Βασιλειῶν Γʹ 4
1 Ο δε βασιλεύς Σολομών εβασίλευεν επί πάντα τον Ισραήλ.
And King Salomon was King ouer all Israel.
2 Και ούτοι ήσαν οι άρχοντες, τους οποίους είχεν· Αζαρίας, ο υιός του Σαδώκ, αυλάρχης·
And these were his princes, Azariah the sonne of Zadok the Priest,
3 Ελιορέφ και Αχιά, οι υιοί του Σεισά, γραμματείς· Ιωσαφάτ, ο υιός του Αχιούδ, υπομνηματογράφος·
Elihoreph and Ahiah the sonnes of Shisha scribes, Iehoshaphat the sonne of Ahilud, the recorder,
4 και Βεναΐας, ο υιός του Ιωδαέ, επί του στρατεύματος· και Σαδώκ και Αβιάθαρ, ιερείς·
And Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada was ouer the hoste, and Zadok and Abiathar Priests,
5 και Αζαρίας, ο υιός του Νάθαν, επί τους σιτάρχας· και Ζαβούδ, υιός του Νάθαν, πρώτος αξιωματικός, φίλος του βασιλέως·
And Azariah the sonne of Nathan was ouer the officers, and Zabud the sonne of Nathan Priest was the Kings friend,
6 και Αχισάρ, οικονόμος· και Αδωνιράμ, ο υιός του Αβδά, επί των φόρων.
And Ahishar was ouer the houshold: and Adoniram the sonne of Abda was ouer the tribute.
7 είχε δε ο Σολομών δώδεκα σιτάρχας επί πάντα τον Ισραήλ, και προέβλεπον τας τροφάς εις τον βασιλέα και εις τον οίκον αυτού· ενός μηνός πρόβλεψιν έκαμνεν έκαστος τον χρόνον.
And Salomon had twelue officers ouer all Israel, which prouided vitailes for the King and his housholde: eche man had a moneth in the yeere to prouide vitailes.
8 Και ταύτα είναι τα ονόματα αυτών· ο υιός του Ουρ σιτάρχης εν τω όρει Εφραΐμ·
And these are their names: the sonne of Hur in mount Ephraim:
9 ο υιός του Δεκέρ, εν Μακάς και εν Σααλβίμ και Βαιθ-σεμές και Αιλών της Βαιθ-ανάν·
The sonne of Dekar in Makaz, and in Shaalbim and Beth-shemesh, and Elon and Beth-hanan:
10 ο υιός του Έσεδ, εν Αρουβώθ· υπό τούτον ήτο Σωχώ και πάσα γη Εφέρ·
The sonne of Hesed in Aruboth, to whom perteined Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher:
11 ο υιός του Αβιναάβ, εν πάση τη Νάφαθ-δώρ· ούτος είχε γυναίκα Ταφάθ, την θυγατέρα του Σολομώντος·
The sonne of Abinadab in all the region of Dor, which had Taphath the daughter of Salomon to wife.
12 Βαανά, ο υιός του Αχιλούδ, εν Θαανάχ και Μεγιδδώ και πάση τη αιθ-σαν, ήτις είναι πλησίον της Σαρθανά υπό την Ιεζραέλ, από Βαιθ-σαν έως Αβέλ-μεολά, έως επέκεινα Ιοκμεάμ·
Baana the sonne of Ahilud in Taanach, and Megiddo, and in all Beth-shean, which is by Zartanah beneath Izreel, from Beth-shean to Abelmeholah, eue til beyond ouer against Iokmeam:
13 ο υιός του Γεβέρ, εν Ραμώθ-γαλαάδ· ούτος είχε τας κώμας του Ιαείρ, υιού Μανασσή, τας εν Γαλαάδ· ούτος είχε και την επαρχίαν Αργόβ, την εν Βασάν, εξήκοντα πόλεις μεγάλας με τείχη και χαλκίνους μοχλούς·
The sonne of Geber in Ramoth Gilead, and his were the townes of Iair, the sonne of Manasseh, which are in Gilead, and vnder him was the region of Argob, which is in Bashan: threescore great cities with walles and barres of brasse.
14 Αχιναδάβ, ο υιός του Ιδδώ, εν Μαχαναΐμ·
Ahinadab the sonne of Iddo had to Mahanaim:
15 Αχιμάας, εν Νεφθαλί· και ούτος έλαβε διά γυναίκα Βασεμάθ, την θυγατέρα του Σολομώντος·
Ahimaaz in Naphtali, and he tooke Basmath the daughter of Salomon to wife:
16 Βαανά, ο υιός του Χουσαΐ, εν Ασιήρ και εν Αλώθ·
Baanah the sonne of Hushai in Asher and in Aloth:
17 Ιωσαφάτ, ο υιός του Φαρούα, εν Ισσάχαρ·
Iehoshaphat the sonne of Paruah in Issachar.
18 Σιμεΐ, ο υιός του Ηλά, εν Βενιαμίν·
Shimei the sonne of Elah in Beniamin:
19 Γεβέρ, ο υιός του Ουρεί, εν γη Γαλαάδ, τη γη του Σηών βασιλέως των Αμορραίων και του Ωγ βασιλέως της Βασάν· και ήτο ο μόνος σιτάρχης εν ταύτη τη γη.
Geber the sonne of Vri in the countrey of Gilead, the land of Sihon King of the Amorites, and of Og King of Bashan, and was officer alone in the land.
