1 Ούτοι είναι οι υιοί του Ισραήλ· Ρουβήν, Συμεών, Λευΐ και Ιούδας, Ισσάχαρ και Ζαβουλών,

These [are] the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,

2 Δαν, Ιωσήφ και Βενιαμίν, Νεφθαλί, Γαδ, και Ασήρ.

Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3 Υιοί του Ιούδα, Ηρ και Αυνάν και Σηλά· τρεις εγεννήθησαν εις αυτόν εκ της θυγατρός του Σουά της Χαναανίτιδος. Ήτο δε ο Ηρ, ο πρωτότοκος του Ιούδα, πονηρός ενώπιον του Κυρίου· και εθανάτωσεν αυτόν.

The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: [which] three were born to him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the first-born of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD; and he slew him.

4 Και Θάμαρ, η νύμφη αυτού, εγέννησεν εις αυτόν τον Φαρές και τον Ζαρά. Πάντες οι υιοί του Ιούδα ήσαν πέντε.

And Tamar his daughter-in-law bore him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah [were] five.

5 Υιοί του Φαρές, Εσρών και Αμούλ.

The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.

6 Και υιοί του Ζαρά, Ζιμβρί και Εθάν και Αιμάν και Χαλχόλ και Δαρά· πάντες πέντε.

And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.

7 Και υιοί του Χαρμί, Αχάρ, ο ταράξας τον Ισραήλ, όστις έκαμε παράβασιν εις το ανάθεμα.

And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.

8 Και υιοί του Εθάν, Αζαρίας.

And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.

9 Υιοί δε του Εσρών, οι γεννηθέντες εις αυτόν, Ιεραμεήλ και Αράμ και Χάλεβ.

The sons also of Hezron, that were born to him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.

10 Και Αράμ εγέννησε τον Αμμιναδάβ, και Αμμιναδάβ εγέννησε τον Ναασσών, τον άρχοντα των υιών Ιούδα.

And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;

11 Και Ναασσών εγέννησε τον Σαλμά, και Σαλμά εγέννησε τον Βοόζ,

And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,

12 και Βοόζ εγέννησε τον Ωβήδ, και Ωβήδ εγέννησε τον Ιεσσαί·

And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,

13 και Ιεσσαί εγέννησεν Ελιάβ τον πρωτότοκον αυτού και Αβιναδάβ τον δεύτερον και Σαμμά τον τρίτον,

And Jesse begat his first-born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,

14 Ναθαναήλ τον τέταρτον, Ραδδαί τον πέμπτον,

Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

15 Οσέμ τον έκτον, Δαβίδ τον έβδομον.

Ozem the sixth, David the seventh:

16 Και αδελφαί αυτών ήσαν Σερουΐα και Αβιγαία. Και υιοί της Σερουΐας, Αβισαί και Ιωάβ και Ασαήλ, τρεις.

Whose sisters [were] Zeruiah, and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.

17 Η δε Αβιγαία εγέννησε τον Αμασά· και πατήρ του Αμασά ήτο Ιεθέρ ο Ισμαηλίτης.

And Abigail bore Amasa: and the father of Amasa [was] Jether the Ishmaelite.

18 Και Χάλεβ ο υιός του Εσρών εγέννησεν υιούς εκ της Αζουβά της γυναικός αυτού και εκ της Ιεριώθ· και οι υιοί αυτής ήσαν Ιεσέρ και Σωβάβ και Αρδών.

And Caleb the son of Hezron begat [children] of Azubah [his] wife, and of Jerioth: her sons [are] these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.

19 Αποθανούσης δε της Αζουβά, ο Χάλεβ έλαβεν εις εαυτόν την Εφράθ, ήτις εγέννησεν εις αυτόν τον Ωρ.

And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took to him Ephrath, who bore to him Hur,

20 Και Ωρ εγέννησε τον Ουρί, και ο Ουρί εγέννησε τον Βεζελεήλ.

And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.

21 Και μετά ταύτα εισήλθεν ο Εσρών προς την θυγατέρα του Μαχείρ πατρός του Γαλαάδ· και ούτος έλαβεν αυτήν ηλικίας ων εξήκοντα ετών· και εγέννησεν εις αυτόν τον Σεγούβ.

