall go into captivity.

42 Πάντα τα δένδρα σου και τον καρπόν της γης σου θέλει καταφθείρει ο βρούχος.

All thy trees and the fruit of thy ground shall the locust possess.

43 Ο ξένος, ο εν τω μέσω σου, θέλει αναβαίνει υπεράνω σου, άνω άνω, συ δε θέλεις καταβαίνει κάτω κάτω.

The sojourner who is in the midst of thee shall mount up above thee higher and higher, and thou shall come down lower and lower.

44 Εκείνος θέλει δανείζει εις σε, συ δε δεν θέλεις δανείζει εις αυτόν· αυτός θέλει είσθαι κεφαλή, και συ θέλεις είσθαι ουρά.

He shall lend to thee, and thou shall not lend to him. He shall be the head, and thou shall be the tail.

45 Και θέλουσιν ελθεί επί σε πάσαι αι κατάραι αύται, και θέλουσι σε καταδιώξει και σε ευρεί, εωσού εξολοθρευθής· διότι δεν υπήκουσας εις την φωνήν Κυρίου του Θεού σου, διά να φυλάττης τας εντολάς αυτού και τα διατάγματα αυτού, τα οποία προσέταξεν εις σε.

And all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed, because thou hearkened not to the voice of Jehovah thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee,

46 Και ταύτα θέλουσιν είσθαι επί σε και επί το σπέρμα σου, εις σημείον και τέρας διαπαντός.

and they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed forever.

47 Επειδή δεν ελάτρευσας Κύριον τον Θεόν σου εν ευφροσύνη και εν αγαθότητι καρδίας, διά την αφθονίαν πάντων·

Because thou served not Jehovah thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, by reason of the abundance of all things,

48 διά τούτο θέλεις δουλεύσει τους εχθρούς σου, τους οποίους ο Κύριος θέλει εξαποστείλει επί σε, με πείναν και με δίψαν και με γυμνότητα και με έλλειψιν πάντων· και θέλει βάλει επί τον τράχηλόν σου ζυγόν σιδηρούν, εωσού σε εξολοθρεύση.

therefore thou shall serve thine enemies that Jehovah shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things. And he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he has destroyed thee.

49 Ο Κύριος θέλει φέρει έθνος επί σε μακρόθεν, από άκρου της γης, ως με ορμήν αετού· έθνος, του οποίου την γλώσσαν δεν θέλεις εννοεί·

Jehovah will bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as the eagle flies, a nation whose tongue thou shall not understand,

50 έθνος αγριοπρόσωπον, το οποίον δεν θέλει σεβασθή το πρόσωπον του γέροντος ουδέ θέλει ελεήσει τον νέον·

a nation of fierce countenance, that shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young,

51 και θέλει τρώγει τον καρπόν των κτηνών σου και τα γεννήματα της γης σου, εωσού εξολοθρευθής· το οποίον δεν θέλει αφήσει εις σε σίτον, οίνον ή έλαιον, τας αγέλας των βοών σου ή τα ποίμνια των προβάτων σου, εωσού σε εξολοθρεύση.

and shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy ground, until thou be destroyed, that also shall not leave thee grain, new wine, or oil, the increase of thy cattle, or the young of thy flock, until they have caused thee to perish.

52 Και θέλει σε πολιορκήσει εις πάσας τας πόλεις σου, εωσού πέσωσι τα υψηλά και οχυρά τείχη σου, εις τα οποία συ ήλπιζες, καθ' όλην την γην σου· και θέλει σε πολιορκήσει εις πάσας τας πόλεις σου, καθ' όλην την γην σου την οποίαν έδωκεν εις σε Κύριος ο Θεός σου.

And they shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fortified walls come down, in which thou trusted, throughout all thy land. And they shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which Jehovah thy God has given thee.

53 Και θέλεις φάγει τον καρπόν της κοιλίας σου, τας σάρκας των υιών σου και των θυγατέρων σου, τους οποίους έδωκεν εις σε Κύριος ο Θεός σου, εν τη πολιορκία και εν τη καταθλίψει, με την οποίαν θέλει σε καταθλίψει ο εχθρός σου·

And thou shall eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, whom Jehovah thy God has given thee, in the siege and in the distress with which thine enemies shall distress thee.

54 ο ανήρ ο απαλός μεταξύ σου και ο σφόδρα τρυφερός θέλει εμβλέψει με βλέμμα πονηρόν εις τον αδελφόν αυτού και εις την γυναίκα του κόλπου αυτού και εις τα εναπολειφθέντα τέκνα αυτού όσα εναπολειφθώσιν·

The man who is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his sons whom he has remaining,

55 ώστε να μη δώση εις ουδένα εξ αυτών από των σαρκών των τέκνων αυτού, τα οποία ήθελε τρώγει διότι δεν έμεινεν εις αυτόν ουδέν εν τη πολιορκία και εν τη καταθλίψει, με την οποίαν ο εχθρός σου θέλει σε καταθλίψει εις πάσας τας πόλεις σου.

so that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his sons whom he shall eat, because he has nothing left to him, in the siege and in the distress with which thine enemy shall distress thee in all thy gates.

