Ἔσδρας Βʹ 10

1 καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν σφραγιζόντων Νεεμιας υἱὸς Αχαλια καὶ Σεδεκιας

And over those sealed [are] Nehemiah the Tirshatha, son of Hachaliah, and Zidkijah,

2 υἱὸς Σαραια καὶ Αζαρια καὶ Ιερμια

Seraiah, Azariah, Jeremiah,

3 Φασουρ Αμαρια Μελχια

Pashhur, Amariah, Malchijah,

4 Ατους Σεβανι Μαλουχ

Huttush, Shebaniah, Malluch,

5 Ιραμ Μεραμωθ Αβδια

Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah,

6 Δανιηλ Γαναθων Βαρουχ

Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch,

7 Μεσουλαμ Αβια Μιαμιν

Meshullam, Abijah, Mijamin,

8 Μααζια Βελγαι Σαμαια οὗτοι ἱερεῖς

Maaziah, Bilgai, Shemaiah; these [are] the priests.

9 καὶ οἱ Λευῖται Ἰησοῦς υἱὸς Αζανια Βαναιου ἀπὸ υἱῶν Ηναδαδ Καδμιηλ

And the Levites: both Jeshua son of Azaniah, Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel;

10 καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ Σαβανια Ωδουια Καλιτα Φελεϊα Αναν

and their brethren: Shebaniah, Hodijah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan,

11 Μιχα Ροωβ Εσεβιας

Micha, Rehob, Hashabiah,

12 Ζαχωρ Σαραβια Σεβανια

Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah,

13 Ωδουια υἱοὶ Βανουναι

Hodijah, Bani, Beninu.

14 ἄρχοντες τοῦ λαοῦ Φορος Φααθμωαβ Ηλαμ Ζαθουια υἱοὶ

Heads of the people: Parosh, Pahath-Moab, Elam, Zatthu, Bani,

15 Βανι Ασγαδ Βηβαι

Bunni, Azgad, Bebai,

16 Εδανια Βαγοι Ηδιν

Adonijah, Bigvai, Adin,

17 Ατηρ Εζεκια Αζουρ

Ater, Hizkijah, Azzur,

18 Οδουια Ησαμ Βησι

Hodijah, Hashum, Bezai,

19 Αριφ Αναθωθ Νωβαι

Hariph, Anathoth, Nebai,

20 Μαγαφης Μεσουλαμ Ηζιρ

Magpiash, Meshullam, Hezir,

21 Μεσωζεβηλ Σαδδουκ Ιεδδουα

Meshezabeel, Zadok, Jaddua,

22 Φαλτια Αναν Αναια

Pelatiah, Hanan, Anaiah,

23 Ωσηε Ανανια Ασουβ

Hoshea, Hananiah, Hashub,

24 Αλωης Φαλαϊ Σωβηκ

Hallohesh, Pilha, Shobek,

25 Ραουμ Εσαβανα Μαασαια

Rehum, Hashabnah, Maaseiah,

26 καὶ Αϊα Αιναν Ηναν

and Ahijah, Hanan, Anan,

27 Μαλουχ Ηραμ Βαανα

Malluch, Harim, Baanah.

28 καὶ οἱ κατάλοιποι τοῦ λαοῦ οἱ ἱερεῖς οἱ Λευῖται οἱ πυλωροί οἱ ᾄδοντες οἱ ναθινιμ καὶ πᾶς ὁ προσπορευόμενος ἀπὸ λαῶν τῆς γῆς πρὸς νόμον τοῦ θεοῦ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν υἱοὶ αὐτῶν θυγατέρες αὐτῶν πᾶς ὁ εἰδὼς καὶ συνίων

And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the Nethinim, and every one who hath been separated from the peoples of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every knowing intelligent one,

29 ἐνίσχυον ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτῶν κατηράσαντο αὐτοὺς καὶ εἰσήλθοσαν ἐν ἀρᾷ καὶ ἐν ὅρκῳ τοῦ πορεύεσθαι ἐν νόμῳ τοῦ θεοῦ ὃς ἐδόθη ἐν χειρὶ Μωυσῆ δούλου τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ φυλάσσεσθαι καὶ ποιεῖν πάσας τὰς ἐντολὰς κυρίου ἡμῶν καὶ κρίματα αὐτοῦ

are laying hold on their brethren, their honourable ones, and coming in to an execration, and in to an oath, to walk in the law of God, that was given by the hand of Moses, servant of God, and to observe and to do all the commands of Jehovah our Lord, and His judgments, and His statutes;

30 καὶ τοῦ μὴ δοῦναι θυγατέρας ἡμῶν τοῖς λαοῖς τῆς γῆς καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας αὐτῶν οὐ λημψόμεθα τοῖς υἱοῖς ἡμῶν

and that we give not our daughters to the peoples of the land, and their daughters we take not to our sons;

31 καὶ λαοὶ τῆς γῆς οἱ φέροντες τοὺς ἀγορασμοὺς καὶ πᾶσαν πρᾶσιν ἐν ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ σαββάτου ἀποδόσθαι οὐκ ἀγορῶμεν παρ’ αὐτῶν ἐν σαββάτῳ καὶ ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ἁγίᾳ καὶ ἀνήσομεν τὸ ἔτος τὸ ἕβδομον καὶ ἀπαίτησιν πάσης χειρός

and the peoples of the land who are bringing in the wares and any corn on the sabbath-day to sell, we receive not of them on the sabbath, and on a holy day, and we leave the seventh year, and usury on every hand.