And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he [was] sixty years old; and she bore him Segub.

22 Και Σεγούβ εγέννησε τον Ιαείρ, όστις είχεν εικοσιτρείς πόλεις εν τη γη Γαλαάδ.

And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.

23 Και έλαβεν εξ αυτών Γεσσούρ και Αράμ τας κώμας Ιαείρ, την Καινάθ και τας κώμας αυτής, εξήκοντα πόλεις. Πάσαι αύται ήσαν των υιών του Μαχείρ, πατρός του Γαλαάδ.

And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath and its towns, [even] sixty cities. All these [belonged to] the sons of Machir, the father of Gilead.

24 Και αφού απέθανεν ο Εσρών Χάλεβ-εφραθά, Αβιά η γυνή του Εσρών εγέννησεν εις αυτόν Ασχώρ τον πατέρα του Θεκουέ.

And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb-ephratah, then Abiah Hezron's wife bore him Ashur the father of Tekoa.

25 Και οι υιοί του Ιεραμεήλ, πρωτοτόκου του Εσρών, ήσαν Αράμ ο πρωτότοκος, και Βουνά και Ορέν και Οσέμ και Αχιά.

And the sons of Jerahmeel the first-born of Hezron were, Ram the first-born, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, [and] Ahijah.

26 Ο Ιεραμεήλ έλαβε και άλλην γυναίκα, της οποίας το όνομα ήτο Ατάρα· αύτη ήτο μήτηρ του Ωνάμ.

Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name [was] Atarah; she [was] the mother of Onam.

27 Και οι υιοί του Αράμ, πρωτοτόκου του Ιεραμεήλ, ήσαν Μαάς και Ιαμείν και Εκέρ.

And the sons of Ram the first-born of Jerahmeel were, Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.

28 Και οι υιοί του Ωνάμ ήσαν Σαμμαΐ και Ιαδαέ. Και οι υιοί του Σαμμαΐ, Ναδάβ και Αβισούρ.

And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab, and Abishur.

29 Και το όνομα της γυναικός του Αβισούρ ήτο Αβιχαίλ, και εγέννησεν εις αυτόν τον Ααβάν και τον Μωλήδ.

And the name of the wife of Abishur [was] Abihail; and she bore him Ahban, and Molid.

30 Και οι υιοί του Ναδάβ ήσαν Σελέδ και Απφαΐμ· απέθανε δε ο Σελέδ άτεκνος.

And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.

31 Και οι υιοί του Απφαΐμ, Ιεσεί. Και οι υιοί του Ιεσεί, Σησάν. Και οι υιοί του Σησάν, Ααλαί.

And the sons of Appaim; Ishi. And the sons of Ishi; Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan; Ahlai.

32 Και οι υιοί του Ιαδαέ, αδελφού του Σαμμαΐ, Ιεθέρ και Ιωνάθαν· απέθανε δε ο Ιεθέρ άτεκνος.

And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.

33 Και οι υιοί του Ιωνάθαν, Φαλέθ και Ζαζά· ούτοι ήσαν οι υιοί του Ιεραμεήλ.

And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.

34 Ο δε Σησάν δεν είχεν υιούς, αλλά θυγατέρας. Και είχεν ο Σησάν δούλον Αιγύπτιον, ονομαζόμενον Ιαραά·

Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name [was] Jarha.

35 και έδωκεν ο Σησάν την θυγατέρα αυτού εις τον Ιαραά, τον δούλον αυτού, εις γυναίκα· και εγέννησεν εις αυτόν τον Ατθαΐ.

And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant for a wife; and she bore him Attai.

36 Και Ατθαΐ εγέννησε τον Νάθαν, και Νάθαν εγέννησε τον Ζαβάδ,

And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,

37 και Ζαβάδ εγέννησε τον Εφλάλ, και Εφλάλ εγέννησε τον Ωβήδ,

And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,

38 και Ωβήδ εγέννησε τον Ιηού, και Ιηού εγέννησε τον Αζαρίαν,

And Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,

39 και Αζαρίας εγέννησε τον Χελής, και Χελής εγέννησε τον Ελεασά,

And Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,

40 και Ελεασά εγέννησε τον Σισαμαΐ, και Σισαμαΐ εγέννησε τον Σαλλούμ,

And Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,

41 και Σαλλούμ εγέννησε τον Ιεκαμίαν, και Ιεκαμίας εγέννησε τον Ελισαμά.

And Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.

42 Οι δε υιοί του Χάλεβ, αδελφού του Ιεραμεήλ, ήσαν Μησά ο πρωτότοκος αυτού, όστις ήτο ο πατήρ του Ζίφ· και οι υιοί του Μαρησά, πατρός του Χεβρών.

Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel [were], Mesha his first-born, who [was] the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

43 Και οι υιοί του Χεβρών, Κορέ και Θαπφουά και Ρεκέμ και Σεμά.

And the sons of Hebron; Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.

44 Και ο Σεμά εγέννησε τον Ραάμ, πατέρα του Ιορκοάμ· και ο Ρεκέμ εγέννησε τον Σαμμαΐ.

And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam: and Rekem begat Shammai.

45 Και ο υιός του Σαμμαΐ ήτο Μαών· ο δε Μαών ήτο πατήρ Βαιθ-σούρ.

And the son of Shammai [was] Maon: and Maon [was] the father of Beth-zur.

46 Και η Γεφά, παλλακή του Χάλεβ, εγέννησε τον Χαρράν, και τον Μοσά, και τον Γαζέζ. Και Χαρράν εγέννησε τον Γαζέζ.

And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez: and Haran begat Gazez.

47 Και οι υιοί του Ιαδαΐ, Ρεγέμ και Ιωθάμ και Γησάν και Φελέτ και Γεφά και Σαγάφ.

And the sons of Jahdai; Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.

48 Η Μααχά, παλλακή του Χάλεβ, εγέννησε τον Σεβέρ και τον Θιρχανά.

Maachah, Caleb's concubine, bore Sheber, and Tirhanah.

49 Εγέννησεν έτι τον Σαγάφ πατέρα Μαδμαννά, τον Σεβά πατέρα Μαχβηνά και πατέρα Γαβαά· η θυγάτηρ δε του Χάλεβ ήτο η Αχσά.

She bore also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea: and the daughter of Caleb [was] Achsah.

50 Ούτοι ήσαν οι υιοί του Χάλεβ, υιού του Ωρ, πρωτοτόκου της Εφραθά· Σωβάλ ο πατήρ Κιριάθ-ιαρείμ,

These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur, the first-born of Ephratah; Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim,

51 Σαλμά ο πατήρ Βηθλεέμ, Αρέφ ο πατήρ Βαιθ-γαδέρ.

Salma the father of Beth-lehem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader.

52 Και εις τον Σωβάλ τον πατέρα Κιριάθ-ιαρείμ έγειναν υιοί, ο Αροέ και Ασεί-αμενουχώθ.

And Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim had sons; Haroeh, [and] half of the Manahethites.

53 Και αι συγγένειαι Κιριάθ-ιαρείμ ήσαν οι Ιεθρίται και οι Φουθίται και οι Σουμαθίται και οι Μισραΐται. Εκ τούτων εξήλθον οι Σαραθαίοι και οι Εσθαωλαίοι.

And the families of Kirjath-jearim; the Ithrites, and the Puhites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zereathites, and the Eshtaulites.

54 Οι υιοί του Σαλμά, Βηθλεέμ και οι Νετωφαθίται, Αταρώθ του οίκου Ιωάβ και οι Ζωρίται, το ήμισυ των Μαναχαθιτών,

The sons of Salma; Beth-lehem, and the Netophathites, Ataroth, the house of Joab, and half of the Menahethites, the Zorites.

55 και αι συγγένειαι των γραμματέων, των κατοικούντων εν Ιαβής, οι Θιραθίται, οι Σιμεαθίται και οι Σουχαθίται. Ούτοι είναι οι Κεναίοι, οι εξελθόντες εκ του Αιμάθ, πατρός του οίκου Ρηχάβ.

And the families of the scribes who dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, [and] Suchathites. These [are] the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.
