Προς Κορινθιους Α΄ 16
1 Περί δε της συνεισφοράς της υπέρ των αγίων, καθώς διέταξα εις τας εκκλησίας της Γαλατίας, ούτω κάμετε και σεις.
And as to the collection for the saints, as I directed the churches of the Galatians, so do ye.
2 Κατά την πρώτην της εβδομάδος έκαστος υμών ας εναποθέτη παρ' εαυτώ θησαυρίζων ό, τι αν ευπορή, ώστε όταν έλθω να μη συνάγωνται τότε συνεισφοραί.
On each first day of the week, let every one of you lay aside and preserve at home, what he is able; that there may be no collections when I come.
3 Και όταν έλθω, οποίους εγκρίνητε, δι' επιστολών τούτους θέλω πέμψει διά να φέρωσι την δωρεάν σας εις Ιερουσαλήμ·
And when I come, those whom ye shall select, I will send with a letter, to carry your bounty to Jerusalem.
4 και εάν ήναι άξιον να υπάγω και εγώ, θέλουσιν ελθεί μετ' εμού.
And if it should be suitable that I also go, they shall go with me.
5 Θέλω δε ελθεί προς εσάς, αφού διέλθω την Μακεδονίαν· διότι την Μακεδονίαν διέρχομαι·
And I will come to you, when I pass from Macedonia; for I am about to pass through Macedonia.
6 και ίσως θέλω παραμείνει πλησίον σας, ή και παραχειμάσει, διά να με προπέμψητε σεις όπου αν υπάγω.
And perhaps I shall remain with you, or winter with you; that ye may accompany me whither I go.
7 Διότι δεν θέλω να σας ίδω τώρα εν παρόδω, αλλ' ελπίζω να μείνω πλησίον σας καιρόν τινά, εάν ο Κύριος συγχωρήση τούτο.
For I am not disposed to see you now, as I pass along; because I hope to spend some time with you, if my Lord permit me.
8 Θέλω δε μείνει εν Εφέσω έως της πεντηκοστής·
For I shall continue at Ephesus until Pentecost:
9 διότι ηνοίχθη εις εμέ θύρα μεγάλη και ενεργητική, και είναι πολλοί εναντίοι.
because a great door is opened to me, which is full of occupations; and the opposers are numerous.
10 Και εάν έλθη ο Τιμόθεος, προσέχετε να ήναι άφοβος μεταξύ σας· διότι το έργον του Κυρίου εργάζεται καθώς και εγώ·
And if Timothy come to you, see that he may be without fear among you; for he doeth the work of the Lord, as I do.
11 μηδείς λοιπόν ας μη εξουθενήση αυτόν. Προπέμψατε δε αυτόν εν ειρήνη, διά να έλθη προς εμέ· διότι προσμένω αυτόν μετά των αδελφών.
Therefore, let no one despise him; but conduct him on in peace, that he may come to me; for I wait for him with the brethren.
12 Περί δε του αδελφού Απολλώ, παρεκάλεσα αυτόν πολλά να έλθη προς εσάς μετά των αδελφών· και δεν ήθελε παντάπασι να έλθη τώρα, θέλει όμως ελθεί όταν ευκαιρήση.
As for Apollos, my brethren, I entreated him much to go with the brethren to you; but his inclination was not to go to you now; but when he shall have opportunity, he will go to you.
13 Αγρυπνείτε, στέκεσθε εν τη πίστει, ανδρίζεσθε, ενδυναμούσθε.
Watch ye, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be valiant.
14 Πάντα τα έργα υμών ας γίνωνται εν αγάπη.
Let all your affairs be conducted with love.
15 Σας παρακαλώ δε, αδελφοί· εξεύρετε την οικίαν του Στεφανά, ότι είναι απαρχή της Αχαΐας και αφιέρωσαν εαυτούς εις την διακονίαν των αγίων·
I beseech you, my brethren, concerning the household of Stephanas; (for ye know, that they were the first-fruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to ministering to the saints; )
16 να υποτάσσησθε και σεις εις τους τοιούτους και εις πάντα τον συνεργούντα και κοπιώντα.
that ye also give ear to them who are such; and to every one, that laboreth with us and aideth.
17 Χαίρω δε διά την έλευσιν του Στεφανά και Φουρτουνάτου και Αχαϊκού, διότι την έλλειψίν σας ούτοι ανεπλήρωσαν·
And I rejoice at the arrival of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for they have supplied that wherein ye were deficient towards me.
18 επειδή ανέπαυσαν το ιδικόν μου πνεύμα και το ιδικόν σας. Τιμάτε λοιπόν τους τοιούτους.
And they have refreshed my spirit, and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them who are such.
19 Σας ασπάζονται αι εκκλησίαι της Ασίας. Σας ασπάζονται πολλά εν Κυρίω ο Ακύλας και η Πρίσκιλλα μετά της κατ' οίκον αυτών εκκλησίας.
All the churches that are in Asia, salute you. Aquila and Priscilla, with the church in their house, salute you much in the Lord.
20 Σας ασπάζονται οι αδελφοί πάντες. Ασπάσθητε αλλήλους εν φιλήματι αγίω.
All the brethren salute you. Salute ye one another with a holy kiss.
21 Ο ασπασμός εγράφη με την χείρα εμού του Παύλου.
The salutation in the handwriting of myself, Paul.
22 Όστις δεν αγαπά τον Κύριον Ιησούν Χριστόν, ας ήναι ανάθεμα. Μαράν αθά.
Whoever loveth not our Lord Jesus the Messiah, let him be accursed: our Lord cometh.
23 Η χάρις του Κυρίου Ιησού Χριστού είη μεθ' υμών.
The grace of our Lord Jesus the Messiah be with you.
24 Η αγάπη μου μετά πάντων υμών εν Χριστώ Ιησού· αμήν.
And my love be with you all, in the Messiah, Jesus. Amen.
