1 Και αύται ήσαν αι διαιρέσεις των υιών του Ααρών· οι υιοί του Ααρών, Ναδάβ και Αβιούδ, Ελεάζαρ και Ιθάμαρ.
Now, the sons of Aaron, had their courses, —the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar;
2 Και απέθανον ο Ναδάβ και ο Αβιούδ έμπροσθεν του πατρός αυτών, και δεν είχον υιούς· όθεν ιεράτευσαν ο Ελεάζαρ και ο Ιθάμαρ.
but Nadab and Abihu, died, before their father, and sons, had they none, —but Eleazar and Ithamar became priests;
3 Και διήρεσεν αυτούς ο Δαβίδ, τον τε Σαδώκ εκ των υιών Ελεάζαρ, και τον Αχιμέλεχ εκ των υιών του Ιθάμαρ, κατά τα χρέη αυτών εις την υπηρεσίαν αυτών.
and David apportioned to them courses, both to Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and to Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, —by their appointed place in their service.
4 Ευρέθησαν δε πλειότεροι αρχηγοί εκ των υιών Ελεάζαρ, παρά εκ των υιών Ιθάμαρ· και διηρέθησαν ούτω· εκ των υιών Ελεάζαρ ήσαν δεκαέξ αρχηγοί οίκου πατέρων· και εκ των υιών Ιθάμαρ οκτώ αρχηγοί του οίκου των πατέρων αυτών.
But the sons of Eleazar were found to be more numerous, by the chiefs of their able men, than were the sons of Ithamar, so they divided them, —the sons of Eleazar, had chiefs, of the ancestral house, sixteen, whereas, the sons of Ithamar, had of their ancestral house, eight.
5 Διήρεσαν δε αυτούς διά κλήρων, τούτους προς εκείνους· διότι διευθυνταί του αγιαστηρίου και διευθυνταί του οίκου του Θεού ήσαν εκ των υιών Ελεάζαρ και εκ των υιών Ιθάμαρ.
They divided them, therefore, by [casting] lots, these with those, —for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, from among the sons of Eleazar, and among the sons of Ithamar.
6 Και κατέγραψεν αυτούς Σεμαΐας ο υιός του Ναθαναήλ ο γραμματεύς, ο εκ των Λευϊτών, έμπροσθεν του βασιλέως και των αρχόντων και Σαδώκ του ιερέως και Αχιμέλεχ υιού του Αβιάθαρ και έμπροσθεν των αρχηγών των πατριών των ιερέων και Λευϊτών, λαμβανομένης μιας πατριάς εκ του Ελεάζαρ και μιας εκ του Ιθάμαρ.
And Shemaiah son of Nethanel the scribe from among the Levites, wrote them down, before the king and the rulers and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, —one ancestral house, was taken for Eleazar, and, was equally taken, for Ithamar.
7 Ο πρώτος δε κλήρος εξήλθεν εις τον Ιωϊαρείβ, ο δεύτερος εις τον Ιεδαΐαν,
So then the first lot came forth for Jehoiarib, for Jedaiah, the second;
8 ο τρίτος εις τον Χαρήμ, ο τέταρτος εις τον Σεωρήμ,
for Harim, the third, for Seorim, the fourth;
9 ο πέμπτος εις τον Μαλχίαν, ο έκτος εις τον Μεϊαμείν,
for Malchijah, the fifth, for Mijamin, the sixth;
10 ο έβδομος εις τον Ακκώς, ο όγδοος εις τον Αβιά,
for Hakkoz, the seventh, for Abijah, the eighth;
11 ο ένατος εις τον Ιησούν, ο δέκατος εις τον Σεχανίαν,
for Jeshua, the ninth, for Shecaniah, the tenth;
12 ο ενδέκατος εις τον Ελιασείβ, ο δωδέκατος εις τον Ιακείμ,
for Eliashib, the eleventh, for Jakim, the twelfth;
13 ο δέκατος τρίτος εις τον Ουφφά, ο δέκατος τέταρτος εις τον Ιεσεβάβ,
for Huppah, the thirteenth, for Jeshebeab, the fourteenth;
14 ο δέκατος πέμπτος εις τον Βιλγά, ο δέκατος έκτος εις τον Ιμμήρ,
for Bilgah, the fifteenth, for Immer, the sixteenth;
15 ο δέκατος έβδομος εις τον Εζείρ, ο δέκατος όγδοος εις τον Αφισής,
for Hezir, the seventeenth, for Happizzez, the eighteenth;
16 ο δέκατος ένατος εις τον Πεθαΐα, ο εικοστός εις τον Ιεζεκιήλ,
for Pethahiah, the nineteenth, for Jehezkel, the twentieth;
17 ο εικοστός πρώτος εις τον Ιαχείν, ο εικοστός δεύτερος εις τον Γαμούλ,
for Jachin, the twenty-first, for Gamul, the twenty-second;
18 ο εικοστός τρίτος εις τον Δελαΐαν, ο εικοστός τέταρτος εις τον Μααζίαν.
