Δευτερονόμιον 16
1 Φύλαττε τον μήνα Αβίβ και κάμνε το πάσχα εις Κύριον τον Θεόν σου· επειδή εις τον μήνα Αβίβ σε εξήγαγε Κύριος ο Θεός σου εξ Αιγύπτου διά νυκτός.
Observe the month of Abib, when thou shalt keep a passover unto Yahweh thy God, —for in the month of Abib, did Yahweh thy God bring thee forth out of Egypt by night:
2 Θέλεις λοιπόν θυσιάζει το πάσχα εις Κύριον τον Θεόν σου, πρόβατον και βουν, εν τω τόπω όντινα εκλέξη ο Κύριος διά να κατοικίση εκεί το όνομα αυτού.
therefore shalt thou sacrifice a passover unto Yahweh thy God of flock or herd, —in the place which Yahweh shall choose to make a habitation for his name there.
3 Δεν θέλεις τρώγει με αυτό ένζυμα· επτά ημέρας θέλεις τρώγει άζυμα με αυτό, άρτον θλίψεως, διότι μετά σπουδής εξήλθες εκ γης Αιγύπτου· διά να ενθυμήσαι την ημέραν της εξόδου σου εκ γης Αιγύπτου, πάσας τας ημέρας της ζωής σου.
Thou shalt not eat therewith any thing leavened, seven days, shalt thou eat therewith unleavened cakes the bread of humiliation, —for in haste, camest thou forth out of the land of Egypt, that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt, all the days of thy life.
4 Και δεν θέλει φανή προζύμιον εις σε, κατά πάντα τα όριά σου, επτά ημέρας· και από του κρέατος, το οποίον εθυσίασας την πρώτην ημέραν προς το εσπέρας, δεν θέλει μείνει ουδέν έως πρωΐ.
And there shall not be seen with thee leaven in any of thy bounds seven days, —neither shall there remain all night of the flesh which thou shalt sacrifice in the evening, on the first day, unto the morning.
5 Δεν δύνασαι να θυσιάσης το πάσχα εν ουδεμιά των πόλεών σου, τας οποίας Κύριος ο Θεός σου δίδει εις σέ·
Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover, —within any of thine own gates which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee;
6 αλλ' εν τω τόπω, όντινα εκλέξη Κύριος ο Θεός σου διά να κατοικίση εκεί το όνομα αυτού, θέλεις θυσιάζει το πάσχα την εσπέραν, προς την δύσιν του ηλίου, εν τω καιρώ καθ' ον εξήλθες εξ Αιγύπτου.
but in the place which Yahweh thy God shall choose to make a habitation for his name, there, shalt thou sacrifice the passover in the evening, —at the going in of the sun, at the very time thou camest forth out of Egypt.
7 Και θέλεις εψήσει αυτό και φάγει εν τω τόπω όντινα εκλέξη Κύριος ο Θεός σου· και το πρωΐ θέλεις επιστρέφει και υπάγει εις τας κατοικίας σου.
Therefore shalt thou cook and eat it in the place which Yahweh thy God, shall choose, —and shalt turn away in the morning, and go thy way unto thy tents.
8 Εξ ημέρας θέλεις τρώγει άζυμα· και την ημέραν την εβδόμην θέλει είσθαι σύναξις επίσημος εις Κύριον τον Θεόν σου· δεν θέλεις κάμει εργασίαν.
Six days, shalt thou eat unleavened cakes, —and, on the seventh day, shall be a closing feast, unto Yahweh thy God, thou shalt do no work.
9 Επτά εβδομάδας θέλεις αριθμήσει εις σεαυτόν· άρχισον να αριθμής τας επτά εβδομάδας, αφού αρχίσης να βάλης το δρέπανον εις τα σπαρτά.
Seven weeks, shalt thou count unto thee, —from the beginning of thrusting in the sickle into the standing corn, shalt thou begin to count, seven weeks.
10 Και θέλεις κάμει την εορτήν των εβδομάδων εις Κύριον τον Θεόν σου, μετά της ανηκούσης αυτοπροαιρέτου προσφοράς της χειρός σου, την οποίαν προσφέρης, όπως σε ευλόγησε Κύριος ο Θεός σου.
So shalt thou keep the festival of weeks unto Yahweh thy God, in the measure of the freewill offering of thy hand which thou shalt give, —as Yahweh thy God shall bless thee.
11 Και θέλεις ευφρανθή ενώπιον Κυρίου του Θεού σου, συ και ο υιός σου και η θυγάτηρ σου και ο δούλός σου και η δούλη σου και ο Λευΐτης ο εντός των πυλών σου και ο ξένος και ο ορφανός και η χήρα, οίτινες είναι εν μέσω σου, εν τω τόπω όντινα εκλέξη Κύριος ο Θεός σου, διά να κατοικίση εκεί το όνομα αυτού.