32 καὶ στήσομεν ἐφ’ ἡμᾶς ἐντολὰς δοῦναι ἐφ’ ἡμᾶς τρίτον τοῦ διδράχμου κατ’ ἐνιαυτὸν εἰς δουλείαν οἴκου θεοῦ ἡμῶν

And we have appointed for ourselves commands, to put on ourselves the third of a shekel in a year, for the service of the house of our God,

33 εἰς ἄρτους τοῦ προσώπου καὶ θυσίαν τοῦ ἐνδελεχισμοῦ καὶ εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα τοῦ ἐνδελεχισμοῦ τῶν σαββάτων τῶν νουμηνιῶν εἰς τὰς ἑορτὰς καὶ εἰς τὰ ἅγια καὶ τὰ περὶ ἁμαρτίας ἐξιλάσασθαι περὶ Ισραηλ καὶ εἰς ἔργα οἴκου θεοῦ ἡμῶν

for bread of the arrangement, and the continual present, and the continual burnt-offering of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for appointed seasons, and for holy things, and for sin-offerings, to make atonement for Israel, even all the work of the house of our God.

34 καὶ κλήρους ἐβάλομεν περὶ κλήρου ξυλοφορίας οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ οἱ Λευῖται καὶ ὁ λαός ἐνέγκαι εἰς οἶκον θεοῦ ἡμῶν εἰς οἶκον πατριῶν ἡμῶν εἰς καιροὺς ἀπὸ χρόνων ἐνιαυτὸν κατ’ ἐνιαυτόν ἐκκαῦσαι ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον κυρίου θεοῦ ἡμῶν ὡς γέγραπται ἐν τῷ νόμῳ

And the lots we have caused to fall for the offering of wood, [among] the priests, the Levites, and the people, to bring in to the house of our God, by the house of our fathers, at times appointed, year by year, to burn on the altar of Jehovah our God, as it is written in the law,

35 καὶ ἐνέγκαι τὰ πρωτογενήματα τῆς γῆς ἡμῶν καὶ πρωτογενήματα καρποῦ παντὸς ξύλου ἐνιαυτὸν κατ’ ἐνιαυτὸν εἰς οἶκον κυρίου

and to bring in the first fruits of our ground, and the first fruits of all fruit of every tree, year by year, to the house of Jehovah,

36 καὶ τὰ πρωτότοκα υἱῶν ἡμῶν καὶ κτηνῶν ἡμῶν ὡς γέγραπται ἐν τῷ νόμῳ καὶ τὰ πρωτότοκα βοῶν ἡμῶν καὶ ποιμνίων ἡμῶν ἐνέγκαι εἰς οἶκον θεοῦ ἡμῶν τοῖς ἱερεῦσιν τοῖς λειτουργοῦσιν ἐν οἴκῳ θεοῦ ἡμῶν

and the firstlings of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and our flocks, to bring in to the house of our God, to the priests who are ministering in the house of our God.

37 καὶ τὴν ἀπαρχὴν σίτων ἡμῶν καὶ τὸν καρπὸν παντὸς ξύλου οἴνου καὶ ἐλαίου οἴσομεν τοῖς ἱερεῦσιν εἰς γαζοφυλάκιον οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ δεκάτην γῆς ἡμῶν τοῖς Λευίταις καὶ αὐτοὶ οἱ Λευῖται δεκατοῦντες ἐν πάσαις πόλεσιν δουλείας ἡμῶν

And the beginning of our dough, and our heave-offerings, and the fruit of every tree, of new wine, and of oil, we bring in to the priests, unto the chambers of the house of our God, and the tithe of our ground to the Levites; and they — the Levites — have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage;

38 καὶ ἔσται ὁ ἱερεὺς υἱὸς Ααρων μετὰ τοῦ Λευίτου ἐν τῇ δεκάτῃ τοῦ Λευίτου καὶ οἱ Λευῖται ἀνοίσουσιν τὴν δεκάτην τῆς δεκάτης εἰς οἶκον θεοῦ ἡμῶν εἰς τὰ γαζοφυλάκια εἰς οἶκον τοῦ θεοῦ

and the priest, son of Aaron, hath been with the Levites in the tithing of the Levites, and the Levites bring up the tithe of the tithe to the house of our God unto the chambers, to the treasure-house;

39 ὅτι εἰς τοὺς θησαυροὺς εἰσοίσουσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ τοῦ Λευι τὰς ἀπαρχὰς τοῦ σίτου καὶ τοῦ οἴνου καὶ τοῦ ἐλαίου καὶ ἐκεῖ σκεύη τὰ ἅγια καὶ οἱ ἱερεῖς οἱ λειτουργοὶ καὶ οἱ πυλωροὶ καὶ οἱ ᾄδοντες καὶ οὐκ ἐγκαταλείψομεν τὸν οἶκον τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν

for unto the chambers do they bring in — the sons of Israel and the sons of Levi — the heave-offering of the corn, the new wine, and the oil, and there [are] vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests, those ministering, and the gatekeepers, and the singers, and we do not forsake the house of our God.