for Delaiah, the twenty-third, for Maaziah, the twenty-fourth.
19 Αύται ήσαν αι διατάξεις αυτών εις την υπηρεσίαν αυτών, διά να εισέρχωνται εις τον οίκον του Κυρίου κατά το διατεταγμένον εις αυτούς διά χειρός Ααρών του πατρός αυτών, ως προσέταξεν εις αυτόν Κύριος ο Θεός του Ισραήλ.
These, were their appointed places for their service, for entering the house of Yahweh, according to the regulation of them, by the hand of Aaron their father, —just as Yahweh God of Israel, commanded him.
20 Περί δε των επιλοίπων υιών Λευΐ· εκ των υιών Αμράμ ήτο ο Σουβαήλ, εκ των υιών Σουβαήλ ο Ιεδαΐας.
Now, as for the sons of Levi who remained, of the sons of Amram, Shubael, of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
21 Περί του Ρεαβιά· εκ των υιών Ρεαβιά ο πρώτος ήτο ο Ιεσία.
Of Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah, the chief Isshiah;
22 Εκ των Ισααριτών ο Σελωμώθ· εκ των υιών Σελωμώθ ο Ιαάθ.
of the Izharites, Shelomoth, —of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath;
23 Οι δε υιοί Χεβρών ήσαν Ιεριάς ο πρώτος, Αμαρίας ο δεύτερος, Ιααζιήλ ο τρίτος, Ιεκαμεάμ ο τέταρτος.
and, the sons [of Hebron], Jeriah, —Amariah, the second, Jehaziel, the third, Jekameam, the fourth;
24 Εκ των υιών Οζιήλ Μιχά· εκ των υιών του Μιχά Σαμίρ.
the sons of Uzziel, Micah, of the sons of Micah, Shamir;
25 Ο αδελφός του Μιχά ήτο ο Ιεσία· εκ των υιών Ιεσία ο Ζαχαρίας.
the brother of Micah, Isshiah, of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.
26 Οι υιοί του Μεραρί ήσαν Μααλί και Μουσί· οι υιοί του Ιααζία, Βενώ.
The sons of Merari, Mahli and Mushi, —the sons of Jaaziah, Beno;
27 Οι υιοί του Μεραρί διά του Ιααζία, Βενώ και Σωάμ και Ζακχούρ και Ιβρί.
the sons of Merari, of Jaaziah, Beno, and Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri:
28 Εκ του Μααλί ήτο ο Ελεάζαρ, όστις δεν είχεν υιούς.
of Mahli, Eleazar, who had no sons;
29 Περί δε του Κείς· οι υιοί του Κείς, ο Ιεραμεήλ.
of Kish—the sons of Kish, Jerameel;
30 Και οι υιοί του Μουσί, Μααλί και Εδέρ και Ιεριμώθ. Ούτοι ήσαν οι υιοί των Λευϊτών, κατά τους οίκους των πατριών αυτών.
and, the sons of Mushi, Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth. These, were the sons of the Levites, belonging to their ancestral house.
31 Έρριψαν και ούτοι κλήρους, καθώς οι αδελφοί αυτών οι υιοί του Ααρών, έμπροσθεν του βασιλέως Δαβίδ και του Σαδώκ και του Αχιμέλεχ και των αρχηγών των πατριών των ιερέων και Λευϊτών, εξισουμένων των πρώτων πατριών μετά των αδελφών αυτών των νεωτέρων.
Moreover, they also, cast lots along with their brethren the sons of Aaron, before David the king and Zadok and Ahimelech, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, the ancestral chief along with his younger brethren.