So shalt thou rejoice before Yahweh thy God—thou, and thy son and thy daughter and thy servant and thy handmaid, and the Levite who is within thy gates, and the sojourner, and the fatherless and the widow who are in thy midst, —in the place which Yahweh thy God shall choose, to make a habitation for his name there.
12 Και θέλεις ενθυμείσθαι ότι δούλος εστάθης εν Αιγύπτω· και θέλεις φυλάττει και εκτελεί ταύτα τα διατάγματα.
So shalt thou remember that a servant, thou wast in Egypt, —and shalt observe and do these statutes.
13 Θέλεις κάμνει την εορτήν της σκηνοπηγίας επτά ημέρας, αφού συνάξης τον σίτόν σου και τον οίνόν σου·
The festival of booths, shalt thou keep for thyself seven days, —when thou hast gathered in out of thy threshing-floor and out of thy wine-vat.
14 και θέλεις ευφρανθή εν τη εορτή σου, συ και ο υιός σου και η θυγάτηρ σου και ο δούλός σου και η δούλη σου και ο Λευΐτης και ο ξένος και ο ορφανός και η χήρα, οίτινες είναι εντός των πυλών σου.
And thou shalt rejoice in thy festival, —thou, and thy son and thy daughter, and thy servant and thy handmaid, and the Levite and the sojourner, and the fatherless and the widow, who are within thy gates.
15 Επτά ημέρας θέλεις εορτάζει εις Κύριον τον Θεόν σου, εν τω τόπω όντινα εκλέξη ο Κύριος· διότι Κύριος ο Θεός σου θέλει σε ευλογεί εις πάντα τα γεννήματά σου και εις πάντα τα έργα των χειρών σου· και θέλεις εξάπαντος ευφρανθή.
Seven days, shalt thou keep festival unto Yahweh thy God, in the place which Yahweh shall choose, —for Yahweh thy God, will bless thee, in all thine increase and in all the work of thy hands, —therefore shalt thou do nothing but, rejoice.
16 Τρίς του ενιαυτού θέλει εμφανίζεσθαι παν αρσενικόν σου ενώπιον Κυρίου του Θεού σου, εν τω τόπω όντινα εκλέξη· εν τη εορτή των αζύμων, και εν τη εορτή των εβδομάδων, και εν τη εορτή της σκηνοπηγίας· και δεν θέλουσιν εμφανίζεσθαι ενώπιον του Κυρίου κενοί.
Three times in the year, shall each one of thy males see the face of Yahweh thy God, in the place which he shall choose, at the festival of unleavened cakes and at the festival of weeks and at the festival of booths, —and none shall see the face of Yahweh empty-handed:
17 Έκαστος θέλει δίδει κατά την δύναμιν αυτού, κατά την ευλογίαν Κυρίου του Θεού σου, την οποίαν σοι έδωκε.
every man according as his hand can give, —according to the blessing of Yahweh thy God, which he hath bestowed upon thee.
18 Κριτάς και άρχοντας θέλεις καταστήσει εις σεαυτόν κατά πάσας τας πόλεις σου, τας οποίας Κύριος ο Θεός σου δίδει εις σε κατά τας φυλάς σου· και θέλουσι κρίνει τον λαόν εν κρίσει δικαία.
Judges and officers, shalt thou appoint thee in all thy gates, which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee, by thy tribes, —and they shall judge the people, with righteous judgment,
19 Δεν θέλεις διαστρέψει κρίσιν· δεν θέλεις αποβλέπει εις πρόσωπον ουδέ θέλεις λαμβάνει δώρον· διότι το δώρον τυφλόνει τους οφθαλμούς των σοφών και διαφθείρει τους λόγους των δικαίων.
Thou shalt not wrest judgment, thou shalt not take note of faces, —nor shalt thou accept a bribe, for the bribe, blindeth the eyes of wise men, and perverteth the words of righteous men.
20 Το δίκαιον, το δίκαιον θέλεις ακολουθεί· διά να ζήσης και να κληρονομήσης την γην, την οποίαν Κύριος ο Θεός σου δίδει εις σε.
What is right, what is right, shalt thou pursue, —that thou mayest live and possess the land, which, Yahweh thy God, is giving unto thee.
21 Δεν θέλεις φυτεύσει εις σεαυτόν άλσος οποιωνδήποτε δένδρων πλησίον του θυσιαστηρίου Κυρίου του Θεού σου, το οποίον θέλεις κάμει εις σεαυτόν·
Thou shalt not plant thee, as a sacred stem, any tree, —near unto the altar of Yahweh thy God which thou shalt make for thyself;
22 ουδέ θέλεις στήσει εις σεαυτόν άγαλμα· τα οποία μισεί Κύριος ο Θεός σου.
neither shalt thou set thee up a pillar, —which Yahweh thy God, doth hate.
