Παραλειπομένων Βʹ 3
1 Και ήρχισεν ο Σολομών να οικοδομή τον οίκον του Κυρίου εν Ιερουσαλήμ εν τω όρει Μοριά, όπου εφάνη ο Κύριος εις τον Δαβίδ τον πατέρα αυτού, εν τω τόπω τον οποίον ητοίμασεν ο Δαβίδ εν τω αλωνίω Ορνάν του Ιεβουσαίου.
And Solomon begins to build the house of YHWH in Jerusalem, on the mount of Moriah where He appeared to his father David, in the place that David had prepared, in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite,
2 Και ήρχισε να οικοδομή τη δευτέρα του δευτέρου μηνός, εν τω τετάρτω έτει της βασιλείας αυτού.
and he begins to build in the second [day], in the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3 Τούτο δε ήτο το σχέδιον του Σολομώντος διά να οικοδομήση τον οίκον του Θεού· το μήκος εις πήχας, κατά το πρώτον μέτρον, ήτο εξήκοντα πηχών, και το πλάτος είκοσι πηχών,
And [in] these Solomon has been instructed to build the house of God: the length [in] cubits by the former measure [is] sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
4 Και το πρόναον, το κατά πρόσωπον του οίκου, είχε μήκος κατά το πλάτος του οίκου είκοσι πηχών, και ύψος εκατόν είκοσι· και εσκέπασεν αυτό έσωθεν με χρυσίον καθαρόν.
As for the porch that [is] on the front, the length [is] by the front of the breadth of the house—twenty cubits, and the height one hundred and twenty [[or twenty]], and he overlays it within with pure gold.
5 Και εστέγασε τον οίκον τον μέγαν με ξύλα πεύκινα, τα οποία και εσκέπασε με χρυσόν καθαρόν, και ενέγλυψεν επ' αυτόν φοίνικας και αλύσεις.
And he has covered the large house with fir-trees, and he covers it with fine gold, and causes palms and chains to ascend on it,
6 Και εκόσμησε τον οίκον με λίθους τιμίους διά ώραιότητα· το δε χρυσίον ήτο χρυσίον Φαρουΐμ.
and he overlays the house with precious stone for beauty, and the gold [is] gold of Parvaim,
7 Εσκέπασεν έτι με χρυσίον τον οίκον, τας δοκούς, τους παραστάτας και τους τοίχους αυτού και τας θύρας αυτού· και ενέγλυψε χερουβείμ επί των τοίχων.
and he covers the house, the beams, the thresholds, and its walls, and its doors, with gold, and has engraved cherubim on the walls.
8 Και έκαμε τον οίκον του αγίου των αγίων, το μήκος αυτού κατά το πλάτος του οίκου, είκοσι πηχών, και το πλάτος αυτού είκοσι πηχών· και εσκέπασεν αυτόν με χρυσίον καθαρόν εξακοσίων ταλάντων.
And he makes the most holy house: its length by the front of the breadth of the house—twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits, and he covers it with six hundred talents of fine gold;
9 το βάρος δε των καρφίων ήτο πεντήκοντα σίκλοι χρυσίου. Και εσκέπασε τα υπερώα με χρυσίον.
and the weight of the nails [is] fifty shekels of gold, and he has covered the upper chambers with gold.
10 Και εν τω οίκω του αγίου των αγίων έκαμε δύο χερουβείμ εργασίας γλυπτής και εσκέπασεν αυτά με χρυσίον.
And he makes two cherubim in the most holy house, image work, and he overlays them with gold;
11 Και αι πτέρυγες των χερουβείμ είχον μήκος είκοσι πηχών· η μία πτέρυξ πέντε πηχών, εγγίζουσα τον τοίχον του οίκου· και η άλλη πτέρυξ πέντε πηχών, εγγίζουσα την πτέρυγα του άλλου χερούβ.
as for the wings of the cherubim, their length [is] twenty cubits, the wing of the one [is] five cubits, touching the wall of the house, and the other wing [is] five cubits, touching the wing of the other cherub.
12 Και η μία πτέρυξ του άλλου χερούβ πέντε πηχών, εγγίζουσα τον τοίχον του οίκου· και η άλλη πτέρυξ πέντε πηχών, απτομένη της πτέρυγος του άλλου χερούβ.
And the wing of the other cherub [is] five cubits touching the wall of the house, and the other wing [is] five cubits, adhering to the wing of the other cherub.
13 Αι πτέρυγες των χερουβείμ τούτων εξηπλούντο είκοσι πήχας· και αυτά ίσταντο επί τους πόδας αυτών, τα δε πρόσωπα αυτών έβλεπον προς τον οίκον.
The wings of these cherubim are spreading forth twenty cubits, and they are standing on their feet and their faces [are] inward.
14 Και έκαμε το καταπέτασμα εκ κυανού και πορφύρας και κοκκίνου και βύσσου, και ύφανεν επ' αυτού χερουβείμ.
And he makes the veil of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and causes cherubim to go up on it.
15 Έκαμεν έτι έμπροσθεν του οίκου δύο στύλους τριάκοντα πέντε πηχών το μήκος, και το επίθεμα το επί της κεφαλής εκάστου, πέντε πηχών.
And he makes two pillars at the front of the house, thirty-five cubits in length, and the ornament that [is] on their heads [is] five cubits.
16 Και έκαμεν αλύσεις εν τω χρηστηρίω, και έβαλεν αυτάς επί των κεφαλών των στύλων· και έκαμεν εκατόν ρόδια και έβαλεν αυτά επί των αλύσεων.
And he makes chains in the oracle, and puts [them] on the heads of the pillars, and makes one hundred pomegranates, and puts [them] on the chains.
17 Και έστησε τους στύλους κατά πρόσωπον του ναού, ένα εκ δεξιών και ένα εξ αριστερών· και εκάλεσε το όνομα του εκ δεξιών Ιαχείν και το όνομα του εξ αριστερών Βοάς.
And he raises up the pillars on the front of the temple, one on the right and one on the left, and calls the name of that on the right Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
