Ψαλμοί 113

1 αλληλουια αἰνεῖτε παῖδες κύριον αἰνεῖτε τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου

Alleluya. Children, preise ye the Lord; preise ye the name of the Lord.

2 εἴη τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου εὐλογημένον ἀπὸ τοῦ νῦν καὶ ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος

The name of the Lord be blessid; fro this tyme now and til in to the world.

3 ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν ἡλίου μέχρι δυσμῶν αἰνεῖτε τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου

Fro the risyng of the sunne til to the goyng doun; the name of the Lord is worthi to be preisid.

4 ὑψηλὸς ἐπὶ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ὁ κύριος ἐπὶ τοὺς οὐρανοὺς ἡ δόξα αὐτοῦ

The Lord is hiy aboue alle folkis; and his glorie is aboue heuenes.

5 τίς ὡς κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν ὁ ἐν ὑψηλοῖς κατοικῶν

Who is as oure Lord God, that dwellith in hiye thingis;

6 καὶ τὰ ταπεινὰ ἐφορῶν ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐν τῇ γῇ

and biholdith meke thingis in heuene and in erthe?

7 ὁ ἐγείρων ἀπὸ γῆς πτωχὸν καὶ ἀπὸ κοπρίας ἀνυψῶν πένητα

Reisynge a nedi man fro the erthe; and enhaunsinge a pore man fro drit.

8 τοῦ καθίσαι αὐτὸν μετὰ ἀρχόντων μετὰ ἀρχόντων λαοῦ αὐτοῦ

That he sette hym with princes; with the princes of his puple.

9 ὁ κατοικίζων στεῖραν ἐν οἴκῳ μητέρα τέκνων εὐφραινομένην

Which makith a bareyn womman dwelle in the hous; a glad modir of sones.