56 Η απαλή και τρυφερά γυνή μεταξύ σου, της οποίας ο πους δεν εδοκίμασε να πατήση επί της γης διά την τρυφερότητα και απαλότητα, θέλει εμβλέψει με βλέμμα πονηρόν εις τον άνδρα του κόλπου αυτής και εις τον υιόν αυτής και εις την θυγατέρα αυτής,

The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,

57 και εις το βρέφος αυτής το εξελθόν εκ μέσου των ποδών αυτής και εις τα τέκνα, τα οποία εγέννησε· διότι θέλει φάγει αυτά κρυφίως, διά την έλλειψιν πάντων, εν τη πολιορκία και εν τη καταθλίψει, με την οποίαν ο εχθρός σου θέλει σε καταθλίψει εις τας πόλεις σου.

and toward her young one who comes out from between her feet, and toward her sons whom she shall bear, for she shall eat them secretly for want of all things, in the siege and in the distress with which thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.

58 Εάν δεν προσέχης να κάμνης πάντας τους λόγους του νόμου τούτου, τους γεγραμμένους εν τω βιβλίω τούτω, ώστε να φοβήσαι το ένδοξον και φοβερόν τούτο όνομα, ΚΥΡΙΟΝ ΤΟΝ ΘΕΟΝ ΣΟΥ,

If thou will not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou may fear this glorious and fearful name, JEHOVAH THY GOD,

59 τότε ο Κύριος θέλει κάμει τρομεράς τας πληγάς σου και τας πληγάς του σπέρματός σου, πληγάς μεγάλας και απαύστους και νόσους κακάς και απαύστους.

then Jehovah will make thy calamities extraordinary, and the calamities of thy seed, even great calamities and of long continuance, and severe sicknesses and of long continuance.

60 Και θέλει επιφέρει επί σε πάσας τας οδύνας της Αιγύπτου, διά τας οποίας ετρόμαξας· και θέλουσι προσκολληθή εις σέ·

And he will bring upon thee again all the diseases of Egypt, which thou were afraid of, and they shall cling to thee.

61 και πάσαν ασθένειαν και πάσαν πληγήν, ήτις δεν είναι γεγραμμένη εν τω βιβλίω του νόμου τούτου, ταύτας ο Κύριος θέλει φέρει επί σε, εωσού εξολοθρευθής.

Also every sickness, and every calamity, which is not written in the book of this law, them Jehovah will bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

62 Και θέλετε εναπολειφθή ολιγοστοί τον αριθμόν, ενώ ήσθε ως τα άστρα του ουρανού κατά το πλήθος· διότι δεν υπήκουσας εις την φωνήν Κυρίου του Θεού σου.

And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude, because thou did not hearken to the voice of Jehovah thy God.

63 Και καθώς ο Κύριος ευφράνθη εις εσάς εις το να σας αγαθοποιή και να σας πληθύνη, ούτω θέλει ευφρανθή ο Κύριος εις εσάς εις το να σας εξαλείψη και να σας μηδενώση· και θέλετε αρπαχθή από της γης, όπου υπάγετε να κληρονομήσητε αυτήν.

And it shall come to pass, that, as Jehovah rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you, so Jehovah will rejoice over you to cause you to perish, and to destroy you. And ye shall be plucked from off the land where thou go in to possess it.

64 Και θέλει σε διασπείρει ο Κύριος εις πάντα τα έθνη, απ' άκρου της γης έως άκρου της γής· και θέλετε λατρεύσει εκεί άλλους θεούς, τους οποίους δεν εγνώρισας, συ ουδέ οι πατέρες σου, ξύλα και λίθους.

And Jehovah will scatter thee among all peoples, from the one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth. And there thou shall serve other gods, which thou have not known, thou nor thy fathers, even wood and stone.

65 Αλλά και εν τω μέσω των εθνών τούτων δεν θέλεις ευρεί ανάπαυσιν, ουδέ θέλει έχει στάσιν το ίχνος του ποδός σου· αλλά θέλει σοι δώσει ο Κύριος εκεί καρδίαν τρέμουσαν και μαραινομένους οφθαλμούς και τηκομένην ψυχήν.

And among these nations thou shall find no ease, and there shall be no rest for the sole of thy foot, but Jehovah will give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and pining of soul.

66 Και η ζωή σου θέλει είσθαι κρεμαμένη ενώπιόν σου· και θέλεις φοβείσθαι νύκτα και ημέραν, και δεν θέλεις πιστεύει εις την ζωήν σου.

And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee, and thou shall fear night and day, and shall have no assurance of thy life.

67 Το πρωΐ θέλεις ειπεί, Είθε να ήτο εσπέρα και την εσπέραν θέλεις ειπεί, Είθε να ήτο πρωΐ διά τον φόβον της καρδίας σου, τον οποίον θέλεις φοβείσθαι, και διά τα θεάματα των οφθαλμών σου, τα οποία θέλεις βλέπει.

In the morning thou shall say, Would it were evening! and at evening thou shall say, Would it were morning! for the fear of thy heart which thou shall fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shall see.

68 Και θέλει σε επαναφέρει ο Κύριος εις την Αίγυπτον με πλοία, από της οδού περί της οποίας σοι είπα, Δεν θέλεις πλέον ιδεί αυτήν άλλην φοράν· και θέλετε πωλείσθαι εκεί εις τους εχθρούς σας ως δούλοι και δούλαι και δεν θέλει είσθαι ο αγοράζων.

And Jehovah will bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way of which I said to thee, Thou shall see it no more again. And there ye shall sell yourselves to your enemies for bondmen and for bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