20 Ο Ιούδας και ο Ισραήλ ήσαν πολυάριθμοι ως η άμμος η παρά την θάλασσαν κατά το πλήθος, τρώγοντες και πίνοντες και ευθυμούντες.
Iudah and Israel were many, as the sand of the sea in number, eating, drinking, and making merry.
21 Και εξουσίαζεν ο Σολομών επί πάντα τα βασίλεια, από του ποταμού έως της γης των Φιλισταίων, και έως των ορίων της Αιγύπτου· και έφερον δώρα και ήσαν δούλοι εις τον Σολομώντα καθ' όλας τας ημέρας της ζωής αυτού.
And Salomon reigned ouer all kingdomes, from the Riuer vnto the lande of the Philistims, and vnto the border of Egypt, and they brought presents, and serued Salomon all the dayes of his life.
22 Η δε τροφή του Σολομώντος διά μίαν ημέραν ήτο τριάκοντα κόροι σεμιδάλεως και εξήκοντα κόροι αλεύρου,
And Salomons vitailes for one day were thirtie measures of fine floure, and threescore measures of meale:
23 δέκα βόες σιτευτοί και είκοσι βόες νομαδικοί και εκατόν πρόβατα, εκτός ελάφων και αγρίων αιγών και δορκάδων και πτηνών θρεπτών.
Ten fat oxen, and twentie oxen of the pastures, and an hundreth sheepe, beside hartes, and buckes, and bugles, and fat foule.
24 Διότι εξουσίαζεν επί πάσαν την γην εντεύθεν του ποταμού, από Θαψά έως Γάζης, επί πάντας τους βασιλείς εντεύθεν του ποταμού· και είχεν ειρήνην πανταχόθεν κύκλω αυτού.
For he ruled in all the region on the other side of the Riuer, from Tiphsah euen vnto Azzah, ouer all the Kings on the other side the Riuer: and he had peace round about him on euery side.
25 Κατώκει δε ο Ιούδας και ο Ισραήλ εν ασφαλεία, έκαστος υπό την άμπελον αυτού και υπό την συκήν αυτού, από Δαν έως Βηρ-σαβεέ, πάσας τας ημέρας του Σολομώντος.
And Iudah and Israel dwelt without feare, euery man vnder his vine, and vnder his fig tree, from Dan, euen to Beer-sheba, all the dayes of Salomon.
26 Και είχεν ο Σολομών τεσσαράκοντα χιλιάδας σταύλους ίππων διά τας αμάξας αυτού και δώδεκα χιλιάδας ιππείς.
And Salomon had fourtie thousande stalles of horses for his charets, and twelue thousand horsemen.
27 Και οι σιτάρχαι εκείνοι προεμήθευον τροφάς διά τον βασιλέα Σολομώντα και διά πάντας τους προσερχομένους εις την τράπεζαν του βασιλέως Σολομώντος, έκαστος εις τον μήνα αυτού· δεν άφινον να γίνηται ουδεμία έλλειψις.
And these officers prouided vitaile for king Salomon, and for all that came to King Salomons table, euery man his moneth, and they suffred to lacke nothing.
28 Έφερον έτι κριθάς και άχυρον διά τους ίππους και τας ημιόνους, εις τον τόπον όπου ήσαν, έκαστος κατά το διωρισμένον εις αυτόν.
Barley also and strawe for the horses and mules brought they vnto the place where the officers were, euery man according to his charge.
29 Και έδωκεν ο Θεός εις τον Σολομώντα σοφίαν και φρόνησιν πολλήν σφόδρα και έκτασιν πνεύματος, ως η άμμος η παρά το χείλος της θαλάσσης.
And God gaue Salomon wisdome and vnderstanding exceeding much, and a large heart, euen as the sand that is on the sea shore,
30 Και υπερέβη η σοφία του Σολομώντος την σοφίαν πάντων των κατοίκων της ανατολής και πάσαν την σοφίαν της Αιγύπτου·
And Salomons wisdome excelled the wisedome of all the children of the East and all the wisedome of Egypt.
31 διότι ήτο σοφώτερος παρά πάντας τους ανθρώπους, παρά τον Εθάν τον Εζραΐτην και τον Αιμάν και τον Χαλκόλ και τον Δαρδά, τους υιούς του Μαώλ· και η φήμη αυτού ήτο εις πάντα τα έθνη κύκλω.
For he was wiser then any man: yea, then were Ethan the Ezrahite, the Heman, then Chalcol, then Darda the sonnes of Mahol: and he was famous throughout all nations round about.
32 Και ελάλησε τρισχιλίας παροιμίας· και αι ωδαί αυτού ήσαν χίλιαι και πέντε.
And Salomon spake three thousand prouerbs: and his songs were a thousand and fiue.
33 Και ελάλησε περί δένδρων, από της κέδρου της εν τω Λιβάνω, μέχρι της υσσώπου της εκφυομένης επί του τοίχου· ελάλησεν έτι περί τετραπόδων και περί πτηνών και περί ερπετών και περί ιχθύων.
And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon, euen vnto the hyssope that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of foules, and of creeping thinges, and of fishes.
34 Και ήρχοντο εκ πάντων των λαών διά να ακούσωσι την σοφίαν του Σολομώντος, παρά πάντων των βασιλέων της γης, όσοι ήκουον την σοφίαν αυτού.
And there came of all people to heare the wisedome of Salomon, from all Kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisedome.
